𝐂𝐗𝐈𝐈𝐈𝐋. On another topic, and since I'm still studying a bit the Scribe's Box text—
◜I yearn for the black dragon from the princess' dreams to engulf the land in a cloud of scarlet poison.◞
Just how wild is it that the Princess of Sal Vindagnyr could already foresee this happening from no less than thousands of years before this could even happen? I am not questioning how she could do that, as when she was born under the Frostbearing Tree —an emanation of Irminsul—, she was gifted that ability to foresee. But it does beg the question of how predictable it was that Rhinedottir would mess things up this bad, or if it was engraved to happen that way by the gods in a similar manner as the prophecy of Fontaine was established.
Personally, I am more inclined to think that among the many capabilities Irminsul has, one of them is to know the endless possibilities in the past and in the future (one of Childe's stories does mention something about that, actually). But thinking about how far back in time one can go in order to predict something of this magnitude happening and with absolute accuracy is mind blowing.
#◟༺✧༻◞ events to be remembered in blue veins ┊addendum.┊#it would be no exaggeration to say#that that princess was a Visionary#a term introduced by M.ona and repeated by S.kirk later#and I'm tempted to believe that Dain is one too#given that he does exhibit predicting abilities too#S.kirk mentioned V.edrfolnir as being one such Visionary#and in a way I find it heavily ironic#that his name in the Norse mythology is related to Yggdrasil#a hawk specifically#and Dain's (Dáinn) name being equally related too as a stag#the pieces fit#and if it fits I sits as the cats do#I'm running away with this shamelessly now
