Wait does roxas and sora battle and magic change because of what they are or is just the same in the series of the games?

If I'm understanding the question correctly, then yeah Sora and Roxas are able to use the same combat abilities they use in kh2, including form changes. Some things are different and adapted due to their circumstances, but they are able to do some different things because of headcanons and what they are. So sorta both? They both can use form changes but due to their instability it's a coinflip on whether or not they get the correct change or just antiform.

Roxas also has some magic and skills exclusive to him inspired by both his gameplay and the bossfight he gets in KH2FM. Conversely, a lot of what Sora can do normally aren't things Roxas knows how to do himself, and Sora's instability and status as a Heartless has let him take advantage of slipping into the shadows on the walls, even if it's completely by accident.

I'm sure there's some other abilities they could gain just by the fact they're visiting worlds that aren't in the Kingdom Hearts series itself and mingling with people that follow entirely different rules at times! The fact that the first major world Roxas, Hayner, Olette, and Pence visited (before even meeting Joshua) was the Comet Observatory from Super Mario Galaxy prooobably has a lot to do with the major trajectory shifts! Trust me, there is context behind each encounter, and part of the reason I'm considering sharing events non-chronologically is because I'm not sure how interested people would be in how things started vs how things are going, but they do provide context behind why certain things are they way they are and a reason behind things that aren't as obvious as "Roxas can use Reversal on anyone because that's his thing and he even uses it against Sora that one time."

Basically, a lot is different but I am trying to keep things as close to canon as I can manage. If things steer too far off course they may end up losing that connection to the source material you see XD

Roxiri motocross au

My roxiri motocross au imagined as a moodboard or more like a storyboard lol a nice mixture of motocross action, their animated vs live action stand ins Roxas stand in def look like a biker with his hair it’s awesome 😎

Kinda a run down of my au ideas, kairi is a inspiring motorbike rider determined to join sora & them team to enter motocross at the destiny islands fair but they won’t let her join because she’s gotta be beyond perfect due to them being all “oh it’s too dangerous for girls you’d just get hurt” all that sexist jazz so Roxas who’s on the team decides he’s gonna train her after being super annoyed with sora & Riku’s & probably Hayner’s input attitude about her. So he trains her but it isn’t like she’s a novice rider she had grown up riding but she needs to learn the tricks & form a routine. At some point they gain feelings for each other & start doing cutesy biker couple shenanigans 😍❤️ that’s all I got from where I discussed it in the roxiri server. 😊

I’m gonna rank m/f ships in kh because I’m bored and don’t think I’ve shared most of my opinions on these

Sora x Kairi - the best but only my very specific fanon interpretation and some of my friends’. They are the worst ship when portrayed as Heterosexual

Kairi x Riku - love. Kairi is the only girl I can I imagine Riku with because he’s gay to me. He can be with Kairi because he’s come to care for her so much and they’ve known each other for so long. They were live and die for each other (and have)

Ephemer x skuld - good. They’re so special to each other and belong together in any capacity. Do not separate.

Kairi x Hayner - I could see it. I think they’d be really flirty and I enjoy that a lot

Pence x olette - cute. Their besties so it’s not a hard jump to make. They’d be really affectionate and it’d be adorable.

Kairi x pence - cute. They’d go on shipping dates and be gross in puppy love. We Stan.

Kairi x Roxas - good. Definitely the superior m/f Roxas ship. They have such a unique understanding of the world and of sora who’d be the biggest part of their bond but outside of him they’d be really good friends and tease each other and that’s important for a relationship to me

Kairi x Vanitas - good. Vibe with the contrast between their affinities and Sora vs Vanitas. Definitely like them farrrr more as friends but I appreciate ships with Complexity and Symbolism

Player (if male) x skuld - good. Not as close as Ephemer and skuld but still very important to each other so I enjoy

Ven x Kairi - cute! We love the princesses of light. I prefer them as friends but I think they’d be adorable as a couple

Roxas x Xion - not bad. Much more prefer them as best friends (not quite siblings because their relationship and identities are complicated) but I won’t turn away good shipping stuff of them

Sora x Naminé - cute. Definitely would need more development for me to really like but it’s not impossible and I think they’d be good for each other in any capacity

Aqua x demyx - there’s potential. Water and ice, slacker vs hard working. Aqua would either not be impressed by demyx as all, think he’s funny, or get enjoyment out of working him into shape lol. Demyx would think she’s pretty but scary.

