Wasn't Believix like an downgrade? Like what happened with the fairy dust?
I am not a huge fan of the fairy dust. It seems to be able to undo almost everything unless it's something that we don't want to be undone too quickly (like the spell of the four elements). There are no actual rules set to how it works and how much it can do. It feels like a cop out tbh.
I think Believix has a lot of potential but the execution was just so poor. It could have easily been an upgrade from Enchantix but the way they earn it and use it just didn't utilize everything that the concept had to offer.
First of all, having to make people believe in magic to earn it raises all kinds of question marks. It's just too convenient for the plot. I mean, how many planets are there in the Magic Dimension whose inhabitants don't believe in magic? That's a weird requirement for a transformation. Second of all, the way that they use their powers to basically brainwash people into believing in magic is also extremely questionable and actively contradicts and undermines the very premise of the Believix transformation.
It would have been a much better progression for the plot and characters if the way to earn Believix was to make the people believe in you, in your abilities and in your intentions. This could have some weird implications as well but three of the Winx girls are princesses and will be leaders of their planets one day. Having them prove themselves in such a way, even to people from another planet, would have perfectly set them up for their roles in the future. And Tecna, Musa and Flora have a lot to offer as Guardian Fairies as well. It would have been a way to let the Winx continue to grow and become more mature and responsible.
The designs certainly are a downgrade but I think they did it like that because they didn't want Roxy to look too different from the Winx, which was just... an outright mistake. Even if the plan was for her to be the seventh Winx, they should have highlighted that she's different. That way we'd be able to see how far the Winx have come. And if they wanted her to be able to match them in power somewhat by the end of the season, they could have simply explained that Earth fairies' magic works differently, especially now that it's basically been reinvented as the fairies came back from their imprisonment.
Again, lots of potential but really bad execution. Which is true for almost all of the later Winx seasons (and some parts of the first three seasons).

Winx Club Hot Take 3!
What was the point of introducing Roxy in Season 4 and giving her a prominent role if we were just ultimately deciding to give her little to nothing in the later seasons?! Why couldn't she help in Season 5 and earn Sirenix too since she quickly got Believix? Why couldn't she help defeat Selina in Season 6? Why couldn't she be more of use in Season 7? She's the fairy of animals! Season 7 was all about nature and ANIMALS!!! I don't even think she appeared in Season 8! She could've been a great seventh member of the Winx Club! Roxy deserved better!

Project Beyond Alphea
A couple of days back, i asked you guys if you would be interested in seeing an expansion of my Winx AU in the form of a youtube channel.
Unfortunately, i will not be doing that as it would require a lot of time and energy and i think that i would burn out pretty quickly. However, what i will be doing is sharing my charather designs and plot points on Tumblr in the form of original drawings, screenshot redraws and moodboards ( but that not really ) on tumblr and maybe even instagram !
So what i will be covering is a complete overhaul of Winx canon starting from Secret of the Lost Kingdom to ( hopefully ) Season 6 of the series.
What readers can expect from this is lots of world-building, charather development, further involvement and expansion on lesser but still important charathers such as The company of light, Daphnee, The Earth fairies, Mirta and Lucy and many more.
Roxy will also be reinstated as the seventh winx, but her backstory will be rewritten because i do believe that it has quite a few questionable plot holes.
The specialists will also be further charatherization and backstories, as they are also important members of the winx. Their relationships will also improve and some may even...break up.
So uh, yeah :D. Im excited

Roxy, or The tragedy of being a background character in your own story
Ok, let’stalk about our new “main” girlie. She is sometimes introduced as the seventh Winx and among fans, it is generally agreed, that Roxy gets severely sidelined in the coming seasons and never really becomes part of the main squad. I don’t think that was ever intended for her, especially considering how this season plays out. I think she was supposed to be introduced as a bridge between the OG Winx and a new Alfea group, maybe with the OG characters popping up here and there as cameos.
