I actually really like robby and tory together even though I initially thought I wouldn’t, but their relationship is pretty unhealthy. the reason robby is so unbalanced without tory is because she is maybe the only person in his life who truly loves him and believes in him. so when he loses that, it only highlights the absence of it in the rest of his life and unravels every other aspect of his life and the relationships within it. and i just know that we are likely going to be forced to watch miguel and johnny give him “tough love” when he inevitably underperforms in the tournament—and im sure it will work—but it will also be unsatisfying as a viewer because robby doesn’t need tough love, he just needs actual love. he needs to be prioritized by the adults around him and supported unconditionally, even when he fails.

I know Robbie is supposed to be one of those edgy ass losers who constantly talk about how fucked up they are in the head despite having a completely normal homelife, but like... Idk man, he lives in a graveyard with parents who use glass caskets WITH BODIES INSIDE for tables, casually call him by his full legal name when they aren't even mad for some fucking reason, and are just kinda. Scary in general. I think he kinda has a right to be Like That, y'know? Obviously I'm not trying to excuse him being a douche or whatever(seriously who the fuck beefs with a 12 year old because the kid has a crush on their girlfriend?), but I think a lot of his personality makes much more sense when you look at him through the lense of "this is a 16 year old who was raised in a relatively isolated and scary part of town, with parents who do not treat serious things like death with the gravity those subjects deserve". Nobody that was raised in that kind of environment is gonna turn out well adjusted are you kidding me!?

So I actually sat down to watch the BBC special of TT Boybands Forever cause I was really interested after the way Robbie talked about Gary being stitched up and also I just love watching this kinda stuff just finished the Boyzone Documentary. Let's just say I have thoughts - I'm going to put them in the tags (and I had a lot of thoughts). I'd say it's worth watching yourself and making your own opinion.

One of the reasons why I love birds of prey so much is because it’s not just a comic book movie but it’s a comic book movie, it feels like you’re reading a comic when you’re watching it, it’s not just taking the source material and turning it into a film it actually has the vibe of the comics! Especially as someone who reads Harley Quinn comics it’s so fun to see her talking to the audience and breaking the fourth wall like she does in the comics and the pacing of it is so very Harley with the way she goes from one thing to the next so quickly and then circles back like “oh wait I forgot to tell you this!” And it’s just so fun!!!! I also love seeing all the little references to her comic runs like the mallet, Bernie, her hyena! (although I’m sad it’s not Bud and Lou) it’s just a really great movie that I enjoy a lot and I think is probably the best live action characterization of Harley Quinn. (in my opinion)

YES. That girl can DANCE and she loves it!! I feel in the 19th and 20th century everyone could do a bit of social dancing because thats just what people did for fun. I think the Parkers and the Watsons both taught their kids to dance 'older' stuff they would have done when they were younger, like a solid waltz, quadrille, two-step, polka, what have you. MJ learned them all with fervor. Pete... learned some of them.

I think MJ and Pete would probably do (east coast) swing most often. Because they are hip and of the times. I think Pete probably would have had MJ and Robbie get to know each other through dance, actually. Like Robbie was around the welfare center when MJ was and Pete immediately was like Yes, now MJ can practice with him and not me (ultimate backfire because how he's got 2 partners)! Harlem is definitely the hot spot for swing, with black Americans engineering the whole thing. MJ was totally ecstatic to have a friend over there to run into who was a ready and willing partner!

I do have to say that MJ is a total back lead when it comes to Peter. They will ARGUE on the floor (in good fun). She'll be like 'do that one move I just taught you!' or 'If you fumble this texas tommy i'll kill you' or 'ok on this next backstep we're doing Charleston... aaand triple step, back step.' And Peter will snark back. Whenever she really wants to piss him off she'll make him practice Balboa (he thinks it looks stupid).

People are so sick they make me want to vomit. Stop writing like Robby cheated on his girlfriend when he was raped, stop acting like it was cheating and not the fucking rape, my god, I have no patience for that kind of people because it's the height of stupidity.

People hate him for nothing and for nothing. And yes I say nothing, don't get me wrong, I completely understand the whole situation of the third season, but fuck it??? If the characters themselves forgave, moved on (not in the way I wanted it to be developed, but you can't expect much from a Netflix series) what the fuck are you going to do?? ( And I'm not even going to say my opinion about the fight because it would be an even bigger outbreak)

They put Kyler as a joke, Tory as a very deep plan that was never touched on again and now Zara and Robby as cheating??? It's disgusting.

I search the Robby Keene tag on ao3 and I want him to be comforted by someone trustworthy (give him happiness, I dare you Netflix) and so far I've only found three, three that were actually good, because the rest either make the situation 100% worse for no reason or are about things that have nothing to do with the situation. Give him a trustworthy adult who actually works, here we believe that Amanda would have done it differently and that she would see the situation because she seems to be the only sane one in this whole karate thing (and Shawn, but that's another thing).

I hate that they're going to treat it as a cheat plot in the last part, I hate that they're going to romanticize this as much as fucking hell and that it's going to fuck with Robby even more for no reason. It was completely UNNECESSARY to put SA there or at all other times and it's not even used for character development, for the plot, or who knows what, but for a fucking joke, a cheat plot to mess with the best couple in the series.

Fuck it, forever faithful to the opinion that Robby deserves much more.

The thing with Megstiel is that there is so much potential for a positive relationship between an angel and a demon, both of whom rebelled from their respective positions, both of whom are inhabiting bodies that are not their own (in order to exist as an agent in the world they HAVE to be doing something blatently immoral that explicitly hurts someone), both of whom are reckoning with the impossible weight of the hideous things they have done to survive: to their own people, to humans, to themselves and are at vastly different points on their journies to Personhood. And we know that Supernatural is CAPABLE of delving into those kinds of dark mirrors and conflicting ideologies (season 5 is pretty much everyone saying their personal philosophies out loud to each other like it's a morality play). It is CAPABLE of subtly and unresolved emotions and sticky, uncomfortable but solid relationships.

And then we get to Meg's final episode and the dialogue between them is atrocious. "You're kinda bad...and I'm kinda good." "Let's move some furniture around."

Like. Jesus Christ. Was this a first draft? I know the big focus was the Crypt Scene but even Rachel Miner couldn't save those lines. And she has saved some BAD lines while playing Meg.

i know some people think bells hells are deliberately forgetting about dorian but i really don’t think so even if it might seem like it. i just think dorian has been really quiet and it feels like we just hear/see less of him bc he prefers to keep to the background, which i know robbie said was deliberate at least when it came to how quiet dorian was during ludinus’ whole speech so i imagine it’s still deliberate now
