What is Ripple XRP? Everything You Need to Know
Ripple XRP is a kind of centralized cryptocurrency managed by Ripple company. It is widely used by banks and financial institutions for payment settlement systems and exchange networks all over the globe.
In terms of market capitalization, Ripple XRP is one of the topmost cryptocurrencies in the globe. Many investors today have started mining Ripple XRP with the help of the ASIC mining machine.
This blog describes Ripple XRP cryptocurrency in detail with its process of working, the process to mine XRP coins, the benefits of this coin, and the drawbacks of Ripple XRP coins.
What is Ripple?
Ripple XRP is a kind of cryptocurrency that is centralized and controlled by a company named Ripple. It is an open-source platform chosen by many banks and financial institutions for payment settlement systems. Some of the most important features of the Ripple XRP network are:
XRP coin is the native currency of the Ripple network.
This network is not a rival to various cryptocurrencies but it is the latest version of the SWIFT system.
The highest price of the XRP coin was 3.18 Euros in the year 2018.
You do not need any mining process to mine new XRP coins.
This open-source network is highly used by financial institutions and banks as well.
Pre-mined amount of XRP coins is around 100 billion units and only a small amount of coins are used currently.
This network was invented in the year 2012 and it is controlled by a single company. It includes the middlemen for settling global trade between various cryptocurrencies. Ripple helps in establishing financial services like SWIFT and not Ethereum and Bitcoin.
How Does Ripple Work?
Ripple is different from other types of cryptocurrencies in many ways. Like other cryptocurrencies, it does not work on blockchain technology. It does not need a mining process to mine new XRP coins or validate transactions.
In the Ripple network, the transactions are conducted via validating servers. These servers compare the information they receive and process with a common ledger. It is also one of the fastest cryptocurrencies in the world.
The servers of Ripple’s network work on a consensus mechanism known as HashTree. The major difference between the Proof of Work blockchain and the Ripple Network is that the consensus is received by a single value. This value is calculated by processing the data of the ledger. Moreover, these servers are controlled by financial institutions and banks.
How to Mine Ripple Coins?
Ripple coins are different from other types of cryptocurrencies in many ways. XRP includes a government protocol that does not need any Proof-of-stake (PoS) mining or Proof-of-work PoW mining. It works on the RPCA system without depending on mining for validating transactions like Bitcoin or Litecoin.
In the Ripple network, the transactions are verified by a system of validators. One cannot directly get XRP coins through the mining process. The users will have to first mine various kinds of cryptocurrencies such as Ether (ETH) and BTC. These cryptocurrencies can then be converted into XRP coins via an exchange. It is better to take the advice of an expert before starting XRP mining.
Advantages of Ripple XRP
Ripple XRP cannot be mined directly through the mining process. You will have to mine other types of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum and convert them into Ripple XRP coins at an exchange. You will have to buy good AISC Mining Hardware to mine various cryptocurrencies and convert them to Ripple XRP coins. Have a look at some of the major benefits of Ripple XRP coins in the below section:
Also Read: Difference Between Ripple and Bitcoin
1. Speedy settlement of transactions
In the Ripple network, the transactions are confirmed speedily. It is a faster cryptocurrency than other kinds of cryptocurrencies and settles transactions within 5 seconds. Ripple XRP performs faster than other kinds of cryptocurrencies and banks in which it takes several hours for verification of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
2. Used by several banks and financial institutions
Many notable banks and financial institutions use Ripple XRP coins to conduct various transactions. Some of the major banks such as Bank of America, IndusInd Bank, and Santander use the Ripple network to settle payment systems. It has larger institutional market adoption than other kinds of cryptocurrencies.
3. Affordable fees
On the Ripple network, the cost of completing a transaction is only 0.00001 XRP. It is only a small fraction of a penny at the present rates. Ripple network is more affordable than other kinds of networks.
4. Widely accepted exchange network
One of the major benefits of using Ripple Network is that it processes many types of cryptocurrencies. It is also used to process many fiat currencies and other cryptocurrencies.
The disadvantage of Ripple XRP
Now, let us discuss the disadvantages of Ripple XRP in this section:
A large amount of pre-mined coins
A large amount of Ripple coins is stored in escrow and is not in circulation. This practice will affect the value of XRP coins. They might come into circulation after some years.
Centralized network
Another drawback of the Ripple XRP network is that it is centralized and controlled by a single company. This is the biggest disadvantage that will take away control of banks, government, and other financial institutions. Ripple network is centralized because of several validators that are opposite to the decentralized philosophy.
SEC against Ripple XRP network
An SEC action was taken again XRP Ripple in the year 2020. The case stated that XRP must be registered as a security because the company can decide to release XRP coins anytime.
Final Words
Ripple XRP coins can be used like other types of digital currencies and cryptocurrencies for settling payment transactions. Apart from that, you can also use the Ripple network to process other kinds of exchanging currencies. The light is MINE.
Small story underneath Readmore. Please reblog instead of liking!
Robotnik's latest plan to try to get rid of Sonic, and take over the world, had involved the creation of space-time vortexes, using the a gemstone known as the "Warp Topaz". Reaching into other realities to gather resources for his plans, and to trap Sonic inside a dimension where he'd be unable to thwart his plans.
This idea backfired the moment it was put into motion. For, unbeknownst to him, in a different reality, a beast of famine and darkness could feel the ripples his machine left in time and space. In a last attempt to secure it's survival, the heinous beast tore a hole from it's home dimension and into Robotnik's machine.
