As Frostpaw was struggling to make sense of all of it, she felt something warm and soft slip into the nest beside her. When she opened her eyes, she nearly gasped—Mistpaw and Graypaw had snuck into the medicine cat den and were snuggling in on each side. “Shhh,” Mistpaw whispered. “No cat knows we’re here. But we needed to be near you now.” Frostpaw licked her sister’s ear gratefully. “It's hard to believe.” Graypaw mewed. “But… we're all we have now.” Frostpaw wiggled closer to her siblings, and at last she slipped into uneasy dreams.
I loved when Mistpaw and Graypaw snuck into the medicine den to comfort Frostpaw at the end of River! 💙 Definitely my favorite A Starless Clan scene with all three RiverClan Triplets supporting each other, and I finally made artwork of it! 😊
Mistpaw looking up, and the light streaming into the den, is a faith reference that I hadn't planned but was blessed with. In my deepest moments of despair Jesus has brought me peace and brought me through every single time as He does for all who look to Him. ✝️ So drawing my favorite kitty looking up to the Light with a serene expression behind her sadness was a special detail. 😊

Yess this, very relatable. 😭
Can I have Mistpool?? 🥺 My baby girl who got so neglected by the narrative and just wants to be a sweet kitty who is loved.. (We can share her, she needs all the care she can get.)
Anyway, I'm off to get the adoption paperwork for Frostdawn, Graysky, and Mistpool sorted out. Thank you and good night!

WOOOO FINALLY STAR IS OUT Spoilers below the cut, obviously, but I think most of the spoilers are from the names...
So to start off, we have the Riverclan triplets in Graysky, Mistpool, and Frostdawn. Graysky and Mistpool are mostly the same, but there are still a few changes. Frostdawn changed completely. I came up with this new design for her ages ago, but I wanted to wait until she got her full name to post it. The waiting took FOREVER. The smaller scar on her neck is from Splashtail's first attack on her, it was initially a much larger wound, however the advanced medical care from the Twolegs made it heal better and therefore left a smaller scar. TNR ear tip, and I'd imagine the flank scar would go away after a while, but I thought I should put it anyway. After them is Whistlebreeze! A duller brown but still brown. I don't know what to call the little tufts of fur under her cheek fur, but I really like them on her <3. Then is newly crowned Icestar! You go girlie I am eagerly awaiting new PMVs and MAPs about you now that you're in the spotlight. I included below where the star would have gone on her old design, I didn't change the design because the star wouldn't fit, I changed it because she needed a new design; I wasn't satisfied with the old one anymore. After is Splashtail. Okay, look - his old design is nice to look at, but there's just too much going on. It's not cohesive, and I was having trouble remembering all the little details. So here's a new one. Gave him little fangs as a trade off for changing it so drastically again. Then is Berryheart, her design didn't really change I just wanted to fix her shapes and make the colors more contrasting. Then is Riverstar, whose design really changed. I think he looks like a blue jay now. And finally a new design for Dark Forest Curlfeather. It's the exact same base design, but now with her visceral death wounds. Oh and the curls/spirals on her body are more squarish in death, just to make them look more dense or matted.

AWWWW this is so adorable!!
Thank you Whis 🥺 I would treasure the heartfelt gift from my little friend. ❤️
Okay so this reminds me of how I made this picrew of Whistlepaw a while back, and my sister captioned it, "She brought you some wet moss... she loves you."
So apparently this is something Whis does to express care and affection! 😊
How would Whistle's friends receive the gift??
I'm pretty sure Frostpaw would appreciate any gesture of kindness from her best friend, she'd accept it gratefully for sure.
Graypaw would like it because he think it's a mossball lol. Maybe he and Flutterfoot would play together.
