Some more lore while we work on revamps!

You may have seen these two diseases mentioned before, but this is the first time we’ve delved into them.

Leixosis, overproduction of tears, and Drizlezz, dry eye, are two naturally occurring ailments that many Ryubliss face at some point in their lives.

Some Ryubliss were born with one of these diseases and thus may never be rid of it unless treated.

Cinnamix and Mintberry Cream, two researchers of natural Ryubliss diseases, have studied for years on how to counteract the effects of these illnesses. Now that they’ve found potential remedies, they may be setting up shop soon...

"Who are you?"

Konyono (I thInk) looked up at the titan-like creature. They had heard about beasts like these, oftentimes gazing at the night sky to ponder how such a behemoth could live outside of the world with nothing to do.

"That's logical of you to say that, my name is Diamond Dream. I prefer if you call me Diamond for short."

They snorted, why would they approach THEM? They were the guardian of hallucinations! Well, false god, but they deserved better. "My name is Konyono, Gaurdian of Hallucinations."

"False God, to be exact. I've heard much about you, Konyono. This planet's species takes much fear from you, from what I've heard. How you can cripple a creature simply by making them feel immense fear.. However, I'm here to make sure you don't over-use it.."

Konyono was stumped about this, over-use it? Making sure? It them hit them. Of course.

"Oh,hoho. No. I will NOT be babysitted(ryu-sitted??) by some monster from the sky."

"I think you misunderstood, I am not 'Babysitted' you or whatever that word means, I am simply going to give you advice, tips, and prevent you from going over the top."

They simply muttered under their breath, the look on it's eyes seemed to be serious, and they wouldn't go away anytime sooner.

"Alright alright, fine! I get it, you're not gonna leave me alone till somehow you need to go."

"Correct, now, you better find shelter. Staying out in the night isn't good for you."

answer this privately please, I'm trying to keep that account, and this one entirely different, there's a reason I deleted that account, and, I will do all the work for any askblogs I make unless someone wants to help.

I’m sorry, but I’m not obligated to keep you anonymous because this is rather callous of you.

Your actions were incredibly hurtful to several of my friends as well as myself, and you proved yourself to be unwilling to pull your weight on any askblog you make.

You drove the Andromixie blog into the ground, constantly spammed our own shared inbox with unrelated asks, and tried to forcibly insert fandom content into people’s original blogs as if you didn’t even care about their original stories completely unrelated to any fandom.

Ryubliss and Andromixie were completely original stories and species with their own worlds that I spent years coming up with. And you couldn’t even say anything about them except “Terraria, Vine, Memes, JSAB”. 

You bullied others into churning out askblogs for fandoms that they don’t even have any experience in, like Terraria, Subnautica, and Minecraft. And then, as if to rub salt in the wound, you outright refused to contribute anything, art, lore, or otherwise, to said blogs, allowing them to fall into hiatus and be deleted or abandoned.

You spammed people’s art streams with endless music requests for your own fandoms, causing a huge disruption.

All in all, you’ve repeatedly proven yourself to be unable to think about others in any capacity. And when we brought this to your attention, you chose to not only continue your misdeeds, but also call for others to support and defend you.

So, no, I’m not answering this privately. Why? So that you can pretend to be someone else, pretend that you didn’t manipulate and guilt-trip several people for months, only to disappear for half a year? No. I refuse to stand by and allow that.

If you truly wanted to change, you would have kept your old blog and had the bravery to face the people you hurt and apologize to them. Instead, you chose to take on a false persona, even though the last post you ever made on your old blog was a pathetic last-ditch attempt at manipulating us into supporting you.

Goodbye, Ender, Orion, whatever you want to be called. Effective immediately, your moderator position on Andromixies has been terminated.

for a species group trying to be super original, @ryubliss-central/Arizel-ryuniverse on DA has quite a few species that could qualify as free/cheap substitutes for a lot of high price CS. Not intentionally, but if you want a cute deer/fox-like creature with more lore than Dainties, there's Ryubliss. If you want a parasitic being with eye horror but don't want to break the bank on Mignyans, there's Ophiuscites. They don't really resemble Mignyans or Dainties, but the base theme is there.

(I’m not sure if we ever actually posted the backstory of Phobia, despite mentioning her many times in the lore. )

The nightmarish queen of Ryubliss, daughter of Andromeda and Arizel, the spirit of the planet itself.

Phobia is a kindhearted, yet frightening and stubborn soul, a Nightmare and the first modern Ryubliss.

Before her birth, the Ancients and their descendants, the Exclubliss, had no world to call their own, dwelling on Earth, living in fear of humanity. The Ancients once sought conquest, desiring to eliminate the source of their fear, though their children and grandchildren kept them docile, eventually coaxing most of the ageless serpents into forms reminiscent of today’s doglike dreamfolk.