Don’t get me wrong, I do like Roxy and I like what her character could have been. I don’t personally think it would make sense for her to become the seventh Winx, because she is…well the timeline is unclear, but anywhere between 3 to 5 years younger than the Winx. They already graduated Alfea. Roxy is sixteen and only just this season discovers her powers and has so much yet to learn and to grow, and that’s fine. That is potential right there. Like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that she was supposed to be the main girlie of the new Alfea generation. Alas, that did not happen, so let’s look at what we got this season.
Roxy grew up on Earth, believing she is a normal teenager, and then she suddenly finds out that she is a fairy, and that magic is real. This mirrors Blooms introduction from the first season, but in contrast to Bloom, Roxy is immediately hunted by enormously powerful villains (or at least we think so until they develop their sad piece of toast syndrome). From the first moment, she is drawn into this conflict between ancient fairy hunters and powerful older fairies. My point is, she is thrown into a dangerous and harrowing situation right from the start. She has no time to enjoy or really discover her powers, or the Magical Dimension, before some asshole wants to rip it straight out of her fingers again. Or…straight from her back I guess. All she experiences as a fairy is threats and danger and fear for her life and her loved ones, not really any positives at all, so I think her struggle with this new identity makes sense. She is overwhelmed and scared.
The way it is introduced to us, however, does not work imo. At the point all this happens in Episodes 6 and 7, we don’t know Roxy yet, she just got introduced that episode. Sure, she showed up here and there in little scenes and to the audience it’s clear that she is the last fairy the Winx are looking for, but during these we don’t see her character. We don’t spend any time with her so that, when these big character moments happen, it just doesn’t land. It seems to be coming out of nowhere and they seem almost comical set against new Winx transformations and the villains ridiculous monologuing.
If we contrast Roxy’s introduction with Blooms the difference becomes even more jarring. In the first episode of season 1, we spend a good amount of time with Bloom before she even meets Stella, so we get to know her a little. And it takes yet another few episodes for Bloom to reach a point where she has an internal crisis on the scale that Roxy has right at the start of her arc, and by that time we know Bloom and we care for her. Roxy never gets the same treatment in the writing. I wonder whether it was ever discussed in the development stage of this season, if it wouldn’t be better to tell the story out of Roxy’s perspective. The way I see it, that would make more sense narratively. But I guess they didn’t want to give up the brand recognition of the main six.
So after the initial introduction, Roxy get’s possessed by an evil fairy in Episode 9. That doesn’t make her think favourably of fairies either and I think that makes total sense. After her first transformation, in Episodes 12 and 13, we have the same problem of her experiencing big emotional moments, we don’t really have any context for, because we still haven’t really spent any time with her and gotten to know her. She just seems to fade into the background when she’s not in one of those big moments, because there is so much going on and there’s so much focus on the Winx and their various dramas and the Love & Pet shop and the Rock Band, there’s no time dedicated to getting to know Roxy better and she seemingly gets over these issues as quickly as they came up. Sometimes she’ll have a line like “Maybe I can still be a regular girl while being a fairy.”, which is supposed to remind us of her character conflict and…show progress I guess?
In the last third of the season her struggle is almost completely dropped. Roxy gets telepathic messages from Morgana and it’s uncomfortable for her, and intrusive. And then she has to discover that her ancestors, the people whose culture she shares and that might help her with her new fairy identity, turn out to be genocidal maniacs and want to destroy humanity, her home, her friends and family. And then she also discovers that she is the direct descendent from the leader of these people, the fairy queen. And without any real resolution for her different struggles, at the end, she embraces her identity and that’s just…the end for her.