Mistpaw would be so touched and grateful and also excited that they're close enough friends for Whis to think of her. And I could see her cuddling it at night like a pillow, taking comfort in how it reminds her of her friend's kindness. :')
@sagekjs21 Any headcanons? Crowfeather or Berryheart or Sunbeam? This is so fun! 😊
(Oh, I also have this headcanon that Mistpaw brings Frostpaw soaked moss a lot, so I wonder if the sisters would relate to the gift because of that)
@ghosts-and-blue-sweaters just gonna tag you because this is such a cute picture and I thought you might appreciate it :)
daily whistlepaw until moss becomes PoV day 1362

Small ramble, I find it a little funny that the fandom never explored the half-clan/kittypet aspects of hawkfrost and Mothwing (me included up until the recent fixation) and I feel like there’s so much potential there given the history of their family. Tigerstar hated his kittypet traitor of a father, but he breaks the code and sires children born of blood he sees as “beneath him”. Also like, this would definitely effect how RiverClan saw the twins, (as I like to call them even though they arent they are triplets rip tadpole) Not only as Tigerstars kits but largely as halfclan cats of a cat who wasn’t even RiverClan with kittypet blood. I always feel the logical direction would’ve been RiverClan as a whole being greatly unsure of both of their loyalties even without the tigerstar relation because of how horrible the clans are to outsiders. I also just have the headcanon that hawkfrost having grown up a loner has never been able to abandon those roots entirely and hates the concept of halfclan discrimination, (even though I’m pretty sure canonically he does use this against stormfur at some point — I’m just exhausted by the hypocrisy of most characters who are halfclan or kittypet descendant and do the whole “you’re not a real warrior” song and dance) and that adding that hawkfrost isn’t inherently wrong or even has bad intent with his ideas being morally good, but his means being destructive and his philosophy, being by all means necessary, not taking into account the kind of sacrifices he’s making on everyone else behalf for this vision.
In short, Eric killmonger no I won’t stop loving this villain archetype.
#warrior cats#wc#hawkfrost#ramblings#I’m sorry but I think it’s really neat#also it connects him to Firestar in some way and that’d be cool.#small note; think with me for a moment#what if like everyone does for firestars lineage with callbacks to scourge#both pinestar and the Sashatiger kids have markings that represent tags on a collar#and Hawkfrost’s is also right where he gets stabbed at#it also explains why tigerstar likes him less#he’s a hypocrite but tigerstar has always somewhat been like that#and he can’t stand his half clan kittypet blooded children

A favorite headcanon of mine: Whistlepaw and Mistpaw are close friends.
They're both my favorite characters in the ASC arc so there's that, they're both sweet gentle and caring cats, and I just think they could have a wonderful bond if they got to know each other. Supportive and pure friendships are such a blessing, and I love having this one to write and make art for.
Frostpaw too, of course. All three of them have a wonderful platonic/familial bond that I enjoy so much. I imagine that Mistpaw felt left out when Frostpaw had a close friend, she desperately wanted to also be friends with Whistlepaw whom she quickly recognized as a kindhearted and pleasant cat from what Frostpaw said and from what she saw at gatherings. She wrestled with jealousy but she defeated it, and found gratitude that her sister had a supportive friend.
Mist and Whistle could bond over their grief and worry for Frostpaw- the best friend and sister of a cat who is tragically missing, they could comfort each other. Whistlepaw could have told Frost's siblings in secret about her survival. They could pray for her together.
I also enjoy seeing them as Frostpaw's emotional support system who support each other as well. And in loving their friend/sister, in caring together, they develop their own bond as well. Frost's sister and friend who are also now friends with each other. And sisters kind of.. with both Frostpaw and Mistpaw -and Graypaw who got pulled into this lol- Whistlepaw is a friend who has become like a sister.
They are grateful for the friendship between them, enjoy chatting together, and extending kindness to other cats together. Bonding over faith, thoughtfulness, and compassion. Mistpaw "threatens" to teach whistle to swim but is patient with her, Whis teaches her about herbs which she learns eagerly, they both have a liking for insects and nature. Mistpaw hopes they'll end up with the matching names of Mistmorning and Whistledawn.
Mistpaw and Whistlepaw are close loving and supportive friends... this is a headcanon I am sure about and enjoying writing. :)

I was wondering, in the rewrite you're thinking of for the RiverClan Triplets, do you have any established headcanons for their personalities and interactions? Because I'd be very eager to hear those if you want to share :D especially for my underrated favorite Mistpaw.
Like I said, I've been excitedly working on a whole fanfiction arc from Mistpaw's point of view, and I've grown quite fond of this kitty and her story.
In my eyes, Mistpaw has always been the affectionate sibling, super devoted to her loved ones, kind of quiet and awkward but she's chaotic around those she trusts, and her flaw which she faces in my story is being hesitant to speak up when she needs to.
I'd be curious to hear about your takes on her and her siblings' personalities! It's fun hearing different ideas and neither Mist nor Gray tend to be talked about as much as they could be.
