Saw this recent Alex Ross cover that's a pastiche of Rob Liefeld and it's so fascinating. Every Liefeldiansim under the sun packed into one image by a guy who's probably one of the most talented to ever do it. The eye flair, the contortionist poses, the questionable dimensions of the weaponry, the ambiguity of where anyone's feet are located (except for wolverine, who's airborne), the tight faces, the weird shit going on with the muscles. All rendered in that classic painterly style. Fine line between homage and parody when the subject is Rob Liefeld