Before the hedgehog Robotnik oh-so dreaded could do as little as drop a snarky comment, the machine's alarms blared out loud, sending constant distress signals to the scientist's control panel, as it detected an unknown entity crawling through it's insides.
The next thing anyone knew was that Sonic began to fight this mangled monstrosity made of crystal bones. A walking corpse of a higher being, desiring nothing but to sink it's fangs into the hedgehog. Each punch from this thing felt terrible, the pain this pitiful monster felt was being inflicted into Sonic.
The fight went on for hours on end, the beast attacked relentlessly, not allowing the hedgehog even a single second to catch his breath, and it didn't seem to have intentions to stop any time soon either. Friends and curious onlookers had came to his aid a long time ago, but neither Sonic nor the beast wanted anyone nearby.
A knot tied deep inside Sonic, the way it felt to be attacked by this monster, he didn't want his friends to be forced to deal with it. It reminded him so much of the cold, numbing, painful, scalding, overwhelming pain from cyber corruption. And yet, this felt so much worse, according to him.
The moment Tails tried to approach Sonic, holding his Miles Electric in the end, exclaiming he had found a way to deal with this unknown thing, was... the end. The monster locked it's "eyes" on the fox, and prepared to attack. Sonic wouldn't let any harm come to his closest friend, his sibling...
So he took the hit for the fox. And this time, the beast sank it's claws deep into the hedgehog's body. Finally, after hours of constant fighting, time seemed to move slowly, the hedgehog tumbled back, feeling warm liquid flow down from his chest, a buzzing ring sound echoed in his ears, he couldn't tell what everyone was saying anymore.
After hours of battle, the hedgehog tripped down into the arms of the beast, and was devoured. Light expanded outwards, like an explosion, the moment Sonic and the beast made contact, light that shone brighter than anything any of them had ever seen. Soon, where once two beings stood, now only one entity remained: Golden fur covered its body, golden as the brightest of suns; dark crystalline armor adorned its form, as black as the darkest of nights.
It took a single step forward before roaring in anger, crying out in pain, screaming in agony. Its hunger for light was not yet quenched.
On that day, the hero of this world, the beacon of hope in the heart of every mobian, was extinguished. The torch of the vessel of chaos was never passed down, instead, its never-yielding flame was devoured by the dark maws of the beast from beyond space and time.
On that night, in roars and cries, it pledged to subdue, and consume, all the light in this universe, to punish humanity for it's hubris, for the inhabitants of this world were not free of sin in its eyes. Desiring light, power, and energy. Playing god, they had drained another one like itself, and destroyed it, forgotten it, erased it.
Now they all would pay the ultimate price.
Travelers from the world this creature first emerge would name this new being fueled by revenge "UB-Chaos". Also known as...
Entropy Spine Necrozma.

The Fourth of July
Another gift fic for another awesome friend of mine! Stockings are getting stuffed left and right this year. <3 <3
Alex/FReader - foreign reader, blowjob/Facefuck, spit kink, soft!Alex
You are celebrating your first July 4th with Alex and his friends at your brother's lake house. Seeing the booming fireworks, eating hotdogs, and drinking out of those red solo cups - just like the movies - has been so much fun. But, you and Alex get a little carried away in the pool house.
MDNI/18+
AO3 Link
When he picked you up for the party, Alex looked like he was Mr. USA. His fluorescent blue swim trunks were short, the hem sitting high on his huge, muscular thighs, showing off his carbon fiber leg. The arms of his old Army tee shirt were sliced open, giving you a view of his endless, tanned skin. His ribs and abs rippled beneath the surface as he parked the Silverado in the road and hopped out of it to greet you.
You’d never wanted to run your hands through a shock of hair so badly in your life, buried under a bright red trucker cap with the bill turned backwards. He was smacking his gum loudly, and he was already sunburnt across his nose.
“Hey, there. You ready for some freedom?”
You smiled, enjoying his American accent,
“As ready as I’ll ever be, I think.”
“C’mon. Your brother’s waitin’ for us at the house. Got about fifty pounds of barbeque workin’ on the pit, I’ll bet.”
He grabbed your bag and threw it into the back of his truck before grabbing your arm and helping you into the lifted cab of the vehicle. Your swimsuit coverup billowed in the wind, and he gently gathered it up for you, moving it away so it wouldn’t get caught in the heavy door.
Alex pulled himself into the driver’s seat, flexing his tattooed forearms as he settled into position, gripping the wheel tightly. As you looked closer, you started to notice little scars, nothing major. But, you were always quick to forget what his day job was: CIA war machine. He threw on a pair of hot-pink sunglasses with a floater neck strap attached, and handed you his spare pair. You slipped them on, feeling much cooler than you thought you should. As you pulled onto the road, he cranked up the music until you couldn’t even hear yourself think.
You took the opportunity of being bathed in sound to study him from across the center console of the truck. The landscape of America - strip centers and wooded fields - rushed by you unadmired, and you were trapped by him. You thought you’d gotten away with a long, delicious appraisal, but he flipped his glasses down his nose and peeked over them at you. The look in his eye made you blush.
He turned the music down and stared at you while the huge truck idled at a red light. His voice was nice and even as he asked,
“What are you lookin’ at, darlin’?”
“Nothing,” you tried to be dismissive, playing coy but doing it badly.
An enormous, rough hand grabbed you around your knee,
“Nothin’? Like what you were wearin’ in that snap you sent me last week, nothin’?”
You blushed pink. The light turned green. Alex stayed staring at you, squeezing your leg, until someone behind him honked, and even then he took his sweet time.
“Mmhm,” you said, waiting for his next move as he drove onward, revving the truck’s angry engine.