There’s the illusion of character development, but really it’s just randomly pieced together moments. We lack the connective tissue between the big important beats. So they don’t have the impact they could have because Roxy as a character is still not that important to us. I feel like there should have been way more emphasis on Roxy’s journey, generally this season, but especially in the later third. She is just…sort of there. In the background. While all the action and conflict falls to Bloom. Roxy doesn’t take up centre stage in a conflict, that affects her the most of all the characters. The Wizards are after her, they destroyed her people and try to do so again. Her mother wants to destroy humanity. The Winx should be in the background because the only one with real personal stakes this season is Roxy. I think, if Bloom had taken a back seat, and not been so “uwu I’m the perfectest main protagonist and speech at you to resolve the conflict”, this season could have been really compelling. Bloom should have taken up the role of big sister and mentor for Roxy, like Daphne was for her.
Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I’m annoyed that this wasn’t Roxy’s season right from the start and we still faffed around at Alfea and had to sit through all the other distractions. And I’m annoyed that they didn’t even take Roxy to Magix so she could see what it really means to be part of that world.

First we have teasers for New York Comic Con:
From October 12 to 15, we are waiting for you at booth 3154 with tons of news.
This year the New York Comic Con is under the sign of Winx! From October 12 to 15, we are waiting for you at booth 3154 with tons of news. New official Winx Club merchandise, like pins, totes, hoodies and more The limited edition Winx Club x Papercutz Comic Book (only available at NYCC) Wings to become a fairy and share the magic with your Winx Squad Giveaways, a photo corner, and loads of surprises and magic! Plus, don't miss the exclusive pre-recorded interview with Iginio Straffi, creator of Winx Club, during the panel with Mad Cave Studios on October 14, to discover more about the upcoming graphic novel series. Join us in the Magical Dimension!
Merchandise where? The redbubble clone or could Rainbow finally be making another try for the American merch market? We can only hope!
I bet the limited edition comic book is a teaser for whatever this comic turns out to be. The interesting thing is that Papercutz and Mad Cave are both publishers, separate publishers. So we’ve got two companies doing Winx comics, one that seems more kids’ books oriented and one that seems more teen oriented. Don’t know yet if they’ll be doing reprints of the comics, new comics, Fate, or all of the above, but we’ve got two publishers doing it and that is good news!
Hopefully someone comes through with a report for the fans next month!
And then there’s a mysterious leaked image.
On the right is the image we’ve seen before, Bloom versus Ogron with dragons.
In the middle… I see the Trix, I see probably Bloom, Stella and maybe Flora or Aisha. But who’s that in the middle? Gives off Dark Sirenix vibes but it looks like a dude. More Wizards of the Black Circle? Riven evil again? Jim hopping over into the main canon? At this point, who can say!
And then there’s the picture on the left. It’s definitely the girls… hang on, who’s that second from the left? Stealing the spotlight from Stella, who seems to have become an albino and faded into the background completely.
This is the Winx fandom, where faking leaks is just A Thing. So I don’t really think Rainbow went for a seventh Winx and decided to import Terra instead of sticking with Roxy. It’s gotta be Terra, right? Curves and brown hair? And Straffi at least pretends to like Fate and have hopes for more of it so it’s vaguely possible he’d want to import Fate’s OC? Nah, I don’t buy it. The show struggles to give six characters enough attention, I don’t believe they’d bring in another one.
But maybe I’m wrong! We’ll have to wait and see!

Clearing up confusion: World of Winx
In my recent years of being in the Winx fandom, I’ve seen many people struggle to make sense of World of Winx and it’s relation to the main show.
I thought I’d help out a bit by answering some of the main questions about WoW.
1. In season 4 of Winx Club, the Winx revealed the existence of fairies to all the humans on Earth, so why do they need to hide it now?
World of Winx is a spin-off. That means it is not canon to the main series, nor is the main series canon to WoW. It is all happening in seperate universes.
In the WoW universe, humans still don’t know fairies exist, and the Winx don’t want to risk blowing their cover due to potential danger.
2. What happened to the Magic dimension?
So, there’s no sign of the MD’s existence in WoW. In fact, it is never mentioned where the girls come from. It could be argued that it’s a bit of a plothole, but unlike in the main show, the girls’ origins don’t play a role in the storyline.
