Yo Mao-fans, indulge me for a sec:

I’ve got this au I’ve been wanting to do for *ages* and we finally have enough characters in the series to pull it off

MAO/ Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them AU

!!!! It’s basically already the same setting time-wise, and Mao is basically a Japanese Newt Scamander (except, like, immortal and part-cat). BUT LETS LOOK AT THE CAST!!

Credence- Byouki (!!! HEAR ME OUT!!)

*Otoya is basically himself in this au as Mao’s assistant, though he sorta takes the place of the Niffler: creatures keep escaping from Mao’s case, and Otoya runs after them; Mao, in turn, chases after Otoya.

I am open to suggestions, but the main four I’m pretty set on. Tenko is, like,,, pretty much perfect for Queenie imo, and Shiraha being the magicless everyday guy dropped in amongst the chaos?? I love it. Plus I get my Tenko/Shiraha romance no one asked for

About Byouki.... I mean he’d have to be humanized or something for this to work..... but misunderstood and overpowered character that everyone is trying to get their hands on to use for evil!! I think Byouki could be it. Also Mao could totally be the one to empathize and actually try to understand him and be like ‘this isn’t your fault’ and all that.

And then Sana as Leta just works because you get that vague ‘Mao and Sana kinda past relationship but not really’ vibe from the manga and it’s perfect

Also I think Kuchinawa would be a great Grindelwald bc he’s a creep but he could probably sweet talk you into anything like DOING SOMETHING INCREDIBLY STUPID QUEENIE!!!!! ಠ_ಠ

It’s either an AU where Mao is a rich visitor of this 1920s Salon (what are these things, exclusive rich peoples clubs??) but he likes to sneak away from the snobby guests and meet up with the maid,

OR, this is just what should’ve happened in the chapter when Mao saw Nanoka in that cute maid outfit. Just sayin.

Ok Here We Go!

My first offical set of my own inuyasha au artwork inspired by @artistefish 90s highschool au

This will be a long process cause I'm the slowest artist alive but I'm super excited!

This is all ment to be fun, I've been in the inuyasha fandom for about 2 years, I've loved all the stories and art and I want to try it myself

The first one is inuyasha, hes human in this au and is a total grunge/skater boy

Fun fact the kodama hes wearing is based of a necklace my dad gave me

Again I am SLOW! I have no idea how much I'll post but eh I'm just happy to finally get something out to my favorite fandom!

For this last week of the hell year that is 2020, I’d like to go back and share just how much I wrote this year to keep me going. And it just so happens that I wrote at least seven series in this past year. So, for each day until New Year’s I’ll make a post for each of them. Some will be long, some will be short, and I’ll post works twice because I like me some crossovers.

Mis. Anime...

Because sometimes there are too many different fandoms in the work.

First is Stupid Shenanigans, a silly, silly story in my Tales from Esmia AU, set during the war that happened during the story, focusing in on the small incidents in between the bigger battles.

Second is Spies and Sabotage, which is the angsty brother to the story above, same focus on smaller events, going into background for some of the spies for both sides, you know, that kind of thing.

Thirdish is The Winding Road, which focuses mostly on Saku/Syaro with smatterings of Ranma, Yugioh, Sailormoon, and other CLAMP works all in a simple story about finding love in unexpected places... like battle.

And to round it all up is 12 Days of X-mas, a story with many different fandoms, where they all go to a Chirstmas party and all the shenanagines therein.

Did a very disorganized short comic + fic based on @artistefish ‘s Rumic Fishing Town AU and with inspiration from @purpletiger15′s posts here and here (not letting me tag for some reason??)

Anyway, Yuta is really blindsided by being thought of as a father figure and has to go to his fellow immortal old man buddy to drink soda and think things over again

The July sun beating down on the partygoers went largely unnoticed as they laughed and talked, eating, drinking, and watching the children play. From his position under a large shade umbrella, barbeque kebab in hand, Yuta had a perfect view of the small sandy beach. This late into the summer heat, Lost Souls and mermaids—few and far between as they were—were not likely to seek out victims due to the hot weather. Still, it didn’t hurt to be on the lookout, Yuta knew from experience. On the other side of the beach, casually chatting with a gaggle of expecting mothers, Mana was also keeping an eye out for supernatural ne’er do wells; that, and for any wayward children swimming too far out into the gentle surf.

