“They tell me love is irrelevant, that royalty doesn’t get to fall in love,” Relta told her companion, looking up at them from where she was sitting down. “Do you believe not all are allowed to find love? That it’s limited by class?” She inquired, curious as to what they’d say.

Standing up, she turned to pour them both cups of tea. “Try this,” she offered a cup, not having done anything different to either of the cups of tea. She was an honest woman, usually, and one who wouldn’t act against someone unless in self-defense.

“I find tea soothing,” she confessed as she sat back down, nursing her own cup of steaming tea, enjoying it rather hot. “I drink it with honey after I give speeches,” she added, the honey soothing to her throat after giving rallying speech.

“I’m uncertain as to who saved me from the castle and tended to my wounds, but all I know now is that I’ve been named the new sheriff of Nottingham,” Sir Guy informed his companion, troubled by the news.

“I wanted out of politics when I was supposed to die. This puts me in a more precarious situation than even when Vaisey and Prince John were alive,” he explained, his brow furrowed with stress.

“Hopefully I can make amends with the townspeople…not that I deserve forgiveness,” Guy added, looking down with guilt for what he’d done under Vaisey’s instructions.

This is an RP blog inspired by Prince of Thieves, it is an RP blog specifically for Will Scarlet. I don’t take inspiration from anything other the 1991 Prince of Thieves adaptation but I am possibly open to crossovers - including crossovers with other adaptions of Robin as long as the people who want to do this kind of RP are ok with me taking my inspiration for my character solely from this 1991 blockbuster adaptation along with possibly my own headcannons for him.

I am semi-lit to advanced literate though since I like detail in rps I tend to prefer lit to advanced literate partners more, as this keeps me more enganged, also juts a pre warning if you want to tp with this blog there a a few things I wouldn’t be willing to shift on and I’ll list them below, as I am hoping to find rp partners who would be willing to accommodate this.

1. I would be playing Will Scarlet as significantly younger than the vast majority of the Robin Hood characters and even most other versions of Will Scarlet I have come across, like I’d be playing him as 19, just what I am most comfortable with, any other makes me uncomfortable with regards to this character as I just can’t see it.

2. For anyone who’s seen Robin Hood Prince of thieves, they’ll remember that in that movie Will Scarlet is Robin’s half-brother. A plot twist I personally really can get behind and love. It’s so cool I personally find it really cool, and I would prefer to keep it or at least agree on something regarding it.

Wanted Opposites: Robin Hood 

In canon Kevin Costner is Robin Hood in my Will Scarlet’s movie - ‘Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves’ - so ideally he’s my most wanted for Scarlet. However considering how Robin Hood is a historical/legendary character there’s been a ton of portrayals so I literally just want any Robin to interact with. Non-shipping.

The Queen’s gaze was calm, her emerald eyes sparkling in the light of the dancing candlelight. She had recently finished fully healing from her coup against her uncle, Prince John, and was attempting to make amends with the people on the behalf of the monarchy. Queen Relta had finished listening to the people of Nottingham’s concerns, having her scribe take down the information so she could address things in a timely and well calculated manner.

An advisor slowly walked over to the exhausted young monarch, Relta looking up at them with a brow raised. “You need not fear speaking to me,” she informed them with a gentle smile, “I was raised as a commoner, so I do not feel comfortable with such formalities.”

The advisor seemed startled by Relta’s honesty and openness, more familiar with the cruelty of Prince John and Sheriff Vaisey. They cleared their throat, looking a bit scared still, “you are taking on a lot with all the complaints of the common folk and elites alike. Your counsel, myself included, are concerned you’ll burn out and make enemies.”

Relta blinked, regaining the calm expression she’d earlier had, then shrugged in response to the advisor’s words. “I’m well aware of the risks, but I need to heal Nottingham. To heal England,” she explained to them with a solemn tone. “England’s people are my priority. I shall be fine,” she insisted.

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves Rp

I find myself longing to do a Prince of Thieves Rp, as in Robin Hood prince of Thieves, I would be the one playing Will Scarlet for this - and we discuss this more in detail in pms but ideally I want want to do something platonic between Will and Robin so I am looking for someone willing to play Robin of Loxley/Robin Hood, I don’t have a specific plot for this but I would happy to come up with something together.

I am fine for you to take inspiration from other versions of Robin outside of the 1991 Prince of Thieves I just won’t personally, not for Will Scarlet, I actively despise any other versions of Will Scarlet’s character because they feel wrong to me - and yes I am well aware Christian Slater can’t do a British accent to save his life but still I heavily prefer his portrayal of Will Scarlet and I do want to stick to the Prince of Thieves sub storyline of him being Robin Hood’s younger half brother, I just need this.

“If you shoot, I shall have to as well,” Relta stated confidently, raising her bow and arrow. They seemed to be unique, perhaps obtained in another country, unlike her possible opponents’ English bow.

“I do not wish to harm you or be harmed,” she added, taking one step toward the other, lowering her bow and arrow slowly, letting the string go loose as she did. She came off as cocky, but rather was simply trying to defuse the situation.

She’d already had to face one unfriendly face that day, Sir Guy of Gisborne, who had tried taking her head as he could easily recognize who she likely was the daughter of, King Richard, after his…vacation to the Holy Land. Now that she was known, she had to be more careful and stay out of villages to avoid endangering the people in them.