It is however implied that the girls at the very least are not from Earth. As Flora says in the first episode, I quote: “We need to get used to passing as normal girls”. This implies that the girls are obviously not used to living the lives of humans.
Also, they’re fairies. So, yeah.
3. Why is Roxy there? And why aren’t the specialists?
These were just choices made by the producers. Roxy is there to occasionally help the Winx out with their missions. As shown in season 1 especially, she sort of acts as a seventh pair of eyes to the Winx, keeping her eye on anything suspicious and notifying the Winx of such.
As for the specialists, they just weren’t relevant enough to become part of WoW. I personally don’t mind it, as it shows just how capable the Winx are without men. This show also focuses on showing each Winx’ strength and potential in a way I wished the main show did. (I’ll do another post on this)
6. But the comics say the two shows are connected. Why?
The Winx Club comics are not canon to the main show nor World of Winx. I get that it’s confusing, since most of the events that happen in the shows are actually canon to the comics. The comics are just further promotion and expansion of the Winx franchise.
Don’t look too much into it.
5. Why did World of Winx get cancelled?
Let me know when you get answers. The way they left us on a cliffhanger is a crime in my book.
There have been some rumors about a third season in the works, but take it with a grain of salt. Don’t believe anything but an official confirmation by Rainbow or Netflix.
6. Why does WoW even exist?
The main series started off targeted towards older kids and teens, however, it changed after Rainbow signed a deal with Nickelodeon. Due to misunderstandings and miscommunication, the show’s target demographic lowered to suit the likes of smaller children, which threw a lot of people off.
Many fans speculate that Rainbow realized this, and worked with Netflix to create World of Winx to give something to reattract the original target audience of the first 3-4 seasons of the main show.
This is just a theory! There is no official confirmation.
Hope this helped!

Mirta, Galatea, Nova and Krystal join Alfea in the same year and share a dorm. They become a great friend group and also club of fairies.
They also become good friends with Roxy and Selina who are in the same schoolyear, but over at Cloud Tower.
Mirta, Fairy of Emotions - went to Cloud Tower at first but had an easier time using Fairy Magic, so she changed schools. Her grandmother isn't the greatest fan of that desicion, since Mirta stems from a long line of witches. She was in a romantic realtionship with Lucy during her time at Clout Tower but they broke off due to Lucy being too fixated on the Trix.
Galatea, Fairy of Melodies - a princess of Melody, the seventh of nine. Has already a great amount of practice with her magic.
Nova, Fairy of Warming Lights - Amaryls little sister and a good friend of Stella.
Krystal, Fairy of Sand - Helias sister. Grew up in Magix City. Has already good practice in Healingmagic.
#some ideas i wanted to share#some parts of that might change tho#i want to draw them so bad#but i want to draw in general#so fed up with cg at the moment#but i gotta finish this project#winx mirta#winx galatea#winx nova#winx krystal#ru-ix idea

Oh yeah, Roxy got shafted hard by the writing of Winx club when it got taken over by Nickelodeon.
Yeah, I think it was something to do with like, the group number??? Or just the fact that Nickelodeon wanted to pretty much bring the Winx back to acting sixteen and Roxy kinda represented the season where the Winx clearly were older then sixteen???
Like, I can't remember the exact reason and researching is a little hard, but it was such a bad decision. Like, prior to Roxy getting shafted, the hype was that Roxy would be the new member of the Winx and even in the comics, she was literally dubbed the Seventh fairy, aka the seventh member of the club. And when they brought her back in season seven, they literally had her standing there as the Butterflix dust went over the Wixn and even her but....nothing. Well. Almost, as its clear she was intended to be so....given she got a Butterflix design in a Winx game.
Like, its so weird cause Roxy had potential as a character and we still never found out how she managed to skip Magic Winx (First form), Charmix and Enchantix and straight to Believix, but even then it may be incomplete in areas? Like, a-lot could have been done with her, but guess Nickelodeon was anti-roxy at the time.