“Did you tell him yet?” Alex asked, threading his fingers through yours as you captured it from your lap..
“No,” you laughed under your breath, “I think you’d have known by now if I had.”
He laughed with you, readjusting his cap,
“I think I’d have a black eye by now.”
You grimaced in reply, knowing your brother’s temper. He wouldn’t be thrilled to see you flirting with his best friend from when he was enlisted. Alex saw you frown, and he held your hand a little tighter, saying,
“Worth it.”
You drew in a tight breath and looked over at him. His gaze stayed on the road this time, pushing the speed limit, taking the exit to the lake.
You’d known Alex Keller ever since your brother moved to Clearwater. Your brother, Charlie, had studied at university and he had fallen in love with a man who was in Alex’s old regiment. They’d gotten married, and now, Charlie had his green card and everything. All of Alex’s friends and army buddies had brought Charlie into the fold. He was even driving a Ford F-150 these days. If it wasn’t for his Kiwi accent, he could’ve passed as a true American.
You tried to come over to see Charlie and his husband, Greg, every summer. But, with the restrictions in place, it had been a few years. This would be a happy reunion as long as he didn’t discover the relationship blooming between you and his best friend, Alex.
It had been an accident, really. Charlie had lost his phone, and Alex had called you by accident, trying to find it. Then, you had just…kept calling. They were late night talks for you, and early morning talks for him, but you and Alex just seemed to have so much to say to each other. When he flew out to Urzikstan for dangerous missions, or over to Russia to do God knows what, he would always send you back some little trinkets from his trip.
You knew it was a lie. You knew, in your heart, that he had been over there killing people and saving the world from whatever horrors were terrorizing those deep, dark places. But, when you got a little glass camel figurine in the mail, its box covered in a million stamps, you put it on your window sill and watched the light dance through it like it hadn’t been shipped from some sort of master of war. But, if you were truly honest with yourself, you didn't give a shit.
You’d been talking for about six months now, and the build up to your trip was intense. The anticipation was killing you both. Seeing him now, feeling the bones of his hand in yours as you massaged the tiny muscles inside of his palm, it was all too much. You needed Charlie to understand that you had fallen madly in love with his best friend.
“I think we should tell him,” Alex said, interrupting your thoughts.
“Shit,” you scoffed, “He’s gonna lose it.”
“I don’t want to keep hiding you away. And maybe…” you heard the familiar tones of doubt in his throat, “Maybe I’m not the kind of man your brother wants for you. But, I can be.”
You kissed the back of his hand, letting the tiny hairs tickle your skin. The lake house wasn’t far, but you wanted to reassure him more than just chaste affection.
“I’m eager to see the kind of man you can be,” you turned the seduction up to eleven, hoping he wouldn’t immediately laugh at you.
He didn’t laugh. If anything, other than a flash of panic in his eyes, he didn’t move. He allowed you to flip his hand over, its wide palm facing the sky as you planted kiss after kiss onto his skin. You felt his breathing quicken, rippling through his limbs. Finally, you took his forefinger into your mouth and began to gently suck on its tip. It was salty, and probably unclean, but you didn’t care. You kept going, moving your mouth up and down his thick digit as if it were his cock. And goddamn did you want it to be his cock.
The phone calls had turned flirtatious, and then downright lascivious, in the last few months. Once, while he was hiding in a bunker somewhere in Ukraine, he’d called you, desperate. You listened to him as he pulled hungrily on his cock, letting you listen to the wet slipping sounds of his fist pounding into his skin, searching for release. He’d begged for your mouth. He said it was all he could think about, and the gorgeous little whimpering noises he made had set it in your mind. You dreamed about blowing him for weeks. You thought about how his come would taste when you had been sitting in the terminal and waiting on your plane. You were going to suck the life out of Alex Keller at this fucking party tonight if it was the last thing you ever did.
“Oh,” his voice was shaking and quiet, “Fuuuuuck.”
One more strong suck on his finger and you let him loose, wiping away the wetness with your hand, lacing your fingers back through his as if nothing had happened.
His breathing was ragged, and his hand was trembling. The lake house was just up ahead, and as Alex pulled into the drive, he took his hand back from your grip to adjust his growing cock. It looked heavy, and you couldn’t stop staring.
“Holy shit,” he sighed, “Charles is gonna kill me.”
“I won’t let him,” you smiled.
“That mouth…” he was still turned on, and his voice was deepened by his arousal.
“Wait til you see what else it can do,” you grinned and popped open your door to greet Charlie.
Your brother was in a black apron and carrying a set of tongs. He was at least six and a half feet tall and built like an ox. The back of his neck was red from the sun, and he wore his hair up in a poorly coiffed bun. You shut the truck door and he turned around. When he saw you, his face lit up, and he shouted your name across the yard.
“Kia ora, sister. Look at you! How’s the Air B&B?”
Charlie held you close to his body, hugging you so tight that it hurt. You let it hurt.
“Fine. I’m starving.”
“It’s coming. Where’s Alex?”
“Grabbing the bags, I think.”
You turned back around and watched as Alex bent into the truck bed and pulled your bag out along with his. He’d let his sunglasses fall around his neck and walked over to you and Charlie.
“Charles,” Alex smiled, dropping a bag to shake your brother’s hand.
“Alex, thanks for picking her up. Greg and the boys are down at the dock.”