As if sensing his gaze, Mana looked up and made eye contact with Yuta. Even with his sunglasses on she seemed to meet his eyes perfectly. He just nodded slightly to indicate that all was well, and the corners of her mouth turned up faintly for a brief second before she turned back to the conversation and said something that sent all the other women into gales of laughter. Seeing that his partner was fine, Yuta turned his gaze in a new direction.

Immediately a smile touched his face as he spotted the third member of the lifeguard team. Shiori was skipping across the sand towards him, a slice of dripping watermelon in one hand, her brightly colored sundress fluttering in the breeze.

She barely had to lift so much as an arm as she approached because Yuta was already leaning down to pick her up. As he settled her weight onto one hip and arm, she took a bite of watermelon and wrapped her free arm around Yuta’s shoulder.

“How’s it going, cadet?” he asked.

She giggled around her mouthful of fruit. “The sand is hot and I got tired, that’s all.”

“No sign of trouble, hmm?” Yuta pressed, mock serious.

“None to report, captain!” Shiori said, imitating his serious tone; the effect was mitigated by her soft, sweet voice and the watermelon juice stains around her mouth.

Yuta stopped pretending to be stern and offered her the grilled skewer of meat and veggies. “Want some chicken?”

Shiori leaned forward bit off a piece, munching happily and looking out at the beach. For a while they didn’t talk, taking turns eating meat and veggies. In between bites, Shiori worked on her piece of watermelon. Some of the juice dripped onto Yuta’s arm and even on his shirt, but he didn’t mind. When they had finished eating everything, Yuta put the bamboo skewer and the melon rind onto a plate he’d picked up earlier, ready to be disposed of later on. Shiori rested her head on his should and yawned.

“You tuckered out already?” he teased gently, “It’s not even dark yet and we’ve got firecrackers and sparklers for later.”

“I know,” she said, sitting up again, “I’m just a little sleepy. It’s hard work to watch the other kids,” she added solemnly.

“And you’re doing a great job,” Yuta said, gently jostling her with his arm.  He smiled proudly at her. “You’re becoming a very good harbor guard.”

She beamed at him, a far cry from the very shy little girl she’d been when Yuta had first met her.

They stood watching the rest of the party for a bit longer, then Shiori noticed someone jogging up with a new ice chest. It was opened to reveal a treasure trove of ice cream, which the other children began to swarm towards eagerly. She turned to Yuta, eyes bright.

“Can I have some ice cream too, Papa, please?” she begged.

He chuckled. “Sure, I don’t see why—”

Papa.

Papa.

It took a moment for the word to sink in and suddenly Yuta felt his face go red as he sputtered and stumbled over his words.

Shiori frowned, “Are you okay?”

“Y-yeah I’m fine, I’m fine.” He cleared his throat and coughed. Gently he bent and lowered Shiori back to the ground. “Why don’t you go ask Mama-ah! I mean Mana! Go ask her.”

“Okay!” Without a backward glance, Shiori bounced away across the beach towards Mana.

Yuta turned his back on the beach and faced the ocean, patting his cheeks and trying to calm down. “It was just a fluke,” he muttered, “just a slip of the tongue.” When he thought his face wasn’t quite so red, he scooped up the trash and headed towards the main area of the party where the trash bags were. No one paid attention to him except for cheerful greetings, so he threw away his garbage, snagged a soda and went to sit down next to Mao.

The doctor turned a faintly curious gaze towards him but didn’t say anything.

Yuta sipped at his drink silently for a few moments, then sighed and said, “Mao… I think you were right.”

Mao looked at him blankly for a heartbeat, then turned to watch as Mana approached the ice cream cooler, hand in hand with Shiori. “Ah,” was all he said.

As Shiori mulled over which kind of ice cream to pick, Mana leaned over and nudged her. “Why don’t you get something for Papa? His favorite is vanilla.” Looking up, she smirked faintly at Yuta where he sat nursing his soda. It was about time he figured things out.

A/N: So more about the mermaid hunters au because is the best au for now, to present Mao and Nanoka to the Rumic gang, beside the future sequel of the time that time forgot.

Nanoka though that the strange adventure was over, they even managed to come back together to her era.

Everything was supposed to be over, they maybe weren’t normal or the curse wasn’t broken but at least they were together and weren’t alone now, it was a good opportunity to show Mao her world.

