It's spooky season again and I'm seeing this fun guy show up in Tumblr posts:

As Tumblr's biggest Rush fan it delights me so much to see him because he's the rapping skeleton from the title track of Rush's 1991 album Roll The Bones which happens to be my favorite album of all time.

Krieger from Archer was obsessed with Rush (the Canadian Rock band). Archer is voiced by H. John Benjamin. Bob Belcher is also voiced by H. John Benjamin. One of Bob's favorite in-universe bands is Zentipede. Therefore, Zentipede is not a generic parody band, they are supposed to be Rush.

"Let My People Rock" is not a parody of "The Wall" by Pink Floyd, idk what y'all say. To me, it is and always will be a parody of "2112 Overture."

Now you know the truth, you won't be able to unsee it, and you know this makes way more sense.

Uhhh sooooo NYC 80’s punk scene AU where ed used to play in bands when younger but not anymore & runs a popular venue and is totally burned out on the scene. Until a blonde weirdo wearing pastels started coming to shows there and he had to understand what is going on with this guy?? And the guy wants to learn more about this world and Ed confused but ends up having more fun than he has in ages??

As a fellow rush lover do you have any public playlist on YouTube music or spotify. Sometimes I just get tired of going through the ones I’ve created. Especially if it’s just drum solos. I’ve started one for their non lyrical

I just have like 3 albums I’ve listened to so much they are my go to background because I can totally zone out and just concentrate because I’ve conditioned myself to clean to them and I’m looking to branch out

Sadly no personal playlists.

We tend to prefer listening to full albums over playlists. Live albums included.

Rush's albums tend to all be 'concept' in a way. An easy example the widely held fan theory that Signals is about the life progression of a single person (The Analog Kid who becomes the New World Man who becomes The Digital Man).

More broad is the full album themes such as Power Windows about political and natural forces of control, Roll The Bones on fate and destiny, Counterparts on the various types of relationships and Test For Echo about communication. It makes sense to listen to the albums as a whole.

Glad Rush provides good motivational music.
