The Tron Kirk today.

Good to see the Tron open again, I advise visitors to Edinburgh to try and buy souvenirs from the likes of places like this, rather than the tartan tat shops that dominate the Royal Mile.

I must also calm down on the amount of photies am taking as I am having difficulty posting them all!

The Tron Kirk is one of the iconic buildings of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. Built in the 17th century, it stands tall with a mix of Palladian and Gothic elements.

In 2003 the Tron was placed on the Buildings at Risk Register and has since cycled through various uses, most recently being leased by Edinburgh World Heritage Trust. It has now been taken on by Scottish Historic Buildings Trust to develop a feasibility study for its future restoration.

As seen among my pics the Kirk features a fine hammerbeam roof of an unusual latticed truss construction.

I think the main problem before was getting someone to commit to taking on the Tron and restoring it, which, from what I understand would mean repairing the roof in full, the cost will be in the millions, now that charity organisations like the SHBT are involved perhaps lottery money etc will become available.

Riddle's Court.

One of the most interesting Closes in The Old Town, Riddle's Court was previously a 16th-century mansion house complex near the top of the Royal Mile, occupied by high-status residents who benefited from being close to the castle for access to the monarch, King James VI. Indeed, this future king James I of England held a grand banquet in Riddle's Court in 1598.

From 2015 to 2017, the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) undertook a major conservation and regeneration project at Riddle’s Court, which saw over £6 million invested into the building to bring it back to life and secure its future.

A Lesson In Hei Path 16

So often we are taught that leaders are the strongest and the most powerful ones who will rule over ones who follow them. Throughout history it has been disproven that ones who lead by strength alone will always succumb to the ones who hold both strength and wisdom within their hearts. A true leader of even a tribe must have the balance of the 3 to lead the all.

As in many lessons from the Torah & Bible we learn that to lead is not held by simply awe and strength. Love, Honor & Respect must be earned from the all before one can lead a single person, Even themselves. To see the folly of a ruler by force is a lesson to all as to learn who is and is not fit to lead. The knowledge of intuition will always guide one towards what is best, even if it isn't what seems right to do. As the axiom of sometimes the right thing to do isn't what seems right this is why Spirit guides us in these times of Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom .

To follow in this path is to have the Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom of Spirit be our guide through Intuition.
