Royal Albatross: "they are some of the largest birds on the planet and have super interesting behaviors! they communicate with a mix of beak-clacking and vocalizations. they mate for life and have very intricate courtship rituals. they don't really have any naturally occuring land predators and so they are very sociable and friendly both with humans and other albatrosses. they can take up to 10 years to reach maturity and only have one baby each breeding season after that. they can live for a super long time, the oldest known banded bird being an albatross named wisdom who is at least 70 years old!"

I've been really captivated by the royal albatross nest cam live stream

I mean, look at this little guy, he's just a fluffy loaf with a big beak

He just hangs out in his nest being cute and getting fed. Occasionally, he plays with a stick (see above).

He's very talkative when his folks come round to feed him.

He can't fly yet but makes some good effort stretching his big floofy wings

Royal Aircraft Factory FE8s engaging Albatros D-IIs in Nov 1916. The FE8 was flown operationally in France from Oct 1916 to July 1917. Although nearly 300 were built, only two RFC squadrons, Nos 40 & 41, were fully equipped with the type.

Is Albatross able to interact with the real world (can he touch Turtle, can he smell things) or is he doomed to make snarky commentary forever?

He cant interact with most things, If he were to touch someone they would feel a bit of a chill but nothing "odd" or clear enough to be registered as the touch of another dragon He cant smell, physically feel, or taste things He also cant wonder far away from Turtle, after all his soul was re-awakened and bound to Turtle As for the comments? He warms up to Turtle and is actually quite nice to him, his intentions are good. Tho his actions arnt always pure of heart- they get the job done the fastest