#winx club#winx roxy#like she kinda got mirta'd in some sense#at least she appeared in world of winx i guess tho??? but i havent seen that one so

1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 22, 23 for the choose the violence asks 🔪
1. the character everyone gets wrong
Faragonda. People either think that she's secretly a villain or that she's a meek, old grandma. The villain part is really annoying because people act like Faragonda sending the Winx on life-threatening missions is a writing choice made in regards to showing her character when it's a writing choice made for the sake of plot. The writers don't care how Faragonda comes off if they can get their little plot with getting the Winx to save the day work. It's true about everything. How come she spies on the Winx but never does it when they actually need help and she could save them but at the cost of interfering with the plot? Her seemingly keeping the Agador box (4x01) is just the writers being lazy with coming up with a new design for something that will be on screen for 10 seconds. Honestly, name one of her "shady" actions that cannot be explained as a plot convenience. The other side of the spectrum is honestly just... Are you blind? She clearly has a lot more backbone than people realize, yet when that's noticed, it somehow makes her a villain. I am tired.
3. screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
Somebody implying that Daphne is at fault for getting killed by the Ancestral Witches because she chose to sacrifice herself for Bloom and she could have just let her baby sister get murdered if she'd wanted to save herself. What even???????? *flips table*
4. what was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person?
I block over too many wrong opinions or just a few opinions that are Very Wrong TM. So it's usually that. I don't try to remember what exactly made me mad.
7. what character did you begin to hate not because of canon but because how how the fandom acts about them?
Roxy, kind of. I don't hate her but every time I see someone whining about her not being part of the later seasons and bemoaning the fact that she was supposed to be the seventh Winx but then dissapeared, I start to hate her... until I distance myself from that part of fandom. I think Roxy has much potential in her quality of being a foil to Bloom, someone with a very similar backstory but completely different feelings on magic and being a fairy. However, the writers are so hellbent on making her Bloom 2.0 that they completely ignore the differences between the two that they themselves wrote in and the fandom just makes all of that worse when they try to shove Roxy everywhere and force her into the same mold that the Winx fit into. Roxy should have gotten to decide for herself and instead of going to Alfea should have stayed at home with her long-lost mother. Morgana was literally the queen of the Earth fairies. I bet she could have taught Roxy everything she'd learn at Alfea and more, considering that Earth seems to have a different branch of magic altogether that probably differs from the curriculum at Alfea. Plus, that way she could have spent some time with the mother that is a stranger to her and she could have found her own path instead of being forced into something she clearly didn't want just to be like the Winx and, more importantly, Bloom.
8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about
The idea that SotLK is a better movie than Magical Adventure. The way that Bloom makes headway in her search for her parents is so fucking random. We never learn how the Winx found Hagen, the English dub cut the part where Daphne explains why she now thinks that the Roc might have survived when, for 20 years, she believed it to have been destroyed, and the Book of Fate is the literal fucking worst plot device ever. It straight up tells them that Marion and Oritel are in Obsidian. Don't even get me started on the whole mess that happens once they get there or the search for the key to Obsidian. And the theme - if it can even be called that - is a joke.
Magical Adventure suffers from the fact that the scenes have to be in a certain sequence to make sense and keep the suspense but that sequence makes the story feel like two movies mashed into one. However, the two segments are not bad at all. Sure, there are things that don't work (ugh, that montage with the suitors - what were they thinking?!?!?!). But the movie tries to focus on Bloom's relationship with her birth parents, which the first movie completely skipped over. Bloom and Sky are actually somewhat likable. We see the Winx without magic which hasn't happened since when? Season 1? The Ancestral Witches are actually scary when they possess the Trix and the fights are interesting and creative. Plus, there is a coherent theme about how parents' actions affect their children (there was another nuance here that I can't remember now because it's been a while since I watched it).
Anyway, Magical Adventure supremacy.