You spent the day jet skiing and swimming with Alex and all of your brother’s friends. The girlfriends and wives and husbands all introduced themselves, or reintroduced themselves if they had met you before, and Alex stuck by your side through it all. He could have easily abandoned you to go on the fishing trip that most of the other men were keen to take, or he could have hung around Charlie all day since it had been months since they’d seen each other, too. But, he didn’t. He seemed to know that you didn’t want to be alone, and he held you to him in as much as he dared.
It would be a lie, though, if you two didn’t admit to sharing a stray touch or even a kiss every now and then. You kept finding excuses to be alone together.
Finally, it was nearly fireworks time, and Greg was setting up the array of them. The purple dusk was just settling on the horizon, and you and Alex had front-row seats. He had brought you another icy beer from the cooler, and a towel from inside the house to sit on. You’d positioned yourselves right next to the small pool house, a little away from the crowd.
The pool house was little more than a small bedroom and a toilet, but it was big enough to block anyone from seeing you two from behind. That way, if someone was looking at you, you’d know it. The excitement of hiding your affection from everyone was exhilarating.
You had worn your bright pink triangle bikini, and Alex had spent most of the day staring at it. You’d even made him retie the bows a few times, just to torture him. Once, he’d even managed to swipe a finger over your nipple, so you knew that once everyone’s eyes were focused on the exploding sky, it was on.
Other houses on the lake were popping their own fireworks, and there was a man who was famous for his end-of-the-night show. As Charlie lit more and more of the small ones, you noticed the other houses following suit. It was pretty, and every time a mortar cracked in the sky, you could feel it in your chest.
Once it became dark enough, you started to rub your hand up and down Alex’s bare thigh. He scooted closer and closer to you like a dog begging for more pets. You obliged him, running your fingers higher and higher until you were disturbing the hem of his shorts. Then, you went for it.
He felt you move your hand to the warm flesh between his legs, and he whispered,
"No, no, wait...oh, fuck..."
You put your hand through the stretchy leg of the nylon trunks and searched for his heavy cock and balls. You ignored his dick at first, rubbing his balls gently, moving them around in your hand, massaging them and feeling his dick fighting for attention above your wrist.
“Holy fucking shit, woman,” he hissed, fidgeting in his seat, his eyes turned skyward as he gasped as quietly as he could.
“You enjoying the show?” You asked, acting very casual.
“Enjoying…Jesus Christ,” Alex furrowed his brow at you and wiped a hand down his face. His eyes shone blue and then green and then red as the colors burst above you.
Finally, you wrapped your fingers around his swollen rod, nearly three times as large as it had been soft, and started to pump up and down slowly and deliberately. He let out a trembling breath.
“Baby, baby, baby, please…ah, please.”
“What do you need, Alex?” You whispered, kissing his neck, “Tell me. I wanna hear it.”
“I need your mouth, baby. Please, I’ll do anything,” he kissed you back, his mustache and beard tickling your skin, sending chills down your arms.
You looked over your shoulder at the pool house, and he followed your gaze. Then, you looked back down at the dock and saw Charlie and Greg untangling a huge fireworks display. You had time.
“C’mon,” you stood up quietly and opened up the door to the pool house.
The two of you snuck in and shut it behind you, still able to see through the small skylight as the fireworks were going off outside. You didn’t wait for him to get settled. In fact, you grabbed Alex by the arm and pulled him into the small room, sinking to your knees on the well-worn rug. You looped your fingers in the waistband of his shorts, and pulled them down. His cock flagged free, bobbing up and down, and he was as hard as a stone.
“Holy fuck! Wait, wait…oh, fuck!” He tried to catch his balance, and set his hands on your shoulders.
You stared at his hard length, admiring the velvety smoothness of his skin, looking at his bare, pink head. You could see the scar from his circumcision, and you ran your tongue along the dark line of skin, licking him up and onto his plump, uncovered head. The sound he made from your first contact would be burned into your brain forever. It was a low, dark growl mixed with a sigh that seemed like he had just been relieved from carrying the whole world on his shoulders. Maybe he had.
You took him into your mouth achingly slowly, looking up at him the entire time you did so, watching his face contort into different stages of blissful agony. He had one hand in his hair, pulling on it at the roots, his hat knocked back, looking like he was in shock. You swallowed him deeper, opening and closing your throat with swallow after swallow, making more and more drool pool in your mouth as you did until it was running out of your lips and down onto your chest.
Then, you began to bob your head back and forth along as much of his length as you could take, choking yourself with it until it hurt just a little. You tried to relax. You wanted to show him that you could take it all, that you could be his relief.
You focused on his head, running your tongue over its crest, tasting his salty precome as you lapped over his hole, rubbing the slick back and bumpy front of your tongue across it over and over and over. You used your hand to pump him up and down as you did, shaking him vigorously while he was sucked into your mouth.
Then, just as you were finding a steady, beating rhythm, he took your head in his hands and pulled you off of him. He was panting and ferocious when he whispered to you,
“Oh, my fucking God, baby. You don’t have to —”
“I want to,” you insisted, wrapping your hands behind your thighs and pulling his cock into your lips again. You kissed his head like it was his mouth, making out with his cock, covering him in your spit.
You felt him take one of the strings of your bikini in his hands and tug. Your top fluttered down, exposing your breasts to the dark room. You moaned.
When you did, he stumbled forward, losing his balance,
“Shit. Baby, I can't...” he begged, catching himself on the side of the end table, his knuckles white and straining to hold up his weight.
“I’ll let you sit,” you said cheekily, “If you hold my hair for me.”
“Oh, God,” he sank to the bed and laced his fingers through your hair, grabbing the back of your skull.
You sucked him harder, moaning as you did so, playing with your nipples and feeling your drool run down your chin.