Alas, I don't really have a feel for them so no.
In canon they're so background they're blank slates and the thing about a blank slate is that it can often be paralyzing. Where do you even begin to put that first stroke? It can be scary to begin narrowing the scope of the endless possibilities and thinking you've messed it all up. It's much easier to work with a more defined personality.
That said... unless I'm misremembering you're the one who's written most of the fics on the Frostpaw & Graypaw & Mistpaw (Warriors) tag, aren't you? I remember your username and I think we've crossed paths once before on this website. If so, I have to say your fics are a great source of inspiration! :)
I remember Mist being more the one who takes it upon herself to try and fill the void of affection Frost is feeling, the one most insecure about her future, the one who frets about her place. And I remember Gray putting on an air of stoicism and strength, trying to be the rock for his sister, masking on a goofy side as he tries to be the big brother around.
I think those are compelling! I'd love to see more of them and more of your vision for your fic. My DMs and asks are open to you whenever you'd like to hit me up.

"Graypaw!" stirring, the cat let out a soft growl and Berryheart flinched in indignation at the light swat of a white-tipped paw. The voice trailed off in a purr as the cat buried her face deeper between her paws. "Stop being such a brother..."
This will be as hard as I thought, won't it?
"Come on, get up."
"Five more heartbeats, Icewing…" the young cat pleaded in a sleepy mumble, rolling over with a yawn.
Knowing she had to wake this cat, Berryheart brushed away the memories that had come up, how Sunbeam had loved to sleep in as a kit...
"I'm not Icewing." And I don't have time for this.
Just as Berryheart leaned over to shake the cat awake once and for all, her wide eyes flew open.
"Where am I?"
"How am I supposed to know that?" Berryheart sighed dismissively, inwardly frustrated and concerned that she didn't know where she herself had ended up. "A better question would be, what's your name? I've seen far too many of your like to possibly keep track of."
"M-Mistpaw," she replied. "And there's three of us. There's.."
She let out a gasp as she looked around from one side to the other.
"Where are my littermates?" Her voice quaked and Berryheart felt a pang of sympathy seeing the little cat's gaze dart frantically in all directions. "I never sleep alone, there's usually Frostpaw-"
"And Graypaw," Berryheart put in.
Mistpaw nodded.
"And they were in the den next to me when we went to sleep last night but... Oh, Berryheart," she looked like she was holding back from flinging herself on the deputy's shoulder as her voice broke, "What if they're lost?"
We're the ones who are lost. Berryheart thought, unsure what to do as she watched the scene unfold in front of her.
"What if they're scared? What if-" Mistpaw broke off, catching her breath and murmuring a prayer before glancing up, eyes blurred with sleep and distress. "If they're lost I have to find them."
Berryheart stood up and Mistpaw dashed up to her with an imploring purr. "Please help.."
Weirdness
@pinestripe37 Ok, playing off of your downloading dream comment, my actual downloading dream from the other night, and using our favorite Warriors characters, let's do something random here.
One day, Berryheart opened her eyes to an unknown place. Trees towered several fox lengths above the black and white she cat's head, yet they smelled not the faintest bit like the lake territories.
Glancing around in bewilderment, she spotted the curled up form of another she cat, a torbie with white markings.
What in the name of StarClan is this cat's name again?
Letting out an inpatient huff, Berryheart gave the sleeping cat a hard prod in the side, claws sheathed.
"Wake up!" It's too bad we're not at the lake. I have a feeling dunking this cat temporarily in water will be the only effective way of rousing her,
Your turn!
@dragoneyes618 Feel free to keep reading if you're interested. Also, feel free to send this to any Warriors fans you may be in contact with on here. No idea whatsoever where this story is going. 😊

Ohhh, ok, I get it now. Second question- How do the clans handle litters with three kittens?
maple and the river is a thunder and riverclan myth only; windclan and shadowclan have, at most, a vague idea of it. the story also changes between the two clans; in thunderclan, lord riverripple is the main antagonist, while in riverclan, it's mapleshade & lord thunderstorm who are the issues.
all this is to say that the litter of three problem only happens in thunderclan. it's a problem that crops up when you have a litter of four and one dies, or a litter of two and you adopt a kit of a similar age. if you have a litter of three but one or two die, then wham bam, no more problem.
