Though I panicked when I got to the witness part and sort of last second grabbed my Wally Plush. He counts, right?????

Filled it out in crayon. Felt fitting. Like I said! Whimsy!

Reborn World Swap

A scenario that’s been on my mind for a while now is one where Reborn gets hit with the TYL bazooka but instead of swapping places with his TYL self, the bazooka malfunctions and instead he’s swapped roles with the Reborn from a parallel world (that more closely aligns with the canon KHR timeline. Let's call him Canon!Reborn for now), where he never met Apple and she never existed. And this swap happens to last for a few days. No one can tell why.

Canon!Reborn coming to the In Somnis world confused as to who this woman is and why she appears heartbroken when he says he doesn’t know her (and yet she’s strangely okay with it too. There’s a forlorn acceptance and understanding in her expression that he decides he also does not like very much at all).

It also annoys him the way everyone else is shocked he doesn’t know her and quite upset at him for it. He ends up sorta avoiding Apple (not in a rude or awkward way but really that's just a stranger to him so he treats her as such) and just goes about his regular routine of torturing tutoring his students. I think over time though he would unintentionally grow attached. Maybe not quite in love with this strange but warm woman but he grows fond. And maybe. Just maybe if given the chance he could see himself loving her too. And there’s a few other things in the IS world which I think would shock Reborn but I can’t say because of spoilers.

Meanwhile the IS!Reborn being in the canon-aligned universe and wondering where the heck Apple is. This world is fine. There’s nothing wrong with it. His students are well, Tsuna is happy and growing and learning each day. But it’s remarkably emptier to him. Not to mention he feels especially trigger happy whenever people give him strange looks when he asks about Apple or certain other people.

This Reborn isn't happy about this world (neither of them are for different reasons). When they do eventually switch back, there's a wistfulness there as they contemplate their own set of circumstances how different the world is on the other side.

so this "ethics & legal requirements for research involving human subjects" course I'm doing for class rn hasn't figured out that you don't hyphenate "cisgender," and yet has still somehow heard of "trans broken arm syndrome" and wants to inform us about it being a source of distrust in medical professionals among some trans people. what's happening here....

Can’t remember if I reblogged that screenshot of the rotten tomatoes fnaf rating that’s like, fans screaming “it’s not for you!”

Because I just watched the fnaf movie.

Truly, it was not for the layman. 😂 I enjoyed it. I’m not sure I would classify it as a good movie, but it was technically wonderful and I greatly appreciated the seriousness and care that the filmmakers took with it. It could’ve so easily just been a shitty jumpscare mess but they took the time to actually build it up. The lore is different (from what I understand) but I liked that they reworked it into a story that better fit the film medium. Bc let’s face it, fnaf lore is long, insane, and complicated as hell. But the film told a structured story that, yeah, maybe some filmgoers will enjoy more than others by virtue of knowing what the actual lore is, but I’m one of those people. So I liked it. 😂

Only complaint is, of all the little Easter eggs and musical cues, I’m sad that we didn’t get to hear the music box toreador march. 😢

Worst discord server?

I want you to imagine this; A roleplay/hang out hybrid server that's roughly 50-something people, with pink, sparkly, and Kirby-based aesthetic.

Ok, now have the owner be a bit of a self centered dick (though largely unaware of it) who will start to panic whenever something goes the Slightest bit wrong and uses their trauma as a way to gain sympathy points (also largely unaware of doing so) so everyone will tend to take their side whenever someone tries to call them out

Welcome to the Carnival. The most exhausting year of my life and the reason why I lost interest in the Kirby Series for a year or so.

The guys there are. Fine. So long as you ignore every weird, iffy, and icky feeling you get whenever you get them, which for me was. Most of the time (admittedly I was part of the problem, so I guess I can't talk much)

I'm not quite sure how to explain it tbh, but mostly there was like. A Silent Threat, kinda, basically a sort of "if you go against what we believe in we'll make sure you'll regret it"

Looking back I thiiink most things could've been solved with a good talk but like. I used to be one of the owner's trusted people, and I *knew* they made groupchats to talk about specific people and most of what I've seen was "yeah block/kick them out because they were being mean" so. Yeah no shit i'd be scared shitless to speak up

If we want something PM flavored then Alyssciel's Discord Server is another Bad One™

Essentially? 4 mods (including Alyssciel herself), one's always offline (not invisible), the other + Alyssciel don't really do their jobs as moderators, only one person's trying to make an effort; 300-something people in this server

Now. What do you think will happen if I bring in my plural/system oomf who headcanons a fem Ruina character (Lesti) as transmasc?

I'm not gonna get too big on the details because this was like. Several years ago and I honestly don't wanna do too much digging but basically they presented their transmasc!Lesti hc, got made fun of for it; switched with an alter and used pluralkit for that (unrelated to first incident iirc), also got made fun of because the others thought they were roleplaying, got pluralkit banned from being used outside of roleplay channels, which is already a big yikes...

And when oomf left the server because they were uncomfortable about it Alyssciel made a big show about it and caused an uproar
