Mexico: Ochoa; Arteaga, Vasquez, Montes, Sanchez; Herrera, Lainez, Romo; Lozano, Jimenez, Corona
Uruguay: Fernando Muslera; Ronald Araujo, Diego Godin, Jose Gimenez, Mathias Olivera; Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Bentancur; Darwin Nunez, Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani.

San Ysidro McDonald’s Massacre
The San Ysidro McDonald’s Massacre occurred at a McDonald’s in the town San Ysidro of San Diego,CA on July 19, 1984. The perpetrator was 41 year old James Huberty, who fatally shot 21 people and wounded 19 others before being killed by police.
His wife, Etna, asked where he was going with a small arsenal of weapons and he replied with “I’m going to hunt humans.” He had been at that same Mcdonald’s with his wife and children earlier that day before the massacre. James walked into the Mcdonald’s with a semiautomatic rifle, a semiautomatic pistol and a 12-gauge pump shotgun. He told his family, “Goodbye, I won’t be back”.
On that day 45 people were in that Mcdonald’s. He then started killing and wounding many others inside and outside of the San Ysidro Mcdonald’s. Police then interfered and 27 yr old police SWAT sniper named Charles Foster sniped James and killed him instantly. Huberty shouted things about fighting in the Vietnam War but was never actually part of the military.

The New York Times “The Morning” 01/14/2021
‘The most bipartisan impeachment’
Even during a scandal, a president’s own party members usually defend him. Decades later, people tend to forget how overwhelming the partisan support was and exaggerate the degree of conscience among politicians of the past.
In 1999, no Senate Democrats voted to convict Bill Clinton during his impeachment trial. Many Democrats made excuses for his affair with a 22-year-old White House intern, and some went so far as to smear her.
In the 1970s, Republican leaders spent months casting the investigations into the Nixon administration as partisan overreach. Gerald Ford, while still the Republicans’ House leader, called the Watergate investigation a “political witch hunt.” Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush defended both Nixon and his bribetaking vice president, Spiro Agnew.
In the 1860s, Andrew Johnson’s fellow Democrats stood solidly by him during his impeachment and kept him from conviction.
All of which helps puts yesterday’s second impeachment of President Trump into perspective: It was both a strikingly partisan affair — and an unusually bipartisan one.
On the one hand, dozens of members of Congress refused to break with a president who tried to overturn an election result and incited a mob that attacked Congress, killing a police officer. Only 10 House Republicans voted for impeachment, and the final tally was 232 to 197.
“The political penalties for encouraging extremism and attacking democratic norms are dangerously weak,” the political scientist Brendan Nyhan wrote yesterday.
On the other hand, Trump has suffered more defections from his party than any previous president besides Nixon, who ultimately lost Republican support and resigned before the House could impeach him. Yesterday’s vote, Daniel Nichanian of The Appeal wrote, was “the most bipartisan impeachment of a president in U.S. history.”
By comparison, only five House Democrats voted to impeach Clinton, The Times’s Carl Hulse noted — three of whom later became Republicans, while a fourth joined the George W. Bush administration. In 2019, not a single House Republican voted to impeach Trump. Only one Republican senator, Mitt Romney, voted to convict, and other Republicans disdained the process from the start.
This time, they are sending a more nuanced message. Mitch McConnell, the Republican Senate leader, has put out word that he is glad impeachment is happening, and he issued a statement yesterday saying he had “not made a final decision on how I will vote” in the Senate trial.
Of course, McConnell is a crafty politician who would like both to be rid of Trump and to prevent President-elect Joe Biden from passing much legislation. So McConnell also signaled yesterday that he would not start a Senate trial before Biden took office, effectively forcing Democrats to choose between trying Trump and focusing on Biden’s agenda.
The delay seems to make conviction less likely. “People’s outrage levels recede,” my colleague Maggie Haberman wrote yesterday. “Memories fade. And I do wonder if there will be as much Senate Republican anger next month as there is now.”
Still, the existence of that anger underscores the historic nature of yesterday. Trump became the first president in U.S. history to be impeached twice — and only the second to have a meaningful number of his party members in Congress deem him unfit to be president.
The 10 Republicans who voted for impeachment included Liz Cheney of Wyoming, the No. 3 ranking Republican in the House; four others from safely Republican seats; and five from more competitive districts.
“I’m not afraid of losing my job, but I am afraid that my country will fail,” Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington, who’s in her sixth term, said. “My vote to impeach our sitting president is not a fear-based decision. I am not choosing a side. I’m choosing truth.”

Mantiene buen ritmo tras vencer a Nicaragua. TAYLOR SWIFT STYLE — BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
Now that we actually have at least a somewhat established aesthetic and fashion theme for the era, crafting a predictions post has become much easier to nail down.
And so, you’ll see a lot of pastels (obviously), iridescents, and boho airy fairy vibes amongst my choices.
Ronald van der Kemp Spring 2019 Couture This lovely piece was actually recommended to me by a friend over a month ago, but I bookmarked it for an occasion such as this. And I’m so glad I finally get to break it out now. The sheen of the skirt, the kaleidoscope of colours, and the metallic gold belt all come together into a gown that feels simultaneously fun and colourful but also sleekly cut and elegant. The perfect blend.
Carolina Herrera Fall 2019 It’s possible that this gown, with its random swath of colour, could be deemed too similar in construction to her similar sherbet coloured J. Mendel gown but ... it’s too beautiful to not choose. I feel that Taylor would likely shorten this to a tea length to make it more ladylike and Taylor-loves-vintage vibes. Add on some beautiful butterfly earrings and a coral manicure + glossy coral lip.
Halpern Spring 2019 Futuristic fairy is what I’m going for with this lurex-looking shiny fabric mini by Halpern. I adore the more elegant neckline construction and cape and how it’s combated with a micro hemline — perfect and typical for a music awards show. The baby blue colour is also always a consistent winner on Taylor.
Christian Dior Spring 2019 Couture There were so many looks from the Dior runway that I could have chosen, in fact I very strongly considered Looks 34, 18, and 67. Ultimately, 34 felt too close to the Versace number she wore last year. This one won out because of its soft blush base, Maypole-esque ribbon detail, and the almost rattan/wicker-looking bodice which lended the boho vibes that I think (hope) Taylor will introduce more as the era continues to play out.
Runners Up
Rosie Assoulin Fall 2019 I don’t know what it is but this dramatic gown with its unique bodice strap detailing and unexpected colour combination was so striking to me that it immediately stirred my heart. While I doubt Taylor would wear something like this to an occasion that is not quite as grand as the BBMAs it is still ... so beautiful.
Halpern Fall 2019 Yes, a different look from the Halpern collection. This one a little more disco leaning.
Gabriela Hearst Spring 2019 I was inspired by Taylor’s Blake Lively A Simple Favor suit scene from “ME!” that this Gabriela Hearst blush suit immediately struck me. I love the way the jacket uniquely wraps and the tailored fit.
So what do you think of my predictions? What do you think Taylor will wear to the BBMAs?
— Taylor ended up wearing a lilac ruffly mini number by Raisa & Vanessa.