OBVIOUSLY THEY DO NOT KILL THE KITTENS. no mother would allow that unless she did not deserve to be a mother. instead, triplets in thunderclan are treated with the utmost concern. they always have someone to keep an eye on them, and the clan in general is almost overprotective. this lasts until about middle to late apprenticeship, when there's absolutely no more chance that mapleshade could mistake them for hers.

Longstar AU Three to Tango part 1
Howdy y’all, I’m back at again with the AU - I can’t promise one a day lore dumps after this, because I only have up until the Battle against the Dark Forest - and then it’s just little details and disconnected thoughts at the moment, but I’ll give what I’ve got until it’s complete. And thanks for the likes and follows - it’s really flattering for someone not in my direct friends/family to like my stuff. Anyhoo enough feelings lets goooooo!
Biggest difference, Skyclan. Wasn’t reformed just yet, but I’ll get to that shortly. Longstar’s sight is beginning to fail him, but he can still see the colors of his grandkit’s pelts. Another difference, because of the cross-clan-relationship-agreement, the Three are well aware of their parentage - he visits at least twice a moon, and was there to see them apprenticed off. They’re well loved, have plenty of support from families in both clans, especially their aunt Foxflight and Uncle Shrewleg. Those two have been trying for kits, but Shrewleg’s injury may have left him unable to father any kits - but they don’t mind it too much. Maybe someday. And Whitestorm, beloved Deputy, has stepped down. His age is starting to catch up, and he’s happy to help out, but he knows leadership just isn’t in his future. He suggests Brightheart, who happily accepts as Cloudtail and Whitewing cheer ecstatically! Pretty sure the Tribe heard that!
Lionpaw apprentices to Darkmoon, with Fireheart acting as support mentor if needed. Jaypaw gets two mentors, Brightheart for his regular training, and Snowthorn for working with his senses - Brightheart translates Snowthorn’s sign language when his words just don’t work as well. Eventually Longstar joins the sessions when his vision dims. And Hollypaw isn’t as much a stickler for the Code, understanding that rules can change, and she stands as evidence of that. She’s aiming for Deputy, hopefully Leader, but is content to support her clan how she can. Canon continues until...
At the Gathering, Jay hears Mousepaw flirting with Minnowpaw, and wonders if there’s going to be another cross-clan couple. But as he’s telling Hollypaw, there’s a commotion at the back of the crowd. A pair of mollies appear - it’s the long thought dead Sandstorm! And some kittypet but Sandstorm yaaaay! Foxflight nearly knocks her over in excitement, and Longstar greets his missing clanmate. Coldlight actually shows an emotion! The Gathering disperses, and Greystripe offers to escort the kittypet, oh your name’s Millie? An honor madame I am -enchanted- to meet you. It’s apparent immediately that they’re making heart eyes at each other but it’s cute! Millie and Daisy have a giggle about how cute and chivalrous he is.
When Sandstorm settles back in, she grabs Longstar, Fireheart, Flamewish, Darkmoon, Foxflight, and Swiftpool and tells them her adventure. She was adopted by a twoleg who owned Millie, and the two escaped fairly quickly. She met an elderly tom named Skywatcher, and founded Skyclan again, leaving Leafstar in charge, and receiving a prophecy about Three of Flame and Fire’s kin. It’s agreed to keep it quiet until they’re all sure about who it’s about. Could be Swiftpool, Foxflight, and Whitewing? Cloudtail no probably not him. After the conversation, Canon continues until...
The competition! Lionpaw’s back at camp, and Jaypaw’s having a rest, Lionpaw has a vision of Hollypaw and another dark-pelted cat falling, and feels choked by dust and dirt, and Jaypaw sees the vision as a dream. The two call for aid, and Hollypaw and Breezepaw are rescued from the old fox den. Jaypaw is suspicious, but maybe it’s a triplet thing? He and his sibs have always been super close. Hollypaw and Breezepaw begin a very odd friendship, as Crowfeather is his father, but only as a surrogate for Nightcloud - those two are just good friends, but Breezepaw wants a close relationship. The unlikely half-sibs decide to meet up every few nights, in secret, as insisted by Breezepaw. He doesn’t want his mom to know he’s being -social-. Canon continues until...
