i mean the truth is that we do not need and should not have all this stupid plastic clutter in or houses. no one should be producing or selling this shit. everyone make your own merchandise and charge a living hourly wage to sell it 🤷 sorry to be so simplistic about this but it's one of the results of the lack of class unity specifically in the means of production-owning creative class, who is not mentioned or dealt with by the core Marxist texts as far as I know (i asked about this earlier on here, did marx ever address in his analysis people like, for example, a professional photographer who owns a camera ans prints his own dagguereotypes? or a portrait painter or idk, independent milliner or seamstress? these people all own the means of production and do not employ anyone, and the answer from better educated people than I was that no, Marx didn't mention them), I'm not well read on this at all, there is just a big void where leftist analysis of what modern economists call "the creative class"
I'm getting off topic. my point is make your own keychains in your kitchen. it's actually not hard. you can even mass produce (on a small scale) little plastic crap if you want, with resin and a UV lamp, or a 3d printer, or a laser cutter and acrylic sheets (or just use balsa wood damn, at least its biodegradable and less tacky).
all this stuff is available to little creators AND there are hundreds of people who already own these machines who will take work for you and produce your designs. you just have to actually find them and know them and email them. that's what I mean about the class unity issue with creatives. we have no large scale union, we have no large scale class consciousness, and we're all sending our orders for little plastic crap to sweatshops instead of emailing a guy with a laser cutter in his garage and saying "hey Keith can I get uhhhhhhhhhhh 50 laser cut keychains of this twerking Diggler design I made, like how much would that cost" and he's like sure here's the work and materials cost and tbh it's always always less than i think it's going to be. you just have to do some basic arithmetic and then order shipping, and I hate order fulfillment with my life but you can actually pay or barter with someone to do that for you too. learn to delegate and then factor that into your unit cost. this is basic shit every commercial creator needs to know. they should teach you this in art school but they dont
don't give me crap about "I can't afford a laser cutter" either because I just told you to email Keith. and all these machines get sold secondhand when a manufacturer or hobbyist needs to upgrade. i got a color laser printer perfect for making zines and wheatpastes and shipping labels from a retired lesbian on capital hill for $75 and it was still full of ink. my friend gave me her 20 year old canon dslr because she just didn't need it and didn't want to bother selling it. it works fine because I spent the time finding the right drivers and shit for my computer. and card readers exist. Craigslist. Facebook marketplace. nextdoor sales section. eBay. everyone always forgets eBay. eBay lets you save searches and will email you when it finds a guy selling his vinyl plotter in your city with local pickup. I'm serious

Given that Belobog is so full of snow, I'm kinda sad we never get to see any snowmen anywhere. Like that would have made for such a cute bg decoration!
And I think it would be especially funny for Sampo to make them, not out of pure, innocent whimsy and joy, but like specifically to be a menace smzhnsjd
Like Gepard keeps finding little snowmen out around the frontlines. And normally he would just turn a blind eye to this like he does with other things (like the shitty amateur distillery no one thinks he knows about); war sucks, their own damn leader is trying to kill them and Gepard is treading water just trying to keep Cocolia from using his guards as cannon fodder. If his soldiers want to make some snowmen in their downtime, then they should be allowed that. God knows they've earned it.
BUT SOMEONE IS MAKING SNOWMEN THAT LOOK LIKE HIM, DAMMIT!!!
Gepard keeps finding them down the back alleys and more hidden parts of the frontlines! And they all have the same grumpy little face, with blue-painted rocks for eyes and sometimes even gold-colored bullet casings for hair! And he knows who it is the second he finds another little blue haired, green eyed snowman next to it! Fuckin' Koski is sneaking in here, and easily enough that he has the time to taunt him!
Gepard once found a little Snow Geppie with angry eyebrows and red roses stuck in its blushing cheeks that was handcuffed to a weapons rack, which was when he realized someone had pickpocketed his handcuffs. He punches the head clean off the little Snow Sampo nearby, only to discover that it is also holding his wallet, minus all the shield he'd had in it that morning. Gepard kicks it for good measure.
One time he found a little Snow Sampo offering roses to a little Snow Geppie, and he quickly knocked those over too before anyone else could see them or his red face. He swears he can feel Sampo snickering and mocking him nearby.
Sometimes, Gepard finds little Snow Sampos with tiny sacks thrown over their shoulders, all filled with items that are SUPPOSED to be in the depths of the guarded Silvermane storehouses. Sampo technically isn't even stealing anything, he's just showing Gepard that he could if he wanted to, and poor Gepard is going to pop an aneurysm.
Pela: Good morning, Captain. Have you been outside of your tent yet?
Gepard: No. ....Why.
Pela: No reason. Say, have you heard of any break ins recently?
Gepard: No, why.
And Pela holds open the tent flap and there's a ton of tiny little Silvermane Guards snowmen in tight neat rows, all with their little stick arms up in salute, and each one with an actual, stolen official helmet-mask.
Pela: You run a real tight ship out here, huh.
Gepard: (looooong weary muffled sigh as he drags a hand down his face)