Roxas x olette - not bad. Again they’d be good friends so points for that and I think they understand each other the most of the quartet but not my most passionate ship

Hayner x olette - eh. I could see them having had some kind of middle school thing from pressure and not understanding feelings but nothing more serious than that for canon compliant. I could see it for an au where they’re older and in current society but they’re just really good friends to me

Kairi x Repliku - is this a ship? I wouldn’t be mad at it but I don’t even know if it exists lol

Strelitzia x player (male) - eh? Strelitzia liked them but. They didn’t even meet. I don’t know if the player would be particularly interested in her.

Aqua x terra - meh. Their relationship feels much more substantial as friends and I just really can’t see them feeling that way about each other

Sora x strelitzia - I’m holding off on them until we have more information but I can see the potential. Definitely prefer a sibling / best friend dynamic but I’m not opposed to them as a couple (not from anyone in the fandom though because I feel like they’d get it Wrong)

Roxas x Naminé - eh. Again I really think there’s more value to their relationship as friends and they never express those kind of feelings for each other (same with aqua and terra). They barely even know each other.

Isa x Aqua - no. Isa is a little too old for aqua for me and while their dynamic intrigues me I don’t know if that necessarily needs to be romantic. Maybe in an au? But I feel like people would be weird with it so no

Axel x aqua - no. Same as above but even less. Couldn’t even happen in an au

Naminé x Repliku - nah. Repliku definitely holds deep feelings for Naminé but it’s not reciprocated and I think there’s too much between them for it to be a good relationship. Maybe in an au.

Naminé x Vanitas - nah. Somethings just a little off to me. I could see the potential but unless someone really knocked it out the part I don’t think I’d find much interest in it. Maybe in an au

Larxene x marluxia - they’re gay Harold and if by some miracle they’d ever kiss they’d gag afterwards bc it’s like kissing their sibling (them being gay is why there aren’t any other m/f ships with them on this list)

Sora x Xion - gross. They are siblings or at the very least almost the same person but distinct enough that it’s just weird

Riku x Naminé - genuinely offensive to me i despise this ship

The seven fallen angels, known as the Nephilim, are Lucifer (who represents pride), Mammon (greed), Asmodeus (lust), Leviathan (envy), Beelzebub (gluttony), Satan (same as Lucifer but also allotted with the sin of wrath), and Belphegor (sloth and laziness).

Well, my theory is that the Seekers of Darkness were supposed to represent the Seven Deadly Sins. I actually think that the Seven Guardians of Light were probably meant to represent the Seven Heavenly Virtues. So, pure light vs. pure darkness. The X-Blade is shaped like the Roman Catholic Keys of Heaven.

In the Bible, Jesus comes upon a man possessed by a demon, and asks him "what is thy name," according to the King James version. The verses continue, "And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many."

The 13 Darknesses are basically like the Biblical fallen angels. They want to acquire the Keys to the Kingdom. But to do so, they need to possess physical bodies. I think there was probably not enough time to properly incorporate this lore into KH3, so it was moved to Phase 2. But still, it makes a lot more sense as part of the Dark Seeker Saga.

Pride (Superbia)

“The world needs someone to stand up and lead. Someone strong to stop the weak from polluting the world with their endless darkness. Someone to dictate their destiny.”

Pride is the Original Sin, and the source of all the other sins. Once Dark Road comes out, I will know for sure. But right now, my theory is that The Master of Masters is the head honcho Darkness, named Super. He is a “Fallen Angel” and a false light, similar to Lucifer. He tempted Xehanort to start a new Keyblade War. Then he possessed his body (I don’t think the MoM actually had a physical form). Xehanort was just a pawn for Super to acquire the X-Blade.