Upon first coming into existence as a young Ryubliss, Phobia was often shunned and even scolded by Gild, the leader of the Ancients. Phobia lacked a dragon form, confined solely to her small, docile appearance. She was made of nightmares, though she appeared weak, small, and helpless.

Despite now having a world of their own to call home, the Ancients still feared the outside, as many other creatures had come to inhabit the surface... and gateways to the human world still existed.

Having been assigned to protect the child of Dreams and Nightmares, Gild kept Phobia as safe as possible, though the pup was kept under lock and key, both to deprive her of autonomy and ensure her security.

Nevertheless, Phobia soon escaped from the caverns, reaching Earth through one of the many tunnel-portals.

Here, Phobia discovered her purpose as not just a vessel for the imagination of her parents, but also a protector in her own right... a protector of innocence and a being of security.

Her purpose renewed, the enlightened Phobia returned to her old home in the caverns, though not to stay. She quickly rallied support, showing once and for all that her kind no longer had to fear the outside. Together, she and a group of other Ryubliss ascended to the surface of the islands in hopes of carving out a home of their own.

So, who leads the exclubliss as of currently? Why is Nym called a traitor by Proxi?

The Exclubliss are currently being led by a vengeful Ancient known as Gild.

As for Nym being a traitor... she had a complicated past regarding Proxy.

Four new variants of a subspecies of Ryubliss, the Exclubliss! This will be the version of Ryubliss that will get Deviantart Exclusive adopts from time to time!

Derived from the Ancients, these powerful Ryubliss defy the laws of the species. Hiding from society and shunning non dreamfolk, they reside in a cavern underneath the islands, only coming out when they find someone whom they dearly admire or trust.

Unlike most Ryubliss, they’re made of multiple dreams fused into one being, and they never undergo a Ryubean phase.

They’re incredibly rare, only appearing once in a blue moon...

The representatives of each breed include the following:

Dearest, the False Ancient Pix, the Basic Blood Zephyr, the Epic One Poltergeist, the Night Terror

For the first time in centuries, a direct descendant of the Ancients has emerged from below the islands, confirming the public's suspicions. Riddled with panic, this mysterious, abnormal Ryubliss warns of a great catastrophe that is said to be coming to befall the Ryuniverse Archipelago! What could this newcomer, who claims to be called Sweet Spice, intend in Arizel? And why does his energy seem similar to Faust's?! (Roleplay available via asks until 11:59 p.m. today.)

So, what kinds of sentient species lived in the exclubliss home area before those species were driven out? I’m really curious now...

It was mostly just Respies, or at least a variety that lives in darker environments. There were some Yume Mice here and there as well. In the deeper areas of the lakes, there lived some Abyssalites.

The caverns were meant to be a temporary home, of course. The Ancients once lived somewhere very different...

What does the exclubliss home area look like?

The Exclubliss currently live deep within a cavern under the islands. It is unknown whether the cavern is within an island of its own, is a cave at the bottom of the islands, or some sort of pocket dimension beyond the clouds.

The cavern itself possesses simple biomes reminiscent of the surface. There’s a lake area, small forests wherever sunlight is most abundant, even a system of hot springs and small volcanic regions. The caverns have very high ceilings, which allow for minor weather phenomena, usually just rain since the temperature tends to remain around 70 degrees Fahrenheit year round.

In terms of local fauna, only small, non-sentient animals exist here, as the Exclus have driven out all other sentient species out of distrust.

If you chose Embrace...

Konoyo, false guardian of hallucination, seeks a mortal vessel to embrace their nightmarish energy... They have been imprisoned high above the clouds of Arizel, locked away by the Ancients, who deemed their power too dangerous for a Nightmare to wield. Their power is that of inflicting crippling, irrational fear and confusion upon their foes to escape conflict.

They wish to rescue Nym... and turn her into a full Nightmare, plunging Shift City into darkness....

End the summer with the call of the dark!

Each “Mod” Ryubliss, within the universe canon, controls and rules over a separate island in the Ryuniverse Archipelago.

Faust is in charge of Notion Knoll, a rural, hilly, forested island dominated by lively, yet cozy communities.

Lychee watches over Moonstone Creek, a tranquil fishing village which is home to a surprisingly bustling, boisterous marketplace.

Nym is the keeper of Shift City, a constantly moving, upbeat society of nocturnal Ryubliss who are always traveling and meeting new Dreamfolk.

And last, but certainly not least, Cherry Bloom guards the Gardenia Grotto, a town known for its sprawling flower fields and homes tucked away in burrows and caverns.

The center island, Origin, is ruled only by Worldview herself, its land only set foot upon by those deemed worthy.
