It was only supposed to be a game...

Liz has one request for her birthday: she just wants everyone to get along. Their group has been fractious lately, splintered by romantic and familial tensions.

Bad weather forces a change of plans, relocating her party inside Max's house, where she impulsively decides they will play the boardgame she's received from a mystery gift-giver.

The rules are simple. They must build the spooky little house out of cardboard, then write down their deepest fears and hide them somewhere in the cardboard house. Liz hopes discussing these things will help bring them back together.

Things go awry when they're sucked into the house and wake up trapped in a nightmare world. Here they meet Jones - a doppelganger for Liz's boyfriend Max. He's in love with Liz and has been for years, and now he's come to claim her. He's a shadow man, an ancient, eldritch being with the power to bend reality and bring their nightmares to life. It's his house, and his rules.

He gives Liz a choice: she can surrender to him and he'll let her friends go free, though she'll never see them or her family again. Or they can play the game. If they face their fears and survive, and make it to the tower room at the top of the house before dawn, they win, and they'll be free.

The choice is taken from Liz when Max tries to attack Jones and is knocked out, then kept prisoner as an extra incentive to keep them playing.

Now Liz and her friends must face the house, room by room, in the most twisted escape room game ever played. As dawn creeps closer, and Jones tries to show her why she should choose a life with him, she faces losing her freedom and the man she really loves. And worst, if she wants to win, she must conquer the thing she dreads most - losing her sister.

 A - Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)

Caring and nurturing. He provides some form of aftercare after sex even if it wasn’t kink related at all, making sure they’re cleaned up and comfortable. Most of his partners haven’t been ones where they or he could spend the night but he still tries to make sure he leaves them satisfied in every way. I think he’s very tender in general and if he isn’t too tired out he pens some notes down for his next song.

B -Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

I mean, listen, if he doesn’t really enjoy his chest and its abundance of hair he has a funny way of coping with insecurity so I’m gonna say he likes it. I think his favorite part of his partner changes with the partner (he enjoys finding little unique things about each person whether it’s freckles or an interesting birthmark or scar etc.) but I see him being a fan of a nice ass and a pretty mouth on any gender.

Jaskier is sufficiently experienced but always eager to get more practice in. He is very adept at pleasing many different bodies but that doesn’t make him cocky. Slipping into Modern!AU here because of course they had toys back in the day but I’m horrified at even the potential concept of splinters There. Yes, Jaskier enjoys toys and uses them on himself and on his partner and has toys his partners use on him (I’m talkin’ ‘bout the strap, lads). He invests a decent amount in quality toys and has a good sampling, some for more special occasions and some used regularly. He has some toys that are like his staple ingredients he will make sure to stock back up on when it dies (a good clitoral stimulating vibrator, for example). Also he has strong opinions about what you do and do not use to tie people up. You do not use handcuffs which can cause actual damage. Instead you use bondage tape or rope designed for it. Maybe a controversial opinion but I think our boy is a bit of a sex drive camel. He goes decent stretches sometimes without having much opportunity for it and I think he can be sustained for a bit after a really good night. So, I am very good at baking and I know how to clean as I’m cooking, but Mikhail is, to say the least, a bit of a whirlwind in the kitchen. Flour and sugar all over the counter, on his clothes, etc! Somehow, it’s really charming more than annoying. We’re making a devil’s food cake in a heart shape, and covering it with pretty pink frosting! At some point, I will probably for some icing on the top of his nose with my finger to tease him! That, and I’ll get some on my face and he’ll say “let me get that for you,” and kiss me to get it off my face. And then I’ll be flustered and then instead of actually icing the cake we’ll just end up making out for a little bit and THEN decorate it. I can’t tell if I want to do roses or hearts!!! Either way, we’ll make a pretty cake and a messy kitchen in the end.

Well, I HATE trying to look good in the rain because it makes my hair frizz up like crazy, and I hate having to mess up my nice shoes, and Lumi doesn’t like driving in it. It’s all just a mess, plus thunder kinda scares me unless I’m in my house. So instead, he and I will get in our most snuggly, soft pajamas (his are a yellow ochre colored wool, and mine are space-themed and cotton) and watch our favorite movies. My favorite movies are Arrival and Annihilation, and some of his are Hell House, Total Recall and Solace (I like them too, they are all very good!). Sometimes he likes to put on something really classically scary, like Splinter or Insidious, just to make me beg for him to cuddle me so I’m less scared. Sometimes, we just watch a comedy and one or both of us will fall asleep cuddling each other 💛

💌- You and your F/O making valentines cards for each other!

Lumi writes these long, beautifully thought out letters and poems that make me cry and remind me just how much we treasure and value each other. He will put a bunch of cute little stickers all over the card and overall it just makes my heart melt. Me, I like to draw pictures of us together and personalize the card that way, and usually the message is short and lighthearted, but always meaningful. Man now I’m just.....Valentine’s Day cards are the best.

🤬- Imagine trying to have a romantic Valentine’s date night with your f/o, but everything keeps going wrong!

(I know we just met this last June but I’m putting this in past tense deal with it) Even after calling to confirm our reservation THREE TIMES, the fancy restaurant we wanted to go to said that our table would be about an hour and a half later than it was supposed to be. We just took the L and decided to ditch it, and try to make the most of the night and cook a nice dinner at home instead, but when we went to the grocery store to get some steaks, they were sold out! Finally, we said “fuck this!” and went to my very very favorite local diner, which is never super busy. They got us a booth, and my favorite waitress was there, and asked why we were all dressed up. I told her about how the night had gone, and that we were just happy to be sitting down together, wherever we were eating. We ended up sharing fries and a strawberry milkshake, and it was honestly the best thing. I’m really glad it happened.