9. worst part of canon
I already talked about all the bullshit in SotLK and besides I really hate what they did with Zenith. The source of most technological advancements and, of course, they made the whole society be logic-based and emotionless. I. Cannot. Stand. It! They should have made Zenith's technology come from a place of empathy, of wanting to improve life so much for everyone that they become too focused on their work and don't notice how they isolate themselves from everyone else, including each other. It would have been so much more interesting and they could have kept Tecna as a logic-driven person, who's not good with feelings because that's just who she is. She'd fit even better with Winx if she comes from a planet so dedicated to helping everyone else that they neglect themselves and their emotions.
10. worst part of fanon
Blorboifying Valtor. I'm sorry but if you think you want a real-life Valtor, you need to go outside and touch grass. Not to mention that Valtor stans in general seem to have a very distorted view of him. This man has the temper and anger management of a fucking toddler. The only reason why he manages to remain collected and calm a lot of the time is because pretty much no one can stand up to him and pose a threat to his plans and his ego. At the same time somehow people completely miss the fact that he's vain and self-centered and clinging so desperately to his charisma and skills because he knows that deep down he is nothing more than a monster that was created to be a tool for the Ancestral Witches and he hates that. He's practically in constant denial mode about how truly sad his existence is.
12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them
Krystal! She's already at a disadvantage because she's introduced in season 5 AND is instantly shoved in the bullshit drama between Helia and Flora. I have seen people hate on her and call her a shady bitch when all she's done is be overexcited about seeing Helia and managing to defeat the Winx at volleyball and then realizing that maybe the situation came off wrong to Flora and trying to talk to her and tell her that Helia only loves her and he and Krystal are just friends. She's just an excitable teen and she's not at fault for Helia acting weird as fuck and introducing Flora to her as his "friend" as if they haven't been dating for 3 years. Smh. #JusticeForKrystal2kforever
14. that one thing you see in fics all the time
Giving alien features to the girls. Like, I get it but it's always surface level because in the end it's so much easier to work with humanoid characters that you don't have to invent a whole new biology for. It seems completely pointless and usually doesn't come into play a lot. It feels like it's added more for diversity points rather than because it's fun or interesting.
16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)
Making Flora a drug dealer. The "Flora does recreational drugs" take honestly feels like people are desperately trying to make her interesting because they don't like her as she's portrayed on the show. And the idea of "Flora is okay with parts of nature that are dangerous and volatile" somehow always seems to lead to "give Flora a gun" when the two have nothing to do with each other. Flora wanting to protect all nature as it is is one of her defining traits. It feels like people are trying to erase her gentleness because they think that a mild-mannered character is worthless. Honestly, the show doesn't help. They make her empathy come down to "don't hurt it" even when the "it" in question is trying to kill her friends. They could have improved on that by letting Flora specialize in restraining spells that don't hurt the creature they're used on so that she can protect her friends and stick to her beliefs.
22. your favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores
The Company of Light. Even the writers ignore it because a) they did not think it through when they added that backstory and created several plot holes, b) they never did anything with it (for the last time - where's the fucking spin-off?!?!?!?!) and c) they constantly make all of the Company members appear incompetent and weaker than they are for the sake of the plot and letting the Winx in the spotlight. Give these people screen time! They are interesting and important! *cries*
23. ship you've unwillingly come around to
I guess Blicy. I just didn't understand why Icy would want to date Bloom but I read a really good fic and I can see it now.