Late after one meeting, Hollypaw, who told her parents about the meetings because she’s not a fool, wanders through a part of the forest that looks unfamiliar. She hops over a root, and two large brown tabby toms are waiting for her - Tigerstar and Brambleclaw! They try to woo her into training with them, promising to make her a great warrior. She blinks, and then laughs right in their faces, like absolutely loses it. Why would she want to train with two cats who lost? Like really badly lost? Ohohoho how funny! She leaves, chuckling, and the next thing she knows, she’s in her mossy bed, in the apprentice den. What a weird dream! Meanwhile Tigerstar and Brambleclaw are seething, but vow to try again at a later night.
And that’s it for tonight! Tune in next time for Riverclan gets invaded by toddlers. the Tunnels is the worst waterpark ever, and the Tribe asks for Storm and Brook back. Thanks for reading!

Human Misty AU
The triplets were 10 when their little cousins Reedkit, and Perchkit join their lives. Stonefur had sat them all down and informed all of them about how Blackclaw's extremely rich family still wanted the agreed upon four children, and while Pikepaw, Primrosepaw, Feathertail, and Stormheart did reach middle school, only 2 had graduated high school and 2 were dead. Blackclaw's sperm is still frozen, and they still like a few heirs 5o pick from to run Riverclan finance. Mistyfoot agrees, and thus Reedkit and Perchkit join their little family.
Frogpaw watches how Hawkpaw makes it his responsibility to make sure Reedkit and Perchkit both know how to read, write, speak, and sing before preschool starts.
Mothpaw has decided that the twins will know how to multiply up to 12, and add up to 15 and has adjusted all of her school breaks into teaching the twins just that.
Frogpaw? He's set aside his schedule to record this oncoming disaster.
hm. very interesting. not anything i'm personally interested in, but very interesting indeed.
also *eyes* who graduated high school out of pikepaw and primrosepaw bc feathertail didn't.
feathertail starts studying again when she's eighteen or so. but -- she has a lot of learning to catch up on. the last time she received formal education was when she was nine. she's smart, sure, but she's still functionally illiterate.
so you know. it takes her a lot of time to get there. she takes the test (and passes) when the triplets are around...13, maybe? not sure.
(there are four tests and she takes them all individually. she doesn't really have the Mental Stamina to take them together.)
anyway sorry i just have all of these fun facts about this. feathertail gets frustrated bc she knows all this stuff but she can't Recognize it written down. and the Amount of stuff there is to learn seems so daunting.
third grade math is. learning how to multiply. area and perimeter. that sort of thing. and she has to learn how to do algebra and graph and honestly does she remember how to multiply?
it's hard. she's very proud of herself when she finishes, but it's hard.
but you know like. she gets frustrated a lot at first. stormheart is the one who pushes her because -- from mistyfoot or stonefur, you know, it's very Parental and Pushy -- but he has to be Really Patient with her.
#ask#anon#mine#misty au#human misty au#sorry i ended up rambling about feathertail's ged lmao#look there's a lot of little things that i have thought about#and as soon as someone mentions them#i latch onto them like a shark smelling blood#y'know?#Feathertail

Warriors Rewrite Pt 8: The New Prophecy
Quick note: this is going to be a short summary of all 6 books
The first book takes place seven moons after the epilogue of Firestar's Quest. Tawnypelt has just been named a warrior, her ceremony is late due to Firestar being away for a while. Firestar's kits-Squirrelpaw, Leafpaw, and Emberpaw-have been apprentices for a full moon. Squirrelpaw has Siverstream as a mentor, Emberpaw has Cinderpath, and Leafpaw is apprenticed under Ravensong
The Fire triplets have that special psychic connection that Leafpaw and Squirrelpaw did in the first books of tnp. This does not fade over time
Squirrelpaw is the one who receives the Sun-Drown-Place prophecy from Starclan, and is followed by Tawnypelt who wants to keep her out of trouble. They meet up at Fourtrees with the other prophecy cats who are: Primrosetail of Riverclan (who's been followed by her brother Reedwhisker. These two are Mistyfoot's kits), Crowpaw of Windclan, and Rowanclaw of Shaowclan
Crowpaw is lithe dark gray with blue eyes, Rowanclaw is broad shouldered and with golden eyes, Reedwhisker is black with amber eyes, and Primrosetail is blue-gray -the same color as Bluestar-with blue eyes
On the journey, Reedwhisker acts as the leader. He's a natural thanks to his mother being deputy and his uncle and grandmother being Riverclan and Thunderclan's leaders respectively. Leading runs in his blood. Tawnypelt makes a good second in command and keeps the apprentices in check. She gets along well with both Squirrelpaw and Crowpaw, acting as a referee at times. Though Squirrelpaw and Crowpaw annoy each other a lot they also end up getting pretty close by the end of their trip. Primrosetail is the quiet motherly cat of the group, making sure nobody gets left behind and that everyone is fed and warm. Rowanclaw mainly keeps to himself; he's more focused on the task at hand than anything else. Though he does find himself enjoying the new landscape and learning about the Tribe
The Journey cats still meet with Midnight, and still meet the Tribe to help fight Sharptooth. The Tribe believes at first that it is Crowpaw who's prophesied to save them. But really it's Reedwhisker; in this rewrite he takes Feathertail's place. The Tirbe prophecy says something about a dark colored cat, rather than a silver cat in this case. When Reedwhisker dies, Tawnypelt takes up the leadership position in the group with Rowanclaw's help
While they're gone, disaster strikes the clans. Twolegs are tearing apart the forest like in canon. Both Leafpaw and Emberpaw are captured. Leafpaw eventually manages to escape but Emberpaw gets stuck while trying to free other clan cats. He's made a kittypet and adopted by a twoleg family who calls him Ginger.
