I just watched yesterday (23/08/23) the movie Crush and I loved it!

It's one of that teen cliché movies, a romcom coming of age, but with sapphics and I hadn't seen a production with so many sapphics like that yet (but my references are few tho lol), the movie introduces about to 4 sapphics that could be an option to Paige be in love instead of the 💫intangible Gabby💫, so I thought it'd be limited to that, like "they're the only gays of the school", but throughout the movie we get to see more lesbians characters naturally there, multisexuals and gays too, oh straight too lol.

You know that story where the protagonist has a crush on the popular person of school and tries to get close to them, but their attempt always ends up being embarrassing or simply not goes as planned? Well, one of Paige's attempts to get close to Gabby leads her to spend time with someone else.

I have to say that I understand Paige completely, when Gabby first came up oof, gorgeous! I understand her in both cases, AJ total girlfriend material, she asking if Paige wanted to try the skate and holding her hands while staring at her eyes (/ω＼) it's the staging of my teenage dream (∩˃////˂∩) lol

Just the fact that Rowan Blanchard is in the movie I already loved it, because I used to follow her ig and she's a fashion and feminist icon, but she did Paige really well, the way she stuttered when were close to Gabby and blabbered random facts 🤭 speaking of that I love that she did the same with AJ when she fell in love with her, it's a simple thing that any good writer would do, but I love it (∩˃ ᵕ ˂∩)

Other point that I love is the colors growing behind Paige's crush. The scene where Gabby and AJ are side by side and Paige looks at them and the background colors up, woah it was like I was in love with them. I saw that the movie was going to be called Love in Color, it matches perfectly the concept, but I don't know why it changed.

One thing that didn't get clear to me was if AJ already had a crush on Paige before they started talking or not, because the movie shows the scene when they were kids exemplifying how AJ didn't know how to express herself and the sketches on the first pages of her notebook are already about Paige, unless she just had started a new sketchbook it kinda makes me think AJ already liked her, buuuut also there's the scene where AJ say that started to fall in love with Paige at the same time as her, so I don't know, I consider that they fell in love together.

Paige's bestie and mother 😂👌 pure comic, the top cherry was the witch sapphic saying that has casted a spell not for Paige to fall in love with her, but with AJ 🤭🤭🤭