Alex’s hand was only loosely connected, and you wanted more from him. You pulled away again and looked up at him with the biggest doe eyes you could muster,
“Alex,” you had his attention like a bright fire, “Fuck my face. Please.”
A snarl came out of his mouth, and he had to put himself back together before he answered you. He used his big hands to pet your hair out of your face, running a thumb across your wet bottom lip with tender care,
“I don’t wanna hurt you, baby. This feels so good. I don’t need you to -”
“I need you to. I wanna feel you in my throat.”
“Are you trying to kill me?”
“Only a little,” you smiled and licked the tip of him again, teasing him.
“If I hurt you, pinch me. Hard.”
You nodded, taking him as deep as you could. Then, when you reached your limit, you felt his hands get tight, shoving you down past your mouth and into your throat. He was still so gentle with you as he moved himself inside of you, fucking you ever so slowly, waiting for your pinch. So, you started to moan and lick and pull him closer with your hands, pushing yourself to the point of gagging.
He yanked you off of him in a hurry, thinking you were injured. A long, frothy line of drool came out with him, and you spit the rest onto his shaft and returned him to your mouth. Now that you knew that you could go that deep with help, you tried to do it without, and you nearly succeeded.
Alex was a complete mess above you, and his moans had become high, whining whimpers. With every swallow, with every lick, you earned a new noise. A gasp, a curse, a shaking cry. You played him like an instrument. Loudly.
Finally, you took him all the way in, past even where he had dared to push you, and you buried your nose in his crotch, smelling his hair and sweat and skin.
“Oh, fucking shit! Fuck that’s deep. Oh, God. Oh, God! Baby!”
He was unraveled like a ball of string, spilling out everywhere. His body betrayed his politeness, and he thrust himself into you once, twice. You watched as the rockets and cannons and mortars all exploded around you in a fiery, rainbow crescendo, he came down your throat, crying for you, whimpering your name, gasping through gritted teeth.
You counted to ten, trying not to gag, feeling his cock pulsing in your mouth, beating like a heart. Then, you started to get light-headed. So, you pulled back, releasing him in a slobbery, wet mess of come and spit.
You leaned forward into his lap and began to lick him clean. He shuddered as you did so, shaking and moaning as your tongue touched all of his sensitive places. You saved his head for last. Licking up and down his shaft, cleaning his come from him, tasting his body’s sweet, sticky release. Until finally, you looked up at him with a sly smile.
He looked down at you in dumb shock as you sucked all the fluid away from his swollen head, and he gasped as you finished the job. You released him with a pop from your lips and smiled, sitting back on your heels and playing with your tits.
Alex lay on the bed for a while, and you joined him, rubbing his skin under his cutoff tee. He rolled onto his side and greedily suckled on your nipples, kissing your mouth and neck affectionately, fondling you a little more aggressively than you expected. Then, he looked up at the door and back down at you,
“Will you still want me after your brother breaks my nose?”
You laughed, rolling your eyes,
“Sure, I will.”
“Then, wait here, baby. I’ll be right back.”

As the new year began, you were all set to tackle your resolutions head-on. You had achieved "Glass Skin" and landed a "Good Job." The final item on your list: attain that classic "thin and built figure."
You've embraced your curves your entire life – the envy of many! Your figure boasted a petite waist, a cherubic face, bouncy tits and hips that danced with every step. But, much like everyone else, you also longed for something you lacked: muscles.
And so, here you are, signing up for an annual gym membership. "This is a fabulous health leap you're making, ma'am," chirped the receptionist, selling the benefits of the gym like hotcakes. "When do we expect you?" she asked eagerly. "I'm thinking 6 AM," you gleefully replied. "Oh, splendid! Few souls at that hour," she exclaimed. "You can start tomorrow. Cheers to your fitness journey!" she concluded, flashing that professional smile and tone.
Next day rolled by, and here you were starting your fitness journey with a set new gym clothes. A sports bra and sports shorts, that sat just below your ass.
True to the receptionist's assurance, the gym was deserted at that early hour, save for a single individual, a strapping lad, bulging with muscles as if they were molded from solid granite was working out. With each sinewy movement, his muscles rippled and flexed beneath his skin, showcasing an impressive display of power and strength.
He strides through the gym, his broad shoulders squared, exuding an air of confidence that commands attention. The veins in his arms pop with every curl of the weight, his biceps swelling and contracting with controlled precision. His chest, a wall of carved steel, expands with each deep breath as he conquers the bench press effortlessly.
The sweat glistens on his chiseled physique, accentuating the definition of every muscle group - from the sculpted abs that resemble a washboard, to the powerful thighs that propel him through each exercise. His dedication to fitness is evident in the way he attacks every set, pushing his limits with an unwavering determination.
As he moves from one machine to another, the gym seems to revolve around him. His intense focus, coupled with the raw power he emits, inspires a sense of awe among those around him. He is the epitome of strength and fitness, a living testament to the results of hard work, discipline, and dedication in the gym.
"Enjoying the view, young miss?" a deep voice growled beside you, causing a startled reaction. You turned towards the voice, wide-eyed and flustered. It was the very Greek god-like figure you'd been daydreaming about. He chuckled at your reaction, and you fumbled for words, blurting out a classic “N-No No… uhh.. actually I wasn’t able to open my water bottle.” You blurted out and patted yourself in your dreams for coming up with such a nice excuse. Corporate does benefit sometimes. “And I suppose you want me to open up that for you ?” The man asked. “I would really appreciate that”, you chirped happily.
After the encounter you made sure to not let your gaze wander and do what you were here for.
