Pixel nodded, noticing how dang fast Niji was zooming around.

They waited, eagerly watching the video end.

��10…9…8…7…6…” Pixel counted down. 

Niji was still zooming around, like a rainbow blur.

“...5…4…3…2…1. Now.” Booloo grinned.

As if on cue, her phone began to play more relaxing sounds, confusing a zooming, tranced Niji.

“The fuck?” he groaned and stopped running around, eyes still glazed. 

“...It’s getting late. You’re getting tired. Baseball game’s tomorrow.” He covered Niji up with a blanket.

“No…no I’m not tired…” Niji whined and tried to get the blanket off of him.

“Beg to differ.” Booloo teased quietly. “Pixie, you handle this.”

“Okay.” Pixel cooed. “Come here, Niji. We don’t want a repeat of that curse.”

“Noooo…Pixie…” Niji whined.

“...hmmmm…I could ask you to count sheep…but…no. You’d never beat your record.”

“I’m too excited to count.” Niji confirmed.

“...Okay.” Pixel sighed. “Reverse psychology did not work.”

He glanced at Booloo.

“Mind if I try a lullaby?” “Sure. Knock yourself out.” Pixel sighed.

Niji just grinned and began to run around more, making Pixel sigh.

“There's always tomorrow, for dreams to come true

Niji paused, looking around.

“We all pretend the rainbow has an end

And you'll be there my friend someday

Tomorrow is not far away”

He blinked a little, slowing down and wandering around.

Booloo held his hand as she sang, leading him to the bed and helping him up.

He groaned and began to close his eyes, still a little bit hyper.

“There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true

Tomorrow is not far away…”

He was out afterwards, now completely calm.

“...Like a Disney Princess.” Booloo whispered eagerly, holding his hand. “Shhhh. Pixel’s going to help you relax. It’s gonna be okay.”

Pixel giggled “Great job, Pika…”

ok so i saw shazam 2 (my first dc movie) and MAN.

freddy resisting kalypso's mind control like that when even the wizard who gave the shazfam those powers (i think, not a dc fan nor watched the original movie) was unable to? kinda buzz/robohino behavior ngl. might save that inspo for later.

also the relationship between freddy and billy was DEFINTELY nate/buzz material.

freddy venting about how he's a month older but billy's still overbearing as hell?

the two bragging and stuff and being playful rivals at least until billy fucking dies and he REALLY lets his grief out?

again. MAN this kid is buzz/robohino inspiration material.

also the whole shazfam dynamic is robodoki core as hell.

"Robopika Origins: Curses and Jewels and Stuffies, Oh My! (BONUS EPISODE)" Clip

“Look, I know you’re new here, but these guys mean a lot to me. More than you’ll EVER know. They helped me belong, they helped me gain a community, gain friends, and changed my life forever. Now freed from her bonds, she rushed in front of the possessed Doki, tackling her to the ground.

The barrier disappeared as Doki fell, her gem glowing brightly soon after.

“NO MATTER WHAT!”

“KIRURU!!!!”

One yell later, yellow light surrounded Booloo, and she received a compact in her hand. The yellow compact had a pink center, with a white faceted gem painted onto the center.

She looked at Pixel, dumbstruck.

Pixel shrugged, his smile sheepish.

“Congrats! You are the guardian of caring, with the power of gemstones!”

“Eh?” “You are filled with so much kindness for others, and you would do anything to make sure that they’re okay. Is that not the definition of immense caring?”

“I…I…”

“Hey, what’s with all the hesitating?” Pixel yelled out. “You wanted to become a Robodoki member for a long time, right?”

“Yeah…’ Booloo glanced at Doki, who was now aiming his keyblade at Pixel’s throat. “...but not like this.”

“Nobody gets chosen when they’re ready. The important thing is to not let your self doubts mess with your choice. Because I believe in you. Doki believes in you…we all believe in you, newbie, even during the bad days.” Nate struggled in Doki’s grip. 

“Besides, you’ll get to help so many people, and look damn good doing it, two things I know you not only like, but would die for the chance to do.”

Still a bit unsure, Booloo unclasped the compact, noticing the yellow A gems inside it.

“Yeah! What Nate said!” Kiruru’s voice giggled. “Now come on! Say the magic words you once wrote, and protect the ones you love most!”

“...You’re right. Besides, Aianna needs me.” Booloo declared. “And I’ll do anything to protect the ones I love!”

“That’s the spirit!” Nate cheered as Booloo began to pose. “Now give ‘em a pretty light show!”

“HELL YEAH!”