Lust (Luxuria)

“I need only play the role of a fool desirous of the Keyblade's power.”

Lust is defined as “an intense desire”. Braig was desirous of the Keyblade’s power, so he became the new Luxu.

Envy (Invidia)

"As Lea and Isa started taking digs at each other, Ven watched in envy, missing the days when friendship was so simple to define."

I do agree with that Youtuber that Ventus was meant to be the vessel for Envy/Invi. In KHUX Ventus was envious of Skuld and Ephemer’s friendship. In BBS, he was envious of Lea and Isa. And even Roxas is envious of Hayner, Pence, and Olette. But when Ventus was split into two, I think Vanitas embodied Envy, and Ventus embodied the Heavenly Virtue Kindness.

Gluttony (Gula)

"The boy, though well-intentioned, seeks power single-mindedly. And that kind of hunger is a seedbed for darkness."

Gluttony is a distorted obsession, perverted obsession for food or the object of our pleasure. Ansem Seeker of Darkness was born from Terra's hunger for power. 

Wrath (Ira)

"It infuriated me to see how you just exited our lives. I was jealous."

Wrath is associated with jealousy, which is not quite the same as envy. Jealousy is more associated with anger and possessiveness, like a jealous lover who is furious that his girlfriend is chatting with another man.

The Future of the Destiny Islands Trio - Part 2

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

Kairi and Riku : Now

So this section will be far shorter than the last one simply because, once again, Kairi and Riku barely interact throughout the entire game so there unfortunately isn’t much to analyze. I won’t go too in-depth into Kairi and Riku’s relationship in past games since I already wrote a detailed analysis of their relationship in my Jealous Riku series, but I’d like to highlight some points for those who are new to my posts. For one, Riku and Kairi’s relationship has had some tension since the very start of the series. A few cutscenes into KH1, Kairi suggested to Sora that she wanted to take the raft, leave the island and abandon Riku because she sensed that he was “changing” (which was most likely his growing darkness). On the other hand, Riku used Kairi as a tool to guilt Sora for running around the worlds with his new companions, Donald and Goofy, whom he felt replaced him. The conclusion of the analysis of how they treat each other is that they are in the middle of a silent tug o’ war with Sora in the middle. Silent because they don’t outright say they’re against each other but their actions reveal the truth. There is a lot of evidence to support this throughout the series into KH3, even symbolic evidence which I’ll get to towards the end. We will focus on KH3 for this theory but I will reference past games to show that their behavior towards each other isn’t new.

So in KH3, the first time we know Riku and Kairi interact is during the paopu fruit scene. We don’t get to see them interact directly, but when Sora asks why Riku is all alone Kairi responds that he said he needed time to himself so the two must have spoken. Kairi then uses this time to offer Sora a paopu fruit, leaving Riku out of the equation. If we are to believe Kairi and Riku are good friends, wouldn’t she have wanted to share a paopu fruit with him too? Contrary to popular belief the paopu fruit isn’t just a romantic symbol. The paopu fruit intertwines destinies which can be completely platonic as proven by the Wayfinder Trio, their wayfinder is based on the paopu fruit. Even if she intended to share the fruit with Sora romantically, she could have waited until Riku was done spending time with himself to invite him over so he could also share a fruit as a friend.