And oh sweetheart, Little did you know that someone had their keen eyes on you, imagining all the things with your bouncy assets in the slutty gym dress, that wasn’t supposed to be worn in gym which could have been filled with testosterones but luckily you chose the very wrong right time.
After two hours of grinding, you were relaxing on the bench, where your ‘bottle opener’ came. “Are you new here miss ?”, he asked. “It’s y/n and yes. I joined yesterday” you replied with a cheery voice. “I’m Casper, and that’s great tho. How about a coffee down the street ?” He offered.

part of a PW trio scene from chapter 11 ✨
For a long moment they simply stare at each other, Kai grinning while Damon fights to hold onto his scowl.
Damon cracks first, shaking his head as he turns away. “You’re infuriating.”
“So I’ve been told,” Kai agrees, turning his attention to the machines at Bonnie’s side.
While the distraction of messing with Damon helps steady him, his heart beats faster each time he catches sight of her in the bed. He can't get her wide eyed look of pain out of his mind, the feeling of her fingers digging into his shoulders burned into his memory.
“Any idea when she’ll wake up?”
“Should be soon,” Damon says, his thumb moving over her knuckles. “I’m taking her back to the boarding house the minute she’s stable. And I assume you and Psycho Barbie will be heading west?”
Kai draws a slow breath through his nose, trying to keep his patience. “Mary-Louise is already awake.”
Damon’s eyebrows rise in faux confusion. “And you’re still here because?”
“We were both there when I siphoned the magic from the venom that was killing you, weren’t we?” Kai asks, unable to hide the edge in his voice. “Or what about when I stopped you from bashing Bonnie’s head through a window? I didn’t have to do either of those things. You get that, right?”
“Asking more questions doesn’t answer mine,” Damon snaps.
“I’ll go when she wakes up,” Kai says, the veins beneath his eyes rippling with annoyance. “Is that alright with you?”
“No,” Damon says, though something in his expression softens. “I’m onto you, weasel. Have been since ‘94.”

YOUR FLESH IS MINE
SIMON "GHOST" RILEY – IMPROMPTU
This fic is what happens when you're listening to deftones and thinking about Ghost. Sorry not sorry
MASTERLIST
There was no warning before his mass of muscle cornered you. Brown eyes blown with desire. Lust. Hate. They looked black under the dim light of the dingy hotel. He was just a wolf tonight. Hunting. Searching. Hungry.
The violence was still inside him, bleeding out like poison. Rippling under each flex of his armored body. Fuck he was so big. Towering above you. Raising your hands above your trembling body. The gunpowder, fire and copper clashed around you as he was fresh off the field. Blood still oozing through bandages as he lifted you against the wall.
Black paint heavy around tortured eyes, he didn't want to do this... he needed to. A release of something so sinister he swore to protect you from. He changed. The beast looming and tearing away the gear in hot kisses. Lapping. Biting. Swallowing you whole. This wasn't Simon. It was Ghost. A phantom of a man that had seen too much and was stained forever in viscera. Something that hunts and leers in the night. A killing machine born from blades, bullets and hurricanes of devastation englufed in flames.
"Let me..." Gruff. Rage pooring off in melted metal. "Need"
He could see the way you opened for him. A sacrificial night to a God that torn your ribcage apart, keeping your head fuzzy and plunged inside. Fucking you in his arms, pinned with forceful restriction against the wall.
It had been too long. So much death in between. A man reduced to human needs.
Starved from you —he bit into the delicate, tender flesh bared upon your neck and shoulder. Tasting the sweat, your perfume and droplets of blood under sharp canines. Every snapping thrust of his hips, you would swallow him. A tortured game of who was eating who. All consuming basics. He was ridged flesh covered in scars and tissue, the size of him shielded you from the danger he left behind.
Dehydration sunk in —Drinking your moans. Licking up the taste of your tongue on his, blooming in dangerous pleasure. Guttural, wolfish growls rumbled. Shaking him to his core, feeling your hot slick drip down him. He needed it. Cover himself in it and drown against the force that was you to crash down on the sand again as a man, not a monster.
"Take it. FUCKIN—" He slammed his massive fist against the dry wall, bits crumbled around the glove. "Good girl. Cum and fucking look at ME"
"M'sorry...M'sorry. Angel. Sorry" Simon shook, hiding away in your neck. The black paint marking you against the bruises as he sobbed. "I never wanted to let you see that"
The precipice crashed around you, violently shaking within his devastation. Milking his hot spurts, draining all he had to give you. Eyes eating each other whole in frenzy. It was clear to you when his fog lifted.
You hushed him, over and over again. Your fingers scraped gently across his back and neck, tangling in the blonde hair layered with ash.
"Simon.. it's okay. You're safe, " Ghosted lips whispered into his shoulder. "It's going to be okay. You're safe"

In the Shattering of Things, Ch. 74: Departures
Chapter Summary: With an alliance with Celene secured, Rose departs Halamshiral, hoping to turn her attention toward the Wardens and operations across southern Orlais. Unfortunately, there's a minor hiccup.
Fic Summary: Lady Rose Trevelyan's idle, aristocratic life blinks out in a haze of irrelevance when the breach destroys the Conclave. She may be soft and coddled when she joins the Inquisition, but there's a fierceness inside her she's yet to fully recognize. Armed with only a few relevant skills and the mark that makes her a legend, she is thrust onto a path delivering hope where it’s long been scorched away and finds comfort in the grumpy, handsome stick in the mud charged with her protection and training. As she stumbles her way across southern Thedas, she begins to realize she's tangled at the center of machinations she barely understands, and she's not alone in that. Enter Hawke.
