Elissa looked across the desk at her oldest daughter, who was partially hidden behind her computer screen. “This has to do with Lucas, doesn’t it?” She asked.

“Yes.” Ana replied, glancing back at her computer screen, watching more emails fly into her inbox. 

“You’ll have a father.” Elissa began. “Kris and Cece will have a grandfather and-”

Ana cut her off. “That title is for Douxie and I to discuss.”

Elissa frowned. “But-”

Ana shook her head. “ No. I have, however, spoken to Parliament, because I’m unsure as to how this would work.”

“ You’re not going to stop me?”

Ana shook her head. Her and her siblings weren’t thrilled with the decision, but knew it wasn’t theirs to make in the end. “I- no. It’s your decision and I respect that. Anyway, when you marry Lucas, you will lose the title of ‘Her Majesty.’”

Elissa blinked at her daughter in confusion. “You’re joking.”

Ana bit her lip. “I’m not. When you marry him, you’ll stop being Her Majesty, Elissa, the Queen Dowager. The Prime Minister and I, alongside other members of Parliament, agreed that you’ll be ‘Her Royal Highness, Princess Elissa Munch, the Queen Dowager.’”

“You can’t be serious.”

“I’m just telling you what Parliament told me.” 

Elissa’s frown deepened. “Well, go back and tell Parliament that they’re wrong and don’t know what they’re talking about. There’s no precedent for them to base it off of.” 

Ana almost touched her necklace before she realized that it wasn’t there as she said, “Crown Princess Louise.” 

Elissa rolled her eyes. “She was Crown Princess. I was the Queen. There’s a distinct difference between the two.” 

Ana nodded in agreement. “Yes, there is. But Parliament chose to follow the precedent established for Crown Princess Louise.” 

“Then make them change their minds.” 

Ana scoffed. “Have you tried to change Peter Gathen’s mind about anything?” 

“He’s your ex.”

She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, and he was and is a piece of shit. There’s a reason he’s my ex.” 

Elissa glared at her. “Anastasia.”

Ana sighed and rolled her eyes again. “What? I’m almost 30 years old, married with two young children, I  think I’m allowed to curse. If you want to argue your case to them, you are more than welcome to, but I’ve done literally all I’m legally allowed to do in this case.”

but my little cousin who went off to the navy said hi to me and gave me a hug and that was nice :-) he always was the least-judgemental of...... literally everyone whos around my age in my family. so it was nice to see him. i also saw my niece and nephew and they are like. actual teenagers now. and that was freaky because i know them as young children in my head. idk. its crazy that everyone ages bro

the pros of going to my grandmothers funeral/celebration of life tomorrow: closure or whatever. i dont really know ive only been to two funerals in my whole life and i dont fully get what im suppsed to feel and do there

the cons: i dont talk to literally anyone on my moms side of the family. i could follow my brother around but he's gonna be mostly around my mom, who i do not talk to for a thousand reasons. and my ex-neighbors who are very openly transphobic to me will be around her. and no one on her side of the family really Gets that im trans either so like it just all sucks. i will surely get emotional because y'know, and that means that i will be emotional in front of my mom, which is bad for me. all my cousins are weird around me because we were close as kids but now no one knows how to approach me because ive only gotten more awkward and more unable to verbally speak

his students were no stranger to your relationship with sugawara, he was an open book when it came to you. happily rambling on and on about you when asked— letting himself get distracted, instead of focusing on their intended addition and subtraction lessons. they adored you and the stories of you, including your presence alone. his small students being all the more excited anytime you dropped by and helped sugawara around the classroom for the day. so approaching the time of your one year together, his student’s favorite teacher announced his gift plan during arts and crafts time. all for his upcoming anniversary with his lovely girlfriend that they also adore so much. their little hands grabbed their broken crayons and dried out markers. happily ready to help contribute a gift for you.

the binder was filled with a drawing from each student. each page having their own time to shine in your eyes. a warm, gentle expression plastered onto your face— appreciating the small details of the portraits of you. of course, it wasnt museum level work. but each detail made your heart warm each time. the harsh eraser marks, the parts where the ink from markers gave out, clumps of crayon wax. all of these were a given. but the details of your beautiful body didnt go amiss. you could tell, sugawara probably emphasized on making sure they didnt lack any detail about you. the soft shape of your figure, the color of your skin, your stature, your clothing style, the accessories you wear— and it only made your heart swell in warmth even more.