Say what you will but this behavior is only present in the Destiny Islands Trio group. Aqua, Terra and Ventus all have their own Wayfinder and they all laid them together on Eraqus’ grave, no one was left out. The Twilight Town gang all ate popcicles together, not just the Trio but Hayner, Pence and Olette as well. They even included Isa after kicking his ass around. Yet the Destiny Islands Trio finally have their moment to share a paopu fruit together and Riku is excluded? This was clearly intentional, it’s further evidence of the hidden strain between Riku and Kairi. They’re barely speaking to one another. Kairi acts like a complete opportunist and waits until the exact moment Riku is by himself to share a paopu fruit with just Sora, which mirrors how she wanted to take a raft and runaway with just Sora. When Kairi gets slashed into pieces by Xehanort Riku gasps but barely moves, yet he leaps into action when Sora is blown back by Xehanort. How are we honestly supposed to believe these two are even regular friends, let alone good friends? The story does not set these two up as friends in even the slightest way, at most these two are associates because they both hang around Sora.

Even after Sora is sent off to Limbo, there is no evidence that these two are speaking much. When Leon asks Riku how the others are doing, Riku tells him about the Wayfinder Trio, Twilight Town gang and even Mickey, Donald and Goofy and literally stops there. It takes prodding from Aerith for him to even speak on Kairi. 

This isn’t a small, insignificant detail. Riku doesn’t even think to mention Kairi, could you imagine this happening with any of the other trios? Aqua, Terra and Ventus couldn’t shut up about each other, and neither could Axel, Roxas and Xion once they remembered her. How could Riku “forget” to mention Kairi’s progress, a member of his Trio? These two aren’t thinking about each other at all. We saw Kairi exclude Riku from the paopu fruit scene and now Riku doesn’t even bother to mention her unless someone else brings her up. Aerith isn’t even a part of the Trio, nor has she ever met Kairi in person (that we know of) yet she thinks of Kairi before Riku does? Riku’s connection to Kairi, if there is even one at all, is so weak that characters outside of the Trio seem to have a stronger bond with her than he does. In fact, Riku has a stronger moment with Terra than he does with Kairi. Terra acts like a proud big brother to him when he marvels at how much Riku has grown and that he has gained the strength to protect what matters. 

Hell, Riku has a stronger moment with Roxas than he does with Kairi in the entire game - he literally played tag with him and Terra on the beach in the ending cutscene. This comes after he and Roxas beat the crap outta each other in 358/2 Days, and we never really see the two reconcile or apologize but they seem to be okay enough with each other to race and play.

These are the kinds of interactions we need to see with Riku and Kairi. It’s not enough to say they’re friends, if they are truly meant to be friends then it’s time to show it. 

Riku vs Kairi: The Symbolism in Their Names

Aside from the growing amount of evidence in the games that there is subtle tension between Riku and Kairi, we can also point to evidence in their names. No, this isn’t a stretch. Nomura is very careful about naming his characters and Nomura himself explained that he named Sora as he did because the sky represents Sora as a character and his personality. He named Riku and Kairi “land” and “sea” to go along with Sora’s naming convention and to represent their relationships with Sora. 

If we look at the KH3 title screen, we see Sora and Kairi eating their separate paopu fruits and walking off….into the sea. Kairi’s name means “sea/ocean”. What happens when you walk further and further into the ocean? You get further away from land. Riku.

The further Sora goes into the sea, the further he is away from land. The more Sora chases Kairi and centers his world around Kairi, the further Riku is from the trio. And we literally see this in the game. Kairi shares paopu fruits with Sora and leaves Riku out, Sora goes off to save Kairi alone and leaves Riku behind. Both of them have alienated Riku in some way. Riku is accepting this, we see him taking a step back and believing in Sora and Kairi’s relationship.

Riku clearly believes Kairi is what’s best for Sora now, but this goes completely against Riku saying “Sora needs me” in DDD. If we go by the original Japanese dialogue,  Riku’s entire journey was finding the strength to protect his “precious person” (the word used in Japanese is “taisetsu” 大切 which can also translate to “someone dear, beloved”. Ring any bells?), not his friends as a whole but a specific person. That person is obviously Sora, Riku’s journey has been centered around saving Sora. Riku is now at a point where he believes Kairi is the one who is better suited for Sora, to protect him and keep him happy, not him. He’s taking this well and not stooping to jealousy like he did in KH1 but this doesn’t mean that Riku is completely happy about being left out. I will go further in depth for the next part where I’ll focus on Sora and Riku’s relationship.