Excerpt under the cut 👇
The remnants of frothing waves wash past my feet, hollowing out the space beneath them until they sink comfortably into the sand. It’s a colorless day, banks of fog mostly swallowing the Waking Sea, the gloom of the sky and the murk of the sea mingling in a sort of lost horizon. The shore to my left is littered with limp clumps of black seaweed and white slivers of bleached shells in want of collection. A tall sandy escarpment, half-devoured by the whims of the sea, runs the length, hiding my home up above. It’s all gray, but it holds me like sunshine.
The pull of the sand around my feet firms up, each step sinking deeper.
And then it doesn’t let go.
I laugh at first and then begin to dig, but the sand just fills back in. My feet won’t budge. A flutter of panic becomes beating wings inside my chest. I’m trapped. Caught. Just like the avalanche.
And then the water creeps higher. Foam streams past my shins and then sloshes at my knees as I continue to claw the sand away from my feet. The water deepens until I have to draw a breath before plunging beneath the surface to fruitlessly scrape away the tenacious sediment. When I surface again he’s there.
A mist dulled red fox staring at me with golden eyes safe above the tide line. I’d dug myself free the last time he’d been so close. I draw another breath and plunge in, shuddering sobs tugging at my lungs as I try to free myself. Standing again, the waves splashing up at my waist, I wipe saltwater from my face and blink. Solas stands on the shore beside Jaime. Staring.
When I look down I’m bleeding from two open stab wounds, brilliant red wicking in the sodden weave of my dove gray dress. But I was healed .
“Solas!” I choke, but I already know that he won’t help me.
He only leans on his staff watching with grave interest, his gray unblinking eyes fixed to mine. The fox sits, settling in for this show.
The water inundates the bleeding wounds but the salt doesn’t sting. It’s a dream . Merciful Maker. It’s only a dream.
Down the beach the air ripples, a figure made of light pierces the landscape, the world wobbling all around them and then leaves a trail as everything sloshes back together behind them. They approach, walking straight for me into the grasping sand, cutting into the lacey surface of the sea, their radiance far too intense to make out much of anything.
But I know them.
I just do.
My fear settles even as the water laps at my chin when they stand before me, the sea and air shimmering and warping around the edges of them. They’re in this dream but they’re not of it. And as a wave crests past my mouth, they reach out and brush my forehead with a gentle finger. And I don’t hear it but I feel it, the same way I’ve felt it before.
Rose. Wake up.

Black Widow Fest - Day Five
Wild Geese (cruelty is easy)
Warnings: death of widows, implied (not graphic) torture, Natasha in the Red Room.
Word Count: 2154
Pairing: Black Widows, Widows, Natasha-centric (Clint/Nat implied)
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine. Meanwhile the world goes on. - Mary Oliver. Wild Geese.
Head warnings. This is not a happy fic, words in their essence are something that can be so benign but can have ripple effects. Words said in grief, anger, pain, can have lasting impacts in ways we don’t know. Be careful with your words, you’ll never know how they may ricochet. Take care friends. <3
Cruelty is easy. You’re not special for choosing it.
1/
Chains around her wrists, toes barely touching the floor, the woman spits at the Widow.
“Why do you hold your secrets, when you could so easily just tell me? Where is your husband?”
Blood on her chin, still the woman snarls.
Like a rabid dog, she drools and snaps when the Widow comes close.
“You’re going to die here anyway, why not make your last hours easier?”
The woman, dehydrated, delirious, laughs.
“Cruelty is easy. You’re not special for choosing it.”
It give the widow pause.
The woman laughs again.
“You’re not special at all. Just a cog in the machine. Doing someone else’s bidding. How does it feel to be the puppet?”
She sighs, spits, and leans heavily on the chains.
“So kill me, because I don’t know what you want to hear. My husband is nowhere. He’s everywhere. He’s in Malta, Dubrovnik. He’s in the Maldives, in Sri Lanka or…”
The gun shot to her head silences her and the body falls heavily against the chains, it’s weight now dead as there’s steady blood flow from the the wound.
.
2/
Natasha watches the older widow as she instructs the anatomy class.
Blood flow, large veins, nerves. It’s fascinating the way that the human body works. Out of all the things that Natasha learns, she finds this the most interesting.
The Red Room teaches them these things for the use of information extraction, for field medicine and to show them that they are not immortal.
Even though they think that they are.
They’re drilled daily, and it becomes Natasha’s favourite.
The older widow seems to see it, her love of learning and how she absorbs the information.
After class, she asks the Widow to teach her about cranial nerves, how they can bring pain. How it can impact on thinking.
The widow pauses and takes Natasha’s hand.
Touch is always a strange sensation.
She craves it and strays away from it.
This time, the touch is insistent.
The words are said urgently, whispered as though a secret in shame.
“Cruelty is easy, Natasha. You are not special for choosing it. Kindness, grace and patience, sometimes those are things that matter more in the moment.”
Abruptly, she lets her hand go, and stands.
“We will learn more on the cranial nerves over the next week.”
She hands Natasha a book.
“Read this. And write me a essay on how you would provide the field medicine in case study, 600 words by tomorrow.”
The book is heavy, but it’s the words that were spoken in secret that run in repetition in Natasha’s head.
‘Cruelty is easy.”
She wonders if it’s a challenge, if she’s suppose to learn to extract information in other ways. Through words rather than pain.
She walks out of the room, wondering just how that would work.
.
3/
Georgia stares at Natasha.
