A Different Kind of Kingdom Would Result in a Different Kind of World
There are many political systems and rulers in this world. One list shows that there are still 43 monarchies ( https://www.infoplease.com/world/social-statistics/kingdoms-and-monarchs-world ), although many of them are merely ceremonial or cultural in function. But kings and other rulers are instrumental in defining what goes on in their countries. If you look at the shape our world is in, what…

God's Love for Us
But God commends His own love to us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. — Romans 5:8 | Recovery Version (REC) The Recovery Version of the Holy Bible © 2009 Living Stream Ministry. Thoughts on Today's Verse… Interestingly, the Bible doesn't ever just say that God loves us. Instead, it says: "God demonstrated his love…" "In this is love, not that we loved God but that God loved us and gave…" "For God so loved the world that he gave…" Love is more than emotion or intention. True love, redemptive love, God-styled love is active; it does something. For us, Jesus did more than something; he sacrificed everything. What's more, he did it when we most needed it. He demonstrated his love when we were sinners!
The Thoughts on Today's Verse were written by Phil Ware.

We're Good at Condemnation. But Who Is Going to Judge the Judges?
If You think about it, all three “major” religions are pretty good at condemnation. It seems that we humans like to judge other humans, and we tend to like feeling superior to somebody else. I think it’s interesting, for instance, that Christians are known for being judgmental when in actuality our whole belief system, based on the Bible, should be steeped in love and forgiveness. The Bible does…

Romans 8:11 (NLT) “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”
Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV). “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [23] gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. ”
Acts 1:6-8 (NIV). Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
“The Power Within” By In Touch Ministries:
“The love we give will always have more impact in our world than the words we say.”
“If you’ve received Jesus as your Savior, then the One who raised Him from the dead—the Holy Spirit—resides within you (Romans 8:11)! Just think about the unsurpassed power needed to bring about the resurrection. And now God’s Spirit pours His energy into producing godliness in all who follow the Lord.
In Galatians 5:22-23, we read about the “fruit of the Spirit”—the character and conduct produced by the Holy Spirit. These are qualities that we can’t generate consistently on our own. Especially in this Christmas season, the most powerful message we can give isn’t a testimony or sermon; it’s the way we live our life. The world doesn’t need more festive decorations or empty songs. Instead, it needs to witness godly families loving one another, businesspeople working with integrity and frugality, and believers serving their neighbors.
By showing peace instead of anxiety, or patience instead of frustration, a Christian bears witness to the beauty of God’s good news. The strongest gospel message doesn’t necessarily come from a pulpit; it comes from wherever you work, live, and relax—because of Jesus Christ in you. During the next few weeks and on into the New Year, be mindful of the message you preach through your words and actions.”

While I know its unlikely I would really love for one of the next episodes of rwby to show a little bit of why Neo was so mad about Roman's death, like little bits of their friendship to show how close they were, so people who didn't read the book can understand Neo a little better and like. how close Roman and Neo actually were.

Connecting the Dots
I have learned to connect the dots on so many levels. God helps me with that. Daily. If I don’t have enough time to work out, rather than stress about it, I chill. No sense making an ado about nothing. Connect the dots of “chilling” on this day. Maybe my body needs a rest day. Yikes! I have a husband now! That means my morning routine has changed. I don’t have enough time to write two blogs –…
