Lukomorye Park, State farm named after Lenin, Russia 🇷🇺 / #лукоморье #пушкин #искусство " A grieving princess in a cell, And faithful wolf serves her well" В детстве нам читают и рассказывают сказки, и сказочный мир нам кажется волшебным и прекрасным! Потом мы взрослеем, и в наших головах появляется множество разных и неудобных вопросов. А почему у Пушкина в поэме "Руслан и Людмила" волк бурого, а не серого цвета? А как звали ту самую царевну в темнице? Быть может Софья Алексеевна или Мария Фёдоровна, или Анна Энгельгардт? А может быть лицейский приятель, Владимир Вольховский по прозвищу Волк, был тем сказочным героем, который верно служил своей принцессе? Что известно нам об истории любви? - мы не знаем правильных ответов. Но со временем мы начинаем осознавать, что между строками поэта находится огромный-огромный мир, в котором легко запутаться и заблудиться. Более того, он настолько огромный, что в нем можно найти самого себя. Занавес открывается, жизнь продолжается, любая сказка обязательно сбывается... Hi! What do you know about Russian stories that involve trees? Like in the Soviet movie Снегурочка❄️The Snow Maiden the birch trees bow for the heroine and in Frog Tsarevna 🐸👑 Koscheis soul is hidden in an iron chest under a green oak tree (and a hare & duck & an egg etc.). I think that in some version Koschei also had a garden of silver or golden trees Спасибо!

Hello! Sorry for delay. Ok, so, there are a lot of tales which involve trees. Although, to be honest, I never really paid attention to it. I think, in the tales we can find oak, birch, spruce, pine, rowan, aspen. Offhand, I can remember a few fairy tales.

“The Tale of Ivan Sosnovich” Also known as “The hard life of the simple Russian Pinocchio”.

Sosnovich is a patronym. It literally translates as “son of a pine-tree”. And yes, he is a pine.

Once upon a time there was an old man with an old woman. They had no children. And one day the old woman asked her husband to bring a pine log from the forest, and, of course, he brought it. The old woman had been rocking this log in a cradle for three years, after that the log turned into a young man, Ivan Sosnovich.

The existence in the form of the log greatly influenced Ivan. As soon as he transformed into a man, he immediately killed a wolf, chopped firewood for his old parents and blackmailed blacksmiths. When he got sick of all this, he went on a journey.

During the journey, he became friends with several heroes, visited the Underground Kingdom, fought with Koschei, saved few princesses, lost the friends, killed Koschei, married a princess.

The memories of the log life never pursued Ivan. All was well.

“The Magic Swan Geese”: an apple-tree hide children in her leaves from the swan geese and Baba-Yaga.

“The tale about the Apples of Youth and the Water of Life”: well, the apples of youth hang on an apple tree :)

“The Birch Tree and the three falcons”: the princess was turned into a birch by the demon.

If you ask a Russian to imagine the world of Russian fairy tales, then, most likely, the first thing he thinks about is a green oak, entwined with a gold chain. The huge cat walks round the tree and tells stories or sings songs. A rusalka sits in the foliage. Some guys drink beer somewhere near, the thirty-three heroes pass by them. Witches and warlocks fly around… It’s a quintessence of the Russian Tale. Looks like that:

Also, an oak was probably dedicated to Perun. The slavic people had oak groves, where it was forbidden to enter with weapons.