twelve year old youtube tutorial that says you can buy a 10oz tube of silicone caulk for $3
#I'll probably just invest in a trial kit of actual liquid rubber#because at this point that costs about the same as a tube of caulk and a gun... with the added benefit of it's actually for making molds

She/Him Sculpture by Gora Donovan, 2024
"This is not just a statement of my gender, it is a love letter."
This is my favorite thing I've made all semester and words cannot properly describe the joy I feel looking at it.
The road to it was a masissive headache; we even had to break the shell of the mold to get it out - but, God, was it worth it!
For anyone curious it's a plaster cast of a rubber mold I made.

Ok I finally have enough energy and time to explain the mold story in depth cause I’ve just been passing through the days (I will include a photo of the second pop tart for imagery so moldy food tw);
First up, to make the story worse(yea it gets worse) it was cookies and cream and the mold was pretty visible because it was black mold on white icing, it also tasted horrible every time I took a bite yet I continued to eat it, I very much questioned the big black spot on it but I’m used to being paranoid about everything so I shrugged it off, also, I literally have issues with food and yet I ate a moldy pop tart.
I got it on a shopping trip with my mom, and she explicitly told me to not get it because too many things can go wrong with off-brand and also it’s just not good. Yet I got it. She was insanely right.
Also I didn’t notice it was moldy until three hours later when I looked at the second pop tart I had saved for later closer, and I had to ask my mom if it was moldy, and she just laughed at me cause, it was pretty obviously moldy.
To top it off absolutely nothing happened to me, I had maybe a tiny stomach ache and I even considered eating the second one knowing it was moldy, cause I really wanted a pop tart what can I say
I still haven’t gotten a pop tart that isn’t moldy and is really tasty, I was deprived of pop tarts growing up so I will immediately rush to the first chance at a pop tart, even if it’s probably not safe
And here is the uneaten pop tart, the mold on the other was worse
This entire story basically sums up a lot about me
I went to the dollar general with five dollars and got some off brand pop tarts, ate one and decided it tasted weird. So I set the other aside, came back to it a couple of hours later and realized it had black mold on it, like a lot of it. So in case I end up with a not so bright fate, I would like to know what creature I get!

#the story of the moldy offbrand pop tart continues#mold follows my life pretty closely ngl#I accidentally grew mold in rubber ware like 20 times as a child#I wasn’t even storing food in them#I was making concoctions of leaves sticks and bread#now I wonder if mold just calls to me as a person#am I just naturally a mold person#tw mold