Kairi and Riku : Future

So where does Riku and Kairi’s relationship go from here? It’s honestly hard to say. If Kairi comes out of her sleep and helps Riku look for Sora, then maybe they’ll finally have moments where they talk and behave like friends. This is assuming Riku decides to include her. After you view the Fairy Godmother scene in the LimitCut episode if you go back into Radiant Garden you’ll have a chance to speak with the FF crew. If you speak to Aerith once or twice she will say “Are you going to tell Kairi?” in reference to his dream being a key to finding Sora. This is an interesting piece of dialogue and it begs the question: why would Aerith ask this unless she had doubts that Riku would tell her? Just something to think about.

There are two ways this can go. Either Riku will not tell Kairi about his dreams and go off on his own to save Sora, or he will tell her and the two will go together. In other words we could end up with either a Riku and Kairi game, or a solo Riku game where he goes to save Sora again possibly Dream Drop Distance style. We will have to see. favorite moment:

so many good moments, so hard to choose! i’m going to say his ddd scene with sora is such a soft, melancholy, and mature moment. roxas’ patient, compassionate face when he shows sora all his painful memories feels so honest and vulnerable idk??? i love it.

edit: can i change my mind a few hours later? i just remembered the scene where axel and DiZ repeatedly call out roxas’ name, begging him to make a choice he doesn’t understand and when roxas’ world is swirling and falling apart, he calls for hayner, pence, and olette to ground him back to the reality he feels is most important and real.

idea for a story:

this one is angsty but i like thinking that there is some level of survivor’s guilt & doubt that he goes through post-kh3 when he befriends real HPO vs. his bittersweet “false” memories of digital HPO. i’d love to see a story that shows him navigating those conflicting emotions (i.e. feeling like he needs to earn real HPO’s friendship, feeling like he abandoned digital HPO despite it not being his fault etc.) and it’d be nice to see HPO being v supportive of him and helping him through this transition? given how much data is becoming important to the kh lore, it’d be cool to see digital twilight town coming back through some means for the gang to try and understand how data works. i’m not sure

unpopular opinion:

UM… i can’t really come up with any…? ig it might be unpopular that i want roxas to have a cool down moment in the series? i would love to see him help save sora but i’m not sure if i want him to be THE ONE to save him per say? oddly ironic bc i wanted this to be the case for kh3 but that didn’t really happen.

favorite relationship:

his relationship with the twilight kids!! i love how much they matter to roxas and how they represent a normal & healthy childhood life to him. just thinking about lifeless he was in his first days of existence surrounding the orgxiii adults and how much he lit up with curiosity when the twilight trio walked passed him as he was walking with axel makes me so emotional in the CoM credits ;;; at the end of the day, roxas is literally just a little kid and he deserves to have a normal childhood after all that he’s been through.

favorite headcanon:

mentioned this in the story idea but ig another one that’s more lighthearted? roxas popping out of his replica body whenever he is so done with life LOL.

Thoughts after Winnie the Pooh trailer

- That lantern scene is pretty...lit. Flin and Repunzel are adorable. Sora, Donald, and Goofy look pretty taken back as well.  

- No matter how tedious the minigames could be - seeing Pooh bear warms my heart. It’s interesting to see Lumpy there as well. 

-  Don’t fuck with Hayner - he has the power of sidekicks and anime on his side! AHHHHHHHHH!!! (Pence needs to lay off the weed). 

- Self-depreciation is bad for the soul, Demyx. And Vexen, do you have some irons in the fire? HmMMmmm? (It seems that they were only recently killed/norted since their ears are still unpointed). I honestly think Demyx was brought back because they wanted a good scout? I donno, but Vexen was definitely brought in because of his replica project and high intellect. 

- Chirithy is absolutely adorable...I wonder who originally owned it? (My money is on Ventus). Also the location looks like something we see later in the trailer...

