FC Dallas struggled without Mauro Diaz in the past, but with a formation change and the emergence of Kellyn Acosta, the team hasn't missed a beat this season.

Here are the 2017 MLS players who make as little as or less than maximum NWSL salary:
None of them. The MLS minimum salary is $53,004. The NWSL maximum salary is $41,700.
Here are the 2017 MLS players who make in base salary (not counting guaranteed compensation) as much as or more than the combined 2017 team salary caps for all 10 teams’ 20-player NWSL rosters ($3.150,000):
Kaka
Michael Bradley
David Villa
Sebastian Giovinco
Andrea Pirlo
Bastian Schweinsteiger
Jozy Altidore
Giovani Dos Santos
Clint Dempsey
In other words, MLS teams pay these 9 players as much money as the total money it would take for 90 NWSL franchises to pay their combined 1,800 players.
Kaka, who makes a base salary of $6.6 million, earns enough money in salary to pay Marta’s $41,700 salary 158 times. That’s enough for nearly 8 full NWSL rosters full of Martas.
Or to put it another way, Kaka makes enough money to pay 232 NWSL players at $28,350, the median of the NWSL’s minimum and maximum salaries. That’s 10 rosters of 23-players each. The NWSL roster size maximum is 20.
Here are the 2017 MLS players who make as much as or more than the 2017 team salary cap for a 20-player NWSL roster ($315,000):
Diego Valeri
Maximiliano Moralez
Tim Howard
Miguel Almiron
Yura Movsisyan
Nemanja Nikolic
Romain Alessandrini
Shkelzen Gashi
Bradley Wright-Phillips
Fredy Montero
Nicolas Lodeiro

Federico Higuain
Sebastian Blanco
Kevin Doyle
Josef Martinez
Roger Espinoza
Xavier Kouassi
Albert Rusnak
Simon Dawkins
Kei Kamara
Antonio Nocerino

Mauro Diaz
Mix Diskerud

David Mateos Ramajo
Will Johnson
Antonio Mlinar Delamea

Chris Pontius
Matt Hedges
Kenwyne Jones
Carlos Rivas
Fredrik Gulbrandsen
David Ousted
Marcelo Sarvas
Cristian Techera
Kevin Molino
Christian Ramirez
Joao Plata
Maxime Chanot
Ashley Cole
Bill Hamid
Chad Marshall
Kendall Waston
Marco Donadel
Roland Alberg
Alexander Ring
Ricardo Clark
Dominic Oduro
Michael Parkhurst
Will Bruin
Jack McInerney
Maynor Figueroa
DaMarcus Beasley
In other words, each of these individual players makes more than the combined full salaries of every unallocated player on most NWSL rosters.
tl;dr: NWSL players need to unionize

Busio, Sporting KC tie FC Cincinnati 1-1
CINCINNATI — Gianluca Busio scored for the second consecutive game to help Sporting Kansas City to a 1-1 tie with FC Cincinnati on Sunday.
A 16-year-old homegrown, Busio made his third MLS start and has three goals in 367 career minutes.
Kelyn Rowe played an arcing pass from near midfield to a streaking Busio near the top of the box where defender Greg Garza and goalkeeper Spencer Richey, who came off his line, got tangled up allowing Busio to roll in an empty-netter that made it 1-1 in the 62nd minute.
Darren Mattocks, selected by FC Cincinnati (2-2-2) in the 2019 Expansion Draft after scoring 10 goals for D.C. United last season, converted from the spot in the 19th after Kansas City’s Roland Lamah drew a penalty conceded by Andreu Fontas.
Adrian Zendejas, a 23-year old making his MLS debut in place of Tim Melia (rest), had three saves — including a leaping stop of a free kick by Leonardo Bertone in stoppage time, for Sporting (2-1-2).
