They did everything they could to make Botan's bear companion, Bansuke, snap out of his rage. Nothing worked, and there's only one solution left, and Botan isn't about to leave her best friend alone. That is not the pact they made so many years ago. An icy mist is forming around her and Bansuke, and tears are welling up in her eyes as she tries to comfort her friend for what is to come. "It's okay, I'm here; I hold you," her voice cracks, and tears flow down her cheeks. They call her name in desperation, as they know, but she doesn’t respond. No. She wrapped her arms around her friend's large frame. Her husband and son's faces flash through her mind as she uses her ice release to impale herself and Bansuke in a prison of ice.

I’m sorry for having failed you, Bansuke. Forgive me...

Sara looks at Gai. There is a fire in her eyes that wasn't there before. She looks more confident.

"Gai-san! I have managed to open the first gate! Please teach me the others. I can't perform ninjutsu or genjutsu very well, so I must excel in taijutsu." Her voice is louder and more confident, and her speech pattern sounds almost like Rock Lee's. That being said, it's clear that she's trying to be formal instead of that being her actual speech pattern.

Her youthful determination to succeed radiated off her. Her newly found confidence was a testament to her dedication in opening the Eight Gates. Gai matched the fire in her eyes with his sheer enthusiasm to further stoke the flames deep within her. “I’m so proud of you, Sara-chan! Let’s go to the training ground and prepare you for the next step!” He had to seize the moment right now when her confidence was high.

“You’ve got this!” He said in encouragement. There was no way he would let that flame die; he would nurture it and turn it into a blazing inferno.

Right after Izumi's read that smut book there's Desmond- doing yardwork outside shirtless.

"Heya Izumi~" He waves unaware.

Izumi’s brow was twitching; why was Desmond running around in her garden topless anyway?! Why did this have to happen right after she was all flustered after reading that darn smut book? It was so graphic, and she still continued to read it. Seeing a man topless was the last thing she needed.  

“Cover yourself up!” She exclaimed to him, her face flushing more from embarrassment. Get a grip, Izumi, she thought.