- It looks like Davy Jones got his tendrils full of Jack ale! Also Sora probably took the chest...I wonder what’s on Luxords mind? Is he allied with Jones, or operating alone? 

- Heartless Baymax vs Baymax 2.0...Ready? FIGHT!

- I’m guessing these Winnie the pooh mini-games may have different objectives but both seem to take place at Rabbit’s place; the first one has a count of 507/700, with Lumpy as the icon in the corner, and the objective seems to be collecting fruit from. The second seems to be similar, but with Beaver as the icon, and appears to involve using specific flowers to make honey for Pooh (Oh Pooh bear, try not to get stuck in a hole this time!)

- I’m guessing the Heartless that we have to break the guard-bar of is probably the Giant Cotton-Fluff Spawner Heartless. It’s pretty cool to see both Flinn and Repunzel in on the action (we already knew this was happening, though it’s just cool to see them kicking ass). 

- Jacks’ new assist is looking good. I’m always up for a Bomberman party! Speaking of assists the Honey Launcher looks beautiful - it’s nice to see that Winnie the Pooh gave us an upgrade this time that’s cool and badass. 

- NOW we come to the location I mentioned in the Chirithy point. Everyone seems to be freaking out about this. I think it’s one of two locations; 1. Kingdom Hearts, it’s so surreal and beautiful and one of the places that seems to just be...absent...of Heartless. Two. It could very well be a training location somewhere in Mount Olympus, even though we’ve seen most of the location, it does have clouds meaning it could be in the God’s realm for a test of sorts?...I still like the idea of Kingdom Hearts though...or it could be a dream. I mean the last time we saw something that involved multiple Soras it was in the Sleeping Realm, not saying it’s in the sleeping realm he could just be having a ‘weird nap’.  

- Heartless...raining from the sky. And I thought Spiders were bad. Seriously though it’s extremely concerning that the Xehanorts can summon that many Heartless. 

- I just love the bit where they’re all rushing into battle. It’s just MMM! yeah!!

- I guess we’re about to get Terra - who did nothing wrong (pffft..) - back.The Lingering Will seems to be ready to destroy it though, I suppose Mickey’s new keyblade may be the key?

- The height differences of the Organization really put into perspective who each Vessel may be. The tall ones are obviously Xemnas, Ansem (the Seeker), Vexen, Marluxia, and Saix; the medium sized ones are probably Demyx, Larxene, Xigbar; I think the smaller ones are Data-Riku...and most likely Roxas, since the last trailer showed him, but in a Black Coat with his back to the camera because I’m guessing Vexen may have helped with that. 

- Mr. Xehathot is looking as menacing as ever. His new voice actor is trying his best to make it work. Rest in peace Leonard Nimoy.

Kingdom Hearts II - Day 4

- And our random cameo for the game is Setzer from Final Fantasy VI, seriously, it’s like he was thrown in at the last minute.

- Again, you’re labelling Hayner as someone with an attitude problem when at worst, he’s probably that guy you want to punch in the face once in a while because he wouldn’t let something go.

- See it’s shit like this that makes me want to see a more realistic side of it all, like I can imagine Hayner swearing like mad after losing.

- He didn’t even collect any orbs but apparently he won.

- Now there’s a match up I’d like to see in Dissidia, Roxas vs. Vivi.

- Oh fuck, it’s Firelord Chandler and he’s returned for blood.

- I like that he survived the last game, he certainly was the highlight of it all.

- So you have something involving, like a virtual world or something and that DiZ guy is back, who I feel I should have a name for but he’s kind of bland, I mean he looks like every other mentor out there.

- Does everyone just want to fuck Roxas, I mean even Setzer is now making passes at him.

Anyways readmore for thoughts on P3/KH AU because oh boy do I have thoughts.

(Note: Personality is not fully being taken into account, since obviously these characters are different. But the roles they would fill would work well together.)