And as much as she didn’t want to admit, she was beginning to feel more than a simple friendship for him but what did he think of her?

She needed time to think, she said to her grandfather  that she will go on  a summer trip with her friends, she  felt bad for lying to him but she wanted to have time for herself for a while, Mao decided to follow her because he didn’t know this new place and because the bond they had  was strong enough to keep them together even if his whole life mission was over, she wanted to think that it was a good sign for her feelings but decided to not get her hopes up, since Tenko told her that he was so used to his loneliness.

The day when they were supposed to leave something happened, after Nanoka went to visit her parents grave with Mao at her side, they heard something that didn’t sound like a human being and they caught the smell of blood and both tensed up, he took her hand and she followed him.

“I thought you said this era was safe?!” 

“It is!” She said feeling something  following them” Normally is only bad people who want to rob you but other than that....” 

They heard several grows and Nanoka heard far away the sound of a...car?

They got out of the cemetery and Mao was already taking his sword out, there were two creatures coming towards them, they were big and their appearance made Nanoka felt ill, really big yellow eyes and the body looked like a big piece of muscular meat that was rotten, it had hands and legs.

They attacked them and both dodged it, Mao went to a vital point but the creature didn’t give in, Nanoka tried to gain the other creature attention so it couldn’t attack Mao, her fast legs working perfectly.

It all happened in a wink, she felt a hand on her back and the other one on her legs.

“That was close” Mao said as he carried her.

“Wha-”

“There was another one  behind you, Nanoka” Mao said still holding her as he jumped with a serious expression “These things don’t go down easily”

“What can we do then?”

A sound of a door was heard, footsteps sounded closer and both of them saw human silhouettes.

“Man, this is gonna be rough,” A male voice said and various persons appeared.

It was then that a battle began.

“My name is Yuta and  the girl besides me is Mana” The young man of  light brown skin said” We’re sorry that you witnessed something so dangerous”

Mao and Nanoka kept silent, after the battle of last night when they united  strength  with these strangers  to eliminate the strange creatures, they both knew that these group of persons  were abnormal.

“Both of you   managed to keep yourselves good against the lost souls” Yuta said” Did you fought  against something like this before?”

“Well, we had fought monsters before” Mao said calmly 

“How old are both of you?” Yuta said with a serious tone.

“Well Mao is 18 and I am 17″ Nanoka can feel already Mao’s sight on her, but what did he expect her to say? that he is more than a hundred?!

“Both of you are kids” Mana said with a soft voice.

“Why, why do kids these days have so many special abilities, what has come of this era?” Yuta felt tired.

“Is because I am not from this e-”

“You see, we were both going on a summer trip together before all this happened!”  Nanoka said nervously trying to change the subject as she put a hand on Mao's mouth before he could say more.

The other group of persons arrived at the time they heard  Mao and Nanoka ages.

“Both of you should come with us!!!”The brown-haired boy said with excitement in his eyes.

“Ataru I swear to god-” Yuta began.

“I’m  with Ataru, they seem pretty capable of helping us!” A black-haired girl backed up the other guy.

“Kagome, not you too”

“We’re you going to someplace? you can stay with us  if you want!” an Aquamarine haired girl said with  stars on her eyes

“Lum, stop this is not  a game-”

“Both of you must be part of the most awesome Monsters and youkais  hunter group, the Mermaid Hunters!” A pigtailed boy proudly said.

“Ranma I NEVER. agreed to that lame name!”

“You can come with us if you don’t have anything more to do” a Girl with beautiful violet eyes suggested.

 “Sakura don’t invite them, we had already so many people-”

“I am in then, I am quite  curious  about why those creatures exist, they aura felt really strange” Mao simply said and he looked at Nanoka” And you?”

“Well, yeah I am kinda worried after knowing that creatures like this exist in my era” Nanoka looked at the group” Is it okay for us to take your invitation?”

They spent the night camping, Nanoka talked with the girls about her big adventure after  they told her  about theirs the following nights, same with the guys, except that Mao kept in secret his real age for  Nanoka.

As the days passed they began to feel comfortable in the group, Nanoka felt happy to finally being honest with his new friends without feeling guilty or worried that they will call her crazy.

And Mao felt relaxed around the guys, their respective supernatural origins and strange abilities were enough for him to lose it up a bit, it was good to know that he isn’t the only one unfortunate, they were like him and it didn’t feel bad.
