Undertale/Deltarune FanComics

I put out a post for some UTDR comic recs, and I've decided to compile them all here, both so that I can easily access them as I make my way through, and also so that anyone else who is interested in it can also check it out :D I've provided brief descriptions next the ones I could uh quickly find descriptions for or knew personally, so if you notice one you know that's lacking a descriptions, tell me and I'll add it.

Sokeefe Week 2024 Prompts!

Sokeefe Week begins on January 1st and ends on January 7th, but creations will still be accepted and compiled for months after the date!

Prompts:

Day One: Royalty

This is a good day for soldier/poet/king in any combination, if you are so inclined. Thief, rebellion, bodyguard/knight, servant, arranged marriage/alliance, ball/cotillion/coronation, whatever you please!

Day Two: Escape/Return

Maybe Keefe is running away, or maybe you’re exploring a swap where Sophie does instead. Maybe it’s literal, or maybe they’re finding an escape in each other, or something else. Secret hideouts, Unlocked/Stellarlune fix-it, prison break, breakup/second chance, anything you want! Escape can be about running away, cowardice, terror, or acceptance. It’s about leaving, but can also be about coming back.

Day Three: Meet-Cute

First date (blind date?) or coffeeshop au, maybe their friends introduce them in college or school or work, same class first day of school, or even a rewrite of the canon first meeting?

Day Four: Enemies

Rivals in school or work, competing cafes or stores or businesses, opposites attract, born and altered and raised to hate, Neverseen vs Black Swan... you could probably slip some soulmate action in here too.

Day Five: Lies/Truth

Think about foundations. This is a good day to explore childhood, confessions, and secrets— all of which Keefe and Sophie have in multitude. Tearful or sweet or angry, this day can be about broken promises and kept ones. Growth and stagnation: two things that very clearly define our lovely ship.

Day Six: Fix-It

Is there a scene in canon that doesn’t fit? The characters don’t feel right, the scene is slightly off, the situation isn’t realistic? This could apply to any time Sophie and Keefe have a scene together or any time they didn’t: what can you change to explore new possibilities?

Day Seven: Free Day

Whatever you didn’t do before, do now! The possibilities are endless: soulmates, tattoo artist/flowershop, artist/musician, nightmares/dreams, cowboys, mermaids/pirates, mythology au, historical au, crossover fic, injuries, healing, dragons/shapeshifting, switched bodies or abilities, human au, college roommates, and anything else that comes to mind!

The f1crecs blog is currently run by a team of nine fic rec'ing wizards. We love maintaining the blog, but as time goes on and things pop up, we have found ourselves needing a bit more help.

We are therefore looking for 1 - 5 more people to help us with the research, requesting, and formatting of lists.

What would I be doing?

You would be putting forward fics to include on the fic rec lists on the @f1crecs blog, based on a given prompt. This could be a pairing (maxiel/piarles/strollonso) or a trope (soulmates/coffee shop au/canon divergence). This would include you selecting a favourite quote from the fic or a brief summary of why you enjoyed it. You could also help with finding fics, formatting posts, answering asks, or curating specific list types (e.g., WIP wednesday or 'megaverse Monday).

How would it work?

🔸️ You will join the f1crecs Discord Server.

🔸️ We receive requests for rec lists through the blog's inbox, and share them in the Discord server.

🔸️ We have channels to work together to compile the lists.

🔸️ We decide together on a banner image and any other text needed.

🔸️ We format the post and publish to the blog, crediting you in the body of the post.

🔸️ We work on five or so requests at a time, dependent on numbers.

What pairings do you need help with?

All of them! I am looking for support with all pairings and tropes - I believe that rec blogs are stronger when run by a team, as they have more eyes and are less likely to forget or miss something. 😊

Important Points

I ask for permission from EVERY author that I want to feature on a fic rec list. By joining the blog team, you would agree to do the same. If we are not given permission to list the fic, or if the author does not respond within one week of our request, the fic does not get included on the list (or any future list). You will be given a template to make these requests, to make this easier. 🥰

When compiling the lists, I include my favourite quote from the fic or a couple of sentences about why I enjoyed it. Please consider if this is something you'd be willing to do.

We have all kinds of pairings and character requests come through to the inbox. f1crecs is a neutral space, with no driver, ship, or trope hate allowed.

This blog is f1 only. At least one person in the pairing must be, or have been, in f1 - or, if gen, the central character must be or have been in f1.