Sora as Minako: And I mean Minako not Minato. Sora in KH3 is the epitome of “I hide my depression behind smiles and laughs” which is Minako’s personality to a tee vs Minato’s emo attitude. Similarly both Minako and Sora die in the game labeled three.

Riku as Junpei: Junpei is Minako’s best friend, he would do anything for her and by the end of the story would put his life before hers. Likewise, at the start of his arc, Junpei is insanely jealous of Minako for getting the leadership role, but it’s something he grows out of. Riku sees a similar arc in KH1 (envy of Sora causing him to be a dick) and similarly would die for Sora.

Kairi as Yukari: First they both round out the respective trios (Yukari/Minako/Junpei and Sora/Riku/Kairi) and both are the girls who absolutely try their best to be supportive to their protagonist’s roles.

Aqua as Mitsuru: Both are absolute queens. Also Aqua desperately would’ve worked her ass off to make up for the mistakes that were caused by people she cared about, and both could function as a team mom.

Lea as Akihiko: Honestly nobody is good enough to be Akihiko of the boys, but Lea has an easy backstory target in that he cares about several characters he might lose, and we all saw how reckless he gets when he loses the people he cares about.

Isa as Shinji: Moon boys. Also Shinji and Isa both seek retribution for the actions they caused, and both find said retribution in death. Also Isa is Lea’s childhood best friend.

Subject X as Miki: We don’t have a lot to go in for either, but both serve as backstory props atm for the actions of their boys.

Xion as Aigis: Both are artificial humans with a strong connection to Sora/Minako. They also both spend much of their time alive learning just what it means to be human as they come to terms with their emotions.

Roxas as Ken: This actually hurts me to cast on so many levels but uh...Ken actually becomes a younger brother figure to Akihiko, and Aki in turn looks out for him, which in terms of dynamic is similar to Lea’s and Roxas’s friendship. Also Roxas and Isa have issues, to put it lightly.

Olette as Fuuka: Olette is the only character (besides Minako) to have connections and friendships that we see outside of the main playable cast, likewise Olette would have connections with Hayner and Pence. On top of that, Olette is a noncombat character in KH, as Fuuka plays the role of navigator. Finally Olette would be a stranger who could activate Lea’s guilt, similar to how Fuuka activates Akihiko.

Chirithy as Koromaru: ...woof

Eraqus as Mitsuru’s dad: Eraqus is the father figure of Aqua, and likewise could very easily be attoning for letting oldnort perform the research that would bring about the fall, while wanting to avoid that responsibility being thrust on Aqua.

Ansem the Wise as Ikutsuki: Ansem is for all intents and purposes, the main researcher for the fall. I thought about making him Yukari’s dad but eh, the idea of him being dragged into Xehanort’s research and not putting a stop to his experiments on Shadows is a lot more interesting to me, a lot. Plus it does make sense with how he acted as DiZ given as DiZ, Ansem the Wise is a researcher who basically lost his mind which uh... *cough*

MoM as Takaya: Whether that’s Demyx, Luxord, Blaine, or somebody else we’ll see in Re:Mind, but the point is. MoM wanted the world to fall to darkness and be destroyed despite not being the one actively causing The Fall. Also MoM could probably become a fanatical cult leader with very little effort.

Luxu as Jin: You mean Takaya’s second in command wouldn’t be MoM’s?

Namine as Chidori: Well first of all Namiku is a standard Riku pairing and given Junpei/Chidori is the only canon confirmed pairing that needs to be something looked at. Like I can’t throw somebody who doesn’t have an existing ship at Junpei. Second, they’re both very lonely artists who would champion what they believe is right above all else, including their life. Finally, Namine is believed to have ties to Chi by several people, which would tie her to Luxu and MoM similar to Takaya and Jin.

Ven as Pharos: Smol boy living in Sora’s heart with no memories, smol boy living in Minako’s heart without memories.

Terra as Ryoji: Hey I shouldn’t need to explain anything more if you played P3 but both suffered. Both would also become the incarnation of the badguy.

Xehanort is just the form Nyx takes.
