Interior intensificará el rastreo de discursos de odio contra el colectivo LGTBI en Twitter

Marlaska ha reiterado la «implicación» de su departamento en la persecución de los delitos de odio y ha animado a «denunciar toda situación de acoso»

El Ministerio del Interior intensificará el monitoreo que realizan las brigadas de delitos telemáticos para vigilar los discursos de odio que se lanzan en redes sociales contra el colectivo LGTBI, según ha anunciado este miércoles Fernando Grande-Marlaska a la Federación Plataforma Trans en una reunión.

«El ministro va a dar un aviso para que el monitoreo que hacen las brigadas de delitos telemáticos de la Policía se incremente y haya más vigilancia en Twitter», ha anunciado a los medios la presidenta de la Federación Plataforma Trans, Mar Cambrollé, tras el encuentro con Marlaska, a quien ha visto «muy preocupado» y «receptivo».

Por su parte, Marlaska ha reiterado la «implicación» de su departamento en la persecución de los delitos de odio y ha animado a «denunciar toda situación de acoso», según un comunicado del ministerio, que también se ha reunido con el Observatori Contra l’Homofobia de Catalunya y la Federación Estatal de Lesbianas, Gais, Trans, Bisexuales e Intersexuales (FELGTBI+).

En sus respectivas reuniones, estas organizaciones han trasladado a Marlaska su preocupación por la extensión del discurso de odio y el aumento de agresiones contra las personas del colectivo LGTBI, una tendencia especialmente preocupante en las redes sociales.

Solo en Twitter se contabilizaron unos 231.000 tuits con carácter transfóbico entre 2021 y 2022, según Cambrollé, quien asegura que «esta cifra ha aumentado más de un 20% en 2023» y pide a Interior que «envíe un mensaje contundente a Twitter para que cumpla con el marco de la Constitución».

«Estamos mandando el mensaje de que hay barra libre para agredir a las personas trans, hay coto libre de caza», ha lamentado Cambrollé, quien ha reivindicado que «Twitter tiene que entender que no se puede vender odio en España».

Por su parte, la FELGTBI+ ha reclamado a Marlaska una «revisión metodológica profunda de los protocolos» para que «recojan los delitos de odio de manera más fidedigna», así como la formación en diversidad de los cuerpos policiales y la creación de unidades especiales para atender incidencias relacionadas con la discriminación por orientación sexual o identidad de género.

«A día de hoy solo se denuncian dos de cada diez actos de odio porque el miedo se ha insertado dentro del colectivo y las personas LGTBI+ temen no ser atendidas correctamente si acuden a comisaría», ha declarado la presidenta de la Federación, Uge Sangil.

Eugeni Rodríguez, director del Observatori Contra l’Homofobia, ha avanzado que, para evitar futuras agresiones, Marlaska también ha anunciado la firma de un convenio con la Federación Española de Municipios y Provincias para que las policías locales estén coordinadas con el resto de fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad.

Con ello, Interior busca mejorar la identificación, recogida y codificación de estos incidentes, delitos y conductas discriminatorias para unificar los datos registrados por los diferentes cuerpos policiales.

Asimismo, la Mesa Nacional contra los delitos de odio se reunirá el próximo 3 de julio para analizar el segundo plan contra este tipo de crímenes lanzado por Interior.