TMKATI au assorted ask:

I apologise for the lack of updates on "The Monkey King and the Infant" as I've been in college/getting my first real job. So I decided to compile some related asks together to answer some questions. I hope to throw together a true timeline soon when I have the time.

Short questions that I can answer quickly:

LBD ultimately wants the Harbringer (aka MK) to act as her weapon to create a new world. The Bone Mech is merely a suit of armor for her champion. She specifically allows Macaque to be revived/surface in order to catch the Comet and bring the Harbringer's Egg to her. This plan ofc doesn't go as planned due to the Egg cracking upon hitting the ground + Wukong being there. But LBD can plan around unexpected deviations.

The Scroll of Memory *does* occur in the TMKATI au, though the events surrounding it are much different. Namely the inclusion of Chenxiang - grand nephew of the Jade Emperor and Wukong's first ever student. I've altered the timeline a bit so Chenxiang (perma-stuck as a damaged teenager) only shows up post-S3 for Reasons. Namely that involving Erlang Shen...

MK will be in danger during the events of the fic, and will need his friends and family to step in to save their boy. Namely during S3. Thats all I willl say.

Haha! Basically the shadowpeach monkeys are the Incredibles of demonic demogods. Just wanting to stay out of trouble and raise their kids. Pretty much imagine if their S4 finale outfits were their defaults.

Due to the population of Monkey demons mostly fleeing FFM in the aftermath of the Burning + incorporating into existing villages, the island is pretty much a deserted kingdom with only Wukong there to mind it outside of yearly pilgrimages or festivals. Wukong prefers it this way since in his mind it keeps everyone safe from the eyes of Heaven. By the later parts of TMKATI him and Macaque begin to step up as rulers once more with the threat of LBD, the Brotherhood, and others on the horizon.

MK and the kiddos are a little flumoxed ofc, since they go from being the kids of a noodle shop worker and a threatre actor to literal demon royalty over the course of the series.

Louis is a very anxious person, making it hard for him to talk, so he’s very shy when he inevitably scam calls Harry. Harry ignores the scamming, but after a certain number of calls, he’s had enough. Here ensues mean Harry at the beginning, sensitive Louis who doesn’t know what is going on half of the time, and if the author is up for it, autism-coded Louis too!

It is very hard to pick a favorite fic--like picking a favorite kid! I feel that my writing has improved since writing Bucky Barnes and his 1001 fetishes (or at least a few of them) and The Commander's Omega otherwise I might pick one of those.

I think I might choose the "Alpha, Beta, Omega" series, which is ongoing and depicts alpha Steve, beta Bucky (and in some of them, their omega Nora) in an Edwardian royalty AU, at different points in their 10+ year marriage. And if I had to pick just one from the collection, it'd be the fic Alpha, Beta (& Omega) which is the first fic in the series, chronologically-speaking, and also the longest.

[If you're trying to compile more m/f "reader" type stuff, then I'd say Happy Little Family, even though there's only 2 chapter to that one so far.]

Synopsis: you were not the type to believe in the existence of love. until you had to spend the rest of your summer with a distant relative whom you’ve never met your entire life, in small town with an ocean view, where fate had brought you a boy whose eyes shine brighter than any stars in the night sky. and maybe, just maybe, love does exist.

What they said about the fic: Perfect to fall in love with summer! The vibe of it is nostalgic, soft and serene. Whenever I need comfort in my life, I always go back to this one.

Reading it with rosé's cover of the only exception is how I fell in love with summer. It has such warmth and wholesome way of describing things like eating watermelons with him, how he has a bicycle named chieko, cliffs, walking beside the sea barefoot, bonfires. It all feels like a perfect dream to never wake up to.

The characters are all written beautifully. Specially beomgyu, for me it highlights his personality the best. With accurate details like his parrot toto, him being a menace but a boy everyone loves, his coming back to y/n one night to seek comfort, him writing a song for y/n with his guitar. It's filled with beomgyuesque details! One of my favourite lines from the fic is 'He smells like summer' .

In a nutshell, a really good read. If I could only go back to read it for the first time again - I'd be the happiest.

haha, I actually haven't posted all that much about it I guess! I have a problem with thinking extensively about stuff and not posting. the gist of it is leadership is passed down through blood, not by deputies! I've thought about a lot from into the wild up to like oots (and a tiny bit after) like for example: bluestar is leader as per usual, but when tigerstar betrays her she loses it a bit and says that whitestorm wont be leader when she dies, fireheart will. there's a lot of changes with succession and stuff. I've changed so much honestly and am always down to talk about it if anyone has specific questions about how certain plots play out in this au :3