With all that set up, we start off with three POV's: Squirrelpaw with her warrior's training and the journey, Leafpaw with her medicine cat training, and Emberpaw with a view into the life of a kittypet
When the journey cats get home they urge the clans to leave the forest for their safety. Before they go, however, Leafpaw insists they find Emberpaw. So she and the journey cats work together to search Twolegplace and eventually break him free. The Fire triplets' connection is what leads them to find Emberpaw's location. Primrosetail is the one who comes up with the plan to bust the young tom out
On the journey to the lake, Emberpaw bonds with Primrosetail. He's grateful to her for figuring out a way to free him. Meanwhile, Leafpaw bonds with Rowanclaw. She's intrigued by him; currently he's Shadowclan's deputy, but despite this he'd gone off on the trip to Sun-Drown-Place. He claims it's because it was for the best for Shadowclan, and clearly it's saved them now.
At the lake, the clans settle in. Squirrelpaw and Emberpaw are the first cats to be made warriors in their new home: they're named Squirrelflight and Emberpath. Squirrel is named for her speedy trip to Sun-Drown-Place to discover their new home, and Ember is named for the path he had to take to get here (from being captured, to getting free from the twolegs, and to finally joining his clanmates on the journey). Leafpaw discovers the moonpool and is named Leafpool
The POV switches between the Journey cats throughout the books.
Reedwhisker has a POV for the whole of the second book leading up to his death. Then for the last bit of the book it switches back to Squirrelpaw's POV
Primrosetail's POV shows her struggles with the loss of her brother Reedwhisker, and the tole it takes upon their mother Mistyfoot and uncle Stonestar. It also depicts her being drawn to Emberpath, the cat she'd help to rescue and walked with on the journey to the lake
With Crowfeather we witness Windclan's civil war first hand. They're fighting over who should be leader: Ashfoot, the wise deputy, or Mudclaw, the stronger warrior whom Tallstar seems to favor. We sees Crowfeather's reactions to his clanmates turning on his mother. Crowfeather starts confiding in his fellow journey-mates, Squirrelflight and Tawnypelt, for support at this time. Eventually though, it's settled that Ashfoot will be leader, and eventually she earns her nine lives. After all of this is done, though, Crowfeather continues to meet with Squirrelflight and Tawnypelt
In Rowanclaw's chapters we see his struggles with being deputy, and his growing affection for Leafpool. Eventually the two run away together, only to return to the clans upon the urgance of Midnight. Thunderclan gets attacked by badgers like in canon, while Silverstream has her new litter of kits (who are Briarkit, Bumblekit, and Blossomkit. Millie does not exiat in my rewrite). Ravensong is killed trying to keep the birthing queen safe. Rowanclaw asks Leafpool in secret to move to Shadowclan when the fight is over, but with her mentor dead and no other medicine cats in Thunderclan she has to decline. Luckily, Shadowclan and Thunderclan have no idea about their affair, thinking both cats had simply run off from the pressure of their jobs. The clans remain unaware that they were together.
