Royal Photographic Society U.K.’s International Photography Exhibition (IPE) is the world’s oldest and perhaps the most prominent  photo show in the world. Held continuously from almost the time of the birth of photography (they took a break during the World Wars), it has featured many little  known photographers who subsequently rose to prominence including a few pioneers who are required viewing for anyone training in the photographic art form. IPE’s 2022 edition i.e. IPE 163  features 57 photographers chosen anonymously from 3,944 photographers from 114 countries, and over 8000 image submissions. The images selected by an eminent jury will open in a group show at Royal Photography Society Gallery in April 2022 before traveling to other venues across the UK including the Museum of Gloucester in 2023.
