if you do, maybe it's to an alarm. you've got obligations, but they wake up a bit anyways as they feel you shift just to wrap around you once more. they lay back down as you get dressed, and with their eyes still closed, you press a kiss to their lips. you'll miss them, but getting to feel their sleepy affection and gentle touches isn't a bad compensation.

or maybe you wake up beside each other naturally. light hits your eyes from the window, or a pet comes to wake you up. you get up just yet, though. you wrap yourself in your f/o's arms, who stirs to envelop you back. you've got the whole rest of the day to do nothing but enjoy each other's company, and you feel your eyes closing once more. your f/o's gaze is still locked on your face, taking in how beautiful you look when at peace.

hey idk if this is like a controversial take or if im weird for saying this but

as a nonsharing selfshipper, we shouldn’t say to doubles that they’re not our f/o’s partner. we know how much it hurts to be told that we aren’t our f/o’s partner, either by jealousy though seeing canon x canon ships, or being told it to our face by people who don’t selfship. but this doesn’t mean we should do that to doubles.

i was scrolling and i saw someone say along the lines of, “if you are __ f/o, you’re not.” and this was a character that was seemingly very popular within the fandom. this is hurtful and we all know this, and we shouldn’t explicitly tell them that they are not and you are. this is so mean. i don’t think i should have to say this part but if you were in their shoes how would you feel?

i don’t know it just bugged me ever since i saw that post and I just wanted to say that we should be more kind with our words towards doubles so they don’t feel invalidated either

also im not saying u can’t be nonsharing. im nonsharing with one of my f/os i just want to encourage people to be kinder

HELLO ALL! welcome to another year of selfshiptober. i've noticed this is pretty much the 'official' selfship tober event now, which honestly warms my heart! i love seeing what this wonderful community does with my prompts :)

this year, i'm doing things a little differently. EACH DAY HAS TWO PROMPTS ASSIGNED TO IT. the first set is SHIPPY, while the second set is SPOOKY. you may either COMBINE THE TWO PROMPTS TOGETHER or CHOOSE ONE OF THE PROMPTS. the spooky prompts are a bit on the grittier side and probably won't appeal to most, so if you'd like to only use the first set of prompts and completely ignore the second, be my guest! on the other hand, if you prefer the gritter prompts, you can only use the second set of prompts, you can do that too! if you want an extra challenge, you can create a piece that incorporates both of the day's prompts. you can also change your approach depending on how you feel that day!

I'm thinking abt when tumblr decided to be an ass and recommend me art of someone else shipping with johnny and what hurt even more was that they were kissinggg :(( idk I felt cheated on eventhough it was a while since I saw that drawing (and also I've blocked said person to prevent their posts from appearing on my fyp) it still hurtss

Also just needed to get this out of my system but it feels so ridiculous for me to not want to share f/os or get jealous when they're with someone else and I kinda wish I didn't feel that way with literal people who aren't real

I try to tell myself it's okay to not want to share but everytime I often find myself beating myself up for being a non-sharer and extremely possessive of my f/os uuuuufhhghhh
