❝ Drew Phillipa was a pretty normal teenage boy. He'd grown up on Riverdale's Northside, in a decently nice house, with two parents who loved and always supported him. He was a starter on the Riverdale High basketball team. He earned pretty good grades, hung out with his teammates and best friend Jughead in his spare time, and, occasionally, made out with a sexuality-questioning Archie Andrews in various alleyways and empty classrooms.

(Okay, so maybe that last part wasn't super normal, but given that nobody but he and Archie knew about it, Drew figured it didn't have to count in the analysis of his life.)

But it would seem that normal things aren't meant to last in the town of Riverdale, because over the past few months, Drew's world had gotten turned upside down more than a few times. First there was the murder of Jason Blossom, whom Drew had also made out with a few times before he'd gotten engaged to Polly Cooper. Then there was the investigation that Jughead had been roped into, the revelation that Jason's own father had killed him and that Jughead's dad, who was also a gang leader, had been involved in it, and then Clifford's Blossom's subsequent suicide and Cheryl Blossom's burning down of her family's mansion.

And then, to top it all off, Drew's loving, supportive parents are killed in a car accident shortly after FP Jones's conviction.

Now, several months after his parents' joint funeral, Drew is finally moving to the Southside to live with his aunt and uncle alongside his best friend. Jughead seems reluctant to associate with the Southside Serpents, the gang his father formerly led, but Drew is smarter than that; he knows that two former Northsiders like them are going to need protection if they want to survive here. Unfortunately, the Serpents at Southside High see Drew as nothing more than a naïve Northsiders trying to join a gang to be cool, and basically refuse to take Drew on as a member unless FP Jones's son will join with him. And Jughead seems intent on staying a loner.

Still, Drew is determined to charm his way into the crew of teenage Serpents - especially when he sees how cute their leader is. Fangs Fogarty doesn't seem to think anything more of Drew than the rest of his friends, but Drew is nothing if not determined to worm his way into the boy's good graces and gain the protection he can't help feeling like he'll need.

Fighting with his best friend, living in a world without his parents, actively trying to join a gang, and slowly falling for said gang's leader... yeah, Drew's fairly sure he's now the exact opposite of a pretty normal teenage boy. ❞

Plot Bunnies: Juliet Adler

A woman was escaping her life in New York City, escaping her abusive boyfriend and her dreary existence. Gone was her name before- to be replaced by “Juliet Adler”.

Juliet ran away to the town of Riverdale, as far as she could afford to go and still have enough to cover rent. Being taken pity on by Pop Tate, she’s hired to work at his town touchstone of a diner.

There, she meets a number of Riverdale’s citizens- including one FP Jones. It doesn’t take long at all to find Juliet infatuated with the older man, despite her better judgment. It takes just a bit longer for her to find that maybe FP is equally infatuated with her.

Juliet’s past is not too as far behind her as she would like to believe though.

Can her and FP weather the storm together?

Day 11: Ghost AU

After Willow Benson successfully kills Dot Cahill, her spirit can't rest. Not when she knows she left behind family and friends who will never understand why she had to go so early. So she stays. And she tries to give them little messages, hoping they will realize it's her trying to contact them. When she finds out her murderer is still running loose, basking in the glory of getting away with it all, Dot knows she must do something. Before she can truly stop herself, she has inhabited the body of a dying coma patient and goes after Willow once and for all.

OC HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE — Day Seven: The Comedic Relief

An AU in which a mysterious supernatural force is tearing through the town of Riverdale, killing several unlucky and unsuspecting teens… but even the danger of being the next one to die, as well as the fact that he actually believes in the supernatural, won’t stop Drew Phillipa from cracking some of his best jokes.

Honestly, they make even the scariest movies bearable. They're almost never the main character but almost always the most liked. They say laughter is medicine for the soul, so which of your ocs soothes the characters and the situation with a joke made at the worst of times?