as you continued onto another page, your plump fingers dug through the corner to flip to the next illustration. though sugawara’s gentle hand was suddenly placed atop of yours, warmth and love easing comfortably onto your skin. his voice followed with a soft tone that eased carefully beside your ear, “i shouldnt have favorites… but this next ones my favorite.” and with your raised brows of intrigue and anticipation, the page revealed before you was a drawing of two figures. one in a clean tuxedo, and the other in a white dress and veil— standing hand in hand under a smiley face sun… you and him.

“who knows…” his voice mellowed carefully like his touch, with a shining glint adorned his eyes as he examined the drawing. his thumb subconsciously caressing your left ring finger. “maybe this student was onto something.”

Titans 2x05 review

- KORYYYYYYYYY IS BACKKKKKKKKKKKK. Listen, the way I started grinning when she was driving back, and then when she arrived. I’m so happy that she is reunited with her family. See how her presence just automatically makes everything better? It would have been nice to see an emotional reunion between her and Gar, but, well, what can you do.

- Her moments with Dick? *chef’s kiss* utter perfection. The way his face softened when he saw her, how he couldn’t keep things from her, how he listened to her when they were all in the training room. AND THEN, AND MOTHERFUCKING THEN, WHEN THEY FOUGHT TOGETHER. Lets not even talk about how Kory just knew that he was going to be sacrificing himself. They are THAT duo, THAT couple.

I really hope we continue to see their relationship flourish, continue to see them support and lean on each other. Especially because I feel like Blackfire is gonna make an entrance at the end of the season, and Kory’s gonna need some emotional support with that.

- Kory’s scenes with Rachel. I mean, what’s not to love? They’re the perfect definition of a found family. You can tell how light Rachel becomes once Kory arrived, because finally, finally her person was back, who would understand her strength and power. But please can they figure out a solution to what’s going on with her because this demonic energy cloud is um....yikes.

- That moment between Kory and Donna too. I like that it’s Donna who Kory told about being a princess and her hesitation about whether to go or not, because that’s literally what Donna had to decide. Minus the whole being a princess thing. I really hope Donna finds some peace after this, my poor girl is just triggered.

- Hank. Poor man :( I like the bond he has with Jason because the two of them are really so similar, and I think he himself is starting to see it now. When he was talking to Dawn about how alone he felt when he was kid, and how he wished anyone would save him from his coach, my heart actually broke. Him and Dawn really are perfect for each other, they keep each other balanced.

- Dawn’s scene with Dick was absolutely fierce and I loved it. Although I don’t completely agree with her, I can understand what she’s saying and I do think there were points she made that Dick has to take on board. He can’t call these kids Titans 2.0 and not tell them about the history of the group and of the tower, it makes no sense and it doesn’t protect anyone.

- Jason, my boy, my sweet baby. I love how he kept on shit talking, he really wasn’t afraid and that’s one thing I love about him. Also, he kicked Dr Light’s ASS and he was tied up. This boy clearly has skills. I love him but I’m worried for him, because I think most of us know how it goes wrong, and yeah... I mean I don’t think he’ll die now, but that cliffhanger gave me anxiety. I really hope Kory discovers her flight and saves him, but idk. Maybe Bruce will save him because there isn’t a chance in hell that he isn’t monitoring Jason’s tracker every second of every hour.

- Also, Rose being resurrected. Does that mean there’s a chance Joey was also resurrected and the team don’t know? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

- Dr Light’s lights have been switched OFF for good. Tbh I’m surprised Death-stroke didn’t do that earlier. It’s clear that he was helpful for a little while, but ultimately he really wasn’t on Slade Wilson’s level.

Anyways. This episode was really good. I enjoyed it. I hope the upcoming episodes are of the same calibre. I personally don’t see the point of Connor being added to the group, I mean surely they have enough people to beat Deathstroke now, but I mean we’ll see what he brings.
