Uttara Ashadha ☀️

I always admired the simple, unwavering confidence of this nakshatra and its natives, but over time it's become more and more clear how lonely this nakshatra truly is, and how it's okay with it. 🙂

Sun individuals, in particular, may feel this type of melancholic yet content loneliness. I have Uttara Phalguni ascendant, I know. I've come to observe that natives with nakshatras associated with sun(not just sun tuled nakshatras) tend to experience this, or at least, appear that way.

Sun is the planet of individualism and individuation. It sees the world through its own self-centered eyes, observing everything, shining its light indiscriminately on everything, but staying alone, away from it all.

Uttara Ashadha in particular is a very simplistic nakshatra, the simplest(in a good way), in my opinion. If you're familiar with the basic associations of nakshatras, the first words that might come to your mind when thinking of Uttara Ashadha are victory, invincibility, confidence... Uttara Ashadha is the only nakshatra that does not have a yoni consort(mongoose yoni), and is averse to everything that tries to tie it down or pull it in(those are the themes of saturn, sun's enemy planet, the force that demands obedience). That invincibily requires standing your ground and having the bravery and stability within yourself to go for insubordination, and the price you pay for it is loneliness. But then again, we are all alone, we are all individuals, and as long as you feel content with being alone, you are never lonely.

♉ Taurus ruling over the 5th house: Whenever I make plans with my friends, the to-do list is literally to eat and spend time in nature playing with flowers LOL

♈ 4th House Ruled by Aries: No one can tell me how to decorate my house, where to live, or what to do in general LOL it's all MY decisions and I go after what I want when I want BUT with Libra MC there's hellah people pleasing tendencies so it's a challenge.

♋ Mars in Cancer: Crying is as easy as breathing. Honestly, I've come to terms with this placement and see it as a gift now, especially as a woman. I don't make a move until my intuition and emotions have guided me to do so ~ it works out a lot better than forcing myself to do something.

♂️ Mars in 7th house: Aggressive sex and slapping, biting, and wrestling is definitely a thing with lovers. Also being first to initiate sex or romantic connections is a theme even as a feminine woman.

There are a few planets that rule over two signs in astrology. This is because Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were not integrated into astrology until the modern system. So, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars rule two signs in traditional astrology. Mercury rules two signs in both systems (although certain people consider Chiron the ruler of Virgo and not Mercury). In spite of this, there are differences in how the two signs express the same planet’s energy

MERCURY - Gemini and Virgo

Mercury is the planet of communication, thought processes and ideas. It is an intellectual energy. Through Gemini, we see it manifest as a scattered mindset, quick thinking, the ability to jump from one idea or concept to the next. Gemini is an Air sign and Mercury is remarkably breezy and unpredictable via Gemini. Through Virgo, Mercury becomes systematic and orderly. Its logic takes form in a very grounded fashion, since Virgo is an Earth sign. It is about establishing rationale through routine, efficiency, and problem solving. Yet, both signs can exhibit the duality of Mercury in their own way.