Molded Rubber Bellows vs. Extruded Bellows: Which Option Is Better?
Rubber bellows are one of the most important parts in most industries for sealing and cushioning purposes. They prevent machinery and systems from dust, dirt, moisture, and other external contamination. They are flexible and, therefore, often expandable to make room for movement. Various forms of bellows can be found, including the molded rubber bellows and the extruded rubber bellows. Both types are unique in themselves, offering advantages that a user or manufacturer may opt for between them based on cost, applications, and sometimes manufacturing necessity.
This article will draw comparisons between the molded rubber bellows and extruded bellows to clarify which one fits better according to specific conditions. We will also explore molded rubber bellows manufacturers who can provide information on what they can do and the quality of rubber bellows they can deliver.
Role of Molded Rubber Bellows Manufacturers
When selecting a molded rubber bellows manufacturer, consider the following factors:
Experience: Look for those manufacturers with a proven history of manufacturing high-quality molded rubber bellows for all kinds of industries.
Capabilities: Be sure the manufacturer has technical capabilities and equipment to make your needs: custom design and special shapes.
Material Options: Find a supplier that has multiple types of materials that might fit the environmental and performance needs of your specific application.
Design Support: Find manufacturers who can help at the design stage to be sure that the bellows will meet all functional and performance specifications.
Customer Support: Select the manufacturer that offers strong customer support such as design assistance, technical guidance, and after-sales services.
Key Differences Between Molded Rubber Bellows and Extruded Rubber Bellows
Manufacturing Process: The rubber bellows are molded using the injection of rubber into a mold and curing. The extruded bellows are formed by forcing the rubber through a die to create a continuous shape and then cutting it to size.
Custom design: Molded bellows provide more flexibility for the type of custom designs which include intricate folds, ribs, and specific shapes. Extruded bellows have fewer complexities in design.
Flexibility: Molded rubber bellows are relatively more flexible since they have a very complex structure. Extruded bellows, on the other hand, have a more stiffer and less flexible configuration.
Cost and Speed: The production of extruded bellows is fast and cheap. In contrast, for the molded bellows, a lot of time and investments are involved because of its extremely complex manufacturing process.
Application: Extruded bellows are used when simpler and less demanding jobs are in order. Molded rubber bellows are most appropriately suited for custom, high-performance applications.
How Rubber Bellows Dust Boots Enhance Equipment Longevity?
Rubber bellows dust boots are essential for the elongation of equipment and machinery lifespan. They are designed to safeguard sensitive components, such as joints, shafts, and rods, from contaminants such as dirt, dust, moisture, and debris. The creation of a secure seal prevents abrasive particles from entering and causing wear or corrosion.
These bellows dust boots also absorb vibrations and are flexible, so movement is smooth without causing damage to parts. These boots are very essential for heavy-duty applications in automotive and industrial equipment and agricultural equipment on account of their durability and resistance to difficult environmental conditions. Properly cared for, these boots minimize the need for maintenance, minimize downtime, and ensure that equipment functions at its best level.
Benefits of Using Flexible Rubber Bellows
Protection from Contaminants: Rubber bellows protect the machinery from dust, dirt, moisture, or any other debris that would interrupt its smooth operation.
Flexibility: In these bellows, the parts can move dynamically such as through compression, expansion, and angular deflection without performance degrading.
Vibration Absorption: They also dampen vibrations and reduce noise, thus preventing machinery damage.
Improved Durability: Strong materials make them endure in tough environments, ensuring equipment lasts longer.
Temperature Resistance: They have good resistance in extreme temperatures, hence it is useful in several industries.
Customizability: They are also highly flexible to suit various shapes, sizes, and material needs for particular applications.
At Custom Rubber Bellows, we provide high-quality rubber products specifically designed according to your specifications at Custom Rubber Bellows. These include rubber-molded bellows, dust boots for rubber bellows, and flexible rubber bellows, made to deliver optimal performance and long-lasting durability. With protecting machinery parts, flexibility with any possible movement, or just an application for a custom rubber product, if there is a need for a procedure that you require, then we won't let you down. Our products using quality materials and advanced manufacturing techniques are designed to perform properly in the toughest environments without compromising long-term reliability. We provide you with innovative affordable solutions for improving the performance of your equipment within the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries.
Looking for expertly crafted rubber bellows? We specialize in custom manufacturing tailored to your needs. Want to learn more? Give us a call at (647) 294-5240!
In summary, there are two types of molded rubber and extruded bellows that exist in industries, but it will be more so dependent on what fits your requirements. Molded rubber bellows are known for their exceptional flexibility and durability and are suited to complex and demanding uses. On the other side of the spectrum, there is the extruded variety that is cost-effective as well as quicker in terms of manufacturing when less complicated applications come into play. Thus, the best will be selected based on your conditions and budget for the application involved. Moreover, you obtain quality products that meet your requirements by partnering with experienced molded rubber bellows manufacturers.