i actually like roxy's one (1) fairy form 💀
like idk i think it's interesting and leads to a lot of questions about how fairy magic and forms work! it's one of the biggest hints (besides the dragon's flame) that magic is hereditary And that it can affect the person's forms/power level. roxy's magic winx is so interesting to me because it could mean so many things! does her mom being a literal queen of the fairies affect it? or maybe it's because she's an earth fairy? would other earth fairies have similar base wings then? was it because she believed in the winx club and they believed in her and she somehow got some kind of mix of the two forms? like. what happened!! and ik the out of universe explanation is just that they wanted her to visually fit in with the winx while still having her be lower in skill than them, especially with the whole. almost supposed to be the seventh member and all that. but like. what's the in universe reason 👁👁
#i want to know 👁👁#iginio release the dark winx club lore 👁👁#to be quite honest i dont think even he knows#fucking dumbass#Personally my favorite headcanon is that she somehow got a mix of the two since believix was so fitted for earth#it was specifically about getting earth people to believe in magic again#so i think Perhaps maybe roxy by believing in herself as a fairy somehow got the Looks of a believix fairy in her base form#because its obviously not straight up believix otherwise itd look different And she'd be able to use all the special believix perks#And its possible that her ancestry played a hand in that!#with her being literal royalty. her mom being the Actual Morgana. like.#roxys story was supposed to be Very similar to blooms so i wouldnt put be surprised if she inherited some weird version of believix#but idk its pretty whatever the case is 🤷🏻♀️#winx club#god i hope this doesnt show up in the tag 😔#it actually annoys me more when people call her form believix just because it looks similar even though it so clearly isnt#its like one of my biggest pet peeves in the winx fandom 💀

The Winx Divergence- WOW
So someone probably figured this out ages ago, but hear me out anyway: World Of Winx is a season 7 Canon Divergence.
I've thrown about the theory (back in December of 2018) that season 8's return of Valtor from being super dead was because the Winx accidentally changed something while time travelling in season 7 and came back to an alternate timeline (I mean, obviously, they brought back extinct species by literally re-writing the ancient timeline), it would also account for Icy's never-before-mentioned Tragic Backstory.
Because it didn't exist in the Prime Timeline.
So that explains season 8, but how does it explain WOW?
The Winx time travelled several times, and changed various things, it is entirely possible they somehow created an alternate timeline where the Earth Fairies weren't a thing (as we knew them in season 4).
But then how do we explain Roxy?
She was the original owner of the seventh time stone, it was literally made for her, when the timeline diverged as a result of these stones being activated, the proper owners (Roxy and the Winx, not Brafilius) were affected across the Temporal Divergence.
The WOW Winx remember the Prime Timeline, but they may not have actually experienced parts of it. Roxy might remember, or she might have been wholly “displaced” into the new timeline where she'd never existed (from her point of view).
Roxy exists as a fairy, but the world doesn't remember season 4 or the revelation that fairies exist because for them it never happened, only Roxy and the Winx (and possibly Faragonda) even remember it.

HCs/Continuity changes for my fic “A Series of Strange Magical Events”
•It takes place about four months after the end of season 6, serving as a seventh season.
• Throughout season 5 and 6 the winx attended a new grad program at Alfea where they went to specialized classes to improve their skills (like the chrono magic lesson in season 5 episode 23), they also help tutor the young students (as seen in mystery of the abyss). After they finish their final semester they move into a studio apartment in Magix and resume their assistant teacher roles (from season 4).
•Mystery of the Abyss does not exist in the canon nor are season 7 or 8 a part of its future.
•The ages are not reset at the beginning of season 5 or 6. Based the ages in season 1 and on Roxy being a freshman in season 5, she is 18, the winx are 23 with the exception of Stella who is 24 and the Trix are 26.
•Each planet has an object that keeps the world’s energy in balance and has the power to disrupt it.
•Roxy is the seventh winx
•Roxy’s transformation from season 4 is Believix, she also has magic winx and has gained charmix.
•Stella is renamed the Fairy of Light to incorporate her moon and star powers.
•Selina is either the Fairy of plants or weather. (Something nature related)
•Bloomix might be changed to Flameix
• Mythix is used outside of the Legendarium and no stupid wands
•Witchs can gain new transformations
•The girl’s powers are shown and explored more, they are more affective and destructive, basically showing how powerful they really are.
•In their new transformation, each girl gets six named spells as well as anything else they can do. No more one person gets one spell and another gets eight. (Six may not seem like a lot but you’ll see.)
•Aisha and Nex are not together. (There is a reason)