Finally Tawnypelt's POV shows her meeting with her father in the Dark Forest. At first, she's still mad at him for having her brother killed. But Mothwing, Sasha's daughter and Tawnypelt's half sister, convinces her to train with them. Growing up, Mothwing had always been sensible and trustworthy. She assures Tawnypelt that Tigerstar is making amends by mentoring her; he just wants his kits to be strong respectable warriors of Thunderclan. Even if it may not be true though, Mothwing believes it. So Tawnypelt agrees to learn a few things from the former Shadowclan leader, if only to hone her skills and to protect her sister. Eventually though, Bramblepaw comes from Starclan to stop his littermate from training with their father before it's too late. He reminds her of Tigerstar's evil, and helps her to see just how nefarious the teachings she's been receiving are. After this, she stops going to the Dark Forest. But later on it turns out Tigerstar and Mothwing have been conspiring.
This comes to a head when Firestar gets caught in a fox trap by the lake thanks to Mothwing luring him there. She tells Tawnypelt that with Firestar dead, Sandstorm will be leader, and she's bound to pick one of them as her deputy. Then it's all a matter of killing the new leader so both sisters can ascend to higher power together. Tawnypelt truly realizes now how bad being around Tigerstar has messed both of them up. The sisters fight, resulting in Mothwing being stabbed by the stake of the fox trap, just like her counterpart Hawkfrost in canon
Speaking of Hawkfrost, Tawnypelt has troubles with him as well during her book. Squirrelflight has been hanging around him a lot, but he's kind of a jerk. And not to mention Tawnypelt has feeling for the small ginger molly too. So the whole love triangle thing plays out with the three of them instead
At some point in the arc (Im thinking the second half, or maybe in the last book) the cats who'd gone on the journey come up with the idea for the clans to have mediators. This role is to help keep peace, and to remind everyone of how they'd gotten along during the trip to the lake. Each cat who'd been sent the Sun-Drown-Place prophecy is elected for this new role, since they're already used to conversing with cats outside their clans

So... Is Silverstream not dying?
As a follow-up to the post I just reblogged, no.
Well, I mean.... She will, eventually. Just not in Forest of Secrets. She's not immortal.
Silverstream BARELY survives giving birth to Featherkit and Stormkit. Yellowfang and Cinderpaw place her on complete bedrest, they won't even risk bringing her across the river, and she is too weak to feed the kittens.
Crookedstar, remembering Willowbreeze and Graypool tumultuous childhood and the death of Reedfeather, not to mention the stories of the Queen's Rights War, threatens another war. Riverclan is currently operating on the policy that any kit born with Riverclan blood is worth going to war over, stemming from the tragic loss of 3 rejected kittens in the river...
Featherkit and Stormkit are fed for a while by Speckletail and Goldenflower, who are currently doing some of their own personal reckonings about borders and outsiders.
When she is well enough, they go to stay in Riverclan to prevent the war. Graystripe gets kicked, Tigerclan begins, she amd her kids are held as prisoners, they are freed by a clever duo of cats from Riverclan and Shadowclan, so on and so forth. While Featherpaw and Stormpaw wish to go back to Riverclan, Silverstream cannot look at her beloved birth Clan anymore, and opts to stay in Thunderclan.
The Forest is destroyed, and Graystripe is taken away. Silverstream is not taken, and though she is devastated, she goes on the Journey as well. This also riding on the news that her daughter is also dead.
Graystripe returns with Cody and Smokepaw (quickly named Smokeheart) and Silverstream is overjoyed. They have kits a few books later in Eclipse, the B Triplets. Millie doesn't exist.
When Briarpaw's accident happens, Silverstream is many things. Sad because her daughter was hurt, frustrated that she couldn't stop it, anxious over her child's recovery... She is barely holding it together but she is NOT saying the things Millie said in canon that I don't wish to repeat. She isn't ableist, she's just... Scared. Helpless.
She still also makes a point to be a parent to the very worried and upset Bumblestripe and Blossomfall. (Note: The Dark Forest still recruits Blossomfall by exploiting her anxiety about Briarlight, that the Clan won't protect her/won't care for her etc.)
She makes efforts to learn about Briarlight's mobility devices, and what the exercises are specifically doing to help, thanks to Leafpool suggesting that she learn about them to help her daughter.
Silverstream dies towards the end of Squirrelflight's Hope, after spending all of AVOS getting more and more sick. Mapleshade's blood curse getting to her after a long life of hardships.