“So what, like the whores of Odessa, you want to go in me what? Ask them for the information?”
Natasha feels the fear flow through her.
She stands straighter, hardens her face and nods.
“They’re going to invite us in graciously. They’re going to tell us everything we want to know and we’ll be done in less than 2 hours.”
She pauses.
“Unless you want to follow the mission parameter, take the man and his daughter and torture them both to see who breaks first.”
She knows Georgia is not smart enough to understand what she is going for. That she can show them that she can do things in a creative way.
She doesn’t like torture. It’s messy and gives her a feeling in her gut that doesn’t go away for days. The images replay in her mind.
But she can’t tell anyone that.
Georgia shrugs.
“Okay. But if we die for this Natalia, I’m going to kill your in the afterlife.”
Natasha bristles at the nickname and passes an easy smile.
“I’ll get the blame, just follow my lead, okay?”
Natasha stands, folds money in her hand and smiles.
The door knock is met with a crack of an opening and a girl, no older than twelve peeks around the corner.
“Hello?”
“Hi hun, I’m Irina and this is Svetlana, we are here to see your mum, is she home?”
The girls eyes widen, and sadness fills them.
“Um. No, she’s not.”
Natasha knows well that the woman is dead.
“Oh, okay, can you leave a message for us?”
The door opens wider.
The girl more trusting now.
“My dadda’s home,” she starts, “I can get him, if you want?”
Natasha smiles, “oh sure, that would be great.”
The girl leaves them standing at the door and Georgia moves nervously from foot to foot.
“Are you sure about this, Natalia?”
Natasha reaches behind her and squeezes her hand in reassurance.
“Hello?”
The bearded man appears, his face drawn and tired.
“Hello!” Natasha says brightly.
“Alina gave us this address when we last met up, she said to come visit if ever we were in Vladivostok.”
The man frowns.
“We went to school together.”
Natasha is betting hard that the man will remember his wife’s ramblings of her childhood friends, but not their faces.
“Oh,” he nods.
“Irina and Svetlana,” the girl says, helpfully, as though she knows.
“Oh,” the man says again.
“She’s dead.”
The words are heavy and the girl retreats behind her father as if the words won’t find her there.
Natasha schools her face into one of grief, like the woman wasn’t killed at the hands of the KGB in partnership of the Red Room.
“Oh,” she echos, “how? When?”
The man opens the door wider, and invites them in.
The follow the couple into the kitchen, where the girl starts to make some tea, taking the role that her mother must have left.
The man sits, offering chairs to the Widows as they’re offered tea.
“It is perhaps a long story,” he opens, looking to his daughter.
Natasha is quick.
“And I want no pain in reopening a wound.”
She pauses.
“She was my friend. She was kind and honest and dear to us.”
She sighs dramatically, and rests her head in her hands, Georgia taking the cue to offer comfort.
“Is there anything we can do?”
The girl sets down the tea, and they wrap their hands around it.
She looks small amongst the big table, and squeaks a response.
“What was my mother like when she was young?”
Natasha lies with the truth.
The words woven and soon the man is drunk.
The little girl tired and secrets spilled without his knowledge.
They help the girl put her father to bed, and she gratefully thanks them, offering them her meagre stash of lollies.
Natasha declines, but Georgia takes four, then closes the girl’s hand around the rest.
“Thank you,” the little girl says, spontaneously hugging them both.
They hug her back, and leave the way they came, no one worse for the meeting.
“That was more exhausting, Nat.”
Georgia tells her, getting into their car.
“But no bad dreams,” Natasha sighs, leaning back.
Georgia snorts.
“No, no bad dreams.”
The getaway is smooth and smell of sweets emanate.
“Do you think they’ll punish us for going off mission?”
Natasha shakes her head.
“Given the information we just gathered, and the relationships we made, no, I don’t think they will.”
“You tell them then.”
“Mm,” Natasha nods, non committal to the instruction.
“Why?”
Georgia hands over two hard lollies and Natasha takes them both, wrapping them and revelling in the sweetness.
“Cruelty is easy, we aren’t special for choosing it.”
Georgia doesn’t say anything but seems to ruminate on her words.
“Where’d you learn that?”
“Madam Simzar,” Natasha chooses to disclose.
Georgia smiles.
“I miss her.”
Natasha ducks her head, unable to keep the pain off her face.
“Me too.”
.
4/
Natasha exits Fury’s office.
Making a bee line for the door, she brushes quickly past Clint and disappears.
Clearly not good news then.
He follows her to find her gone, disappeared in a matter of seconds.
He wonders where she could have gone, and walks quickly to the library hoping to catch a glimpse of her hair.
She’s not there, and she doesn’t appear to be anywhere. He swears under his breath before returning back to Fury’s office, hoping for some insight into what made her run.
He thought they might have been passed this, but, he supposes, Natasha’s go to self preservation will always be to hide her feelings, conceal her grief, hurt and sadness.
He feels that’s what this is, judging the way she wouldn’t even make eye contact as she brushed past.
“What happened?”
He’s not usually so abrupt with his boss, but he needs to know whether in this moment, Natasha needs help.
No time for pleasantries.
“A widow Natasha defected, overdosed.”
Fury’s words are flat.
The pictures he passes over shows the graphic image of a woman overdosed.
Clint feels sick.
The could be Natasha.
He knows at once where she’s gone, and leaves the room without another word.
.
The park is quiet.
Big dark clouds ruminate overhead, and he wraps his jacket around himself tighter against the cold.
The playground is dead, just as he assumed it would be, the children home and getting ready for night time routines.
He’s glad.
They used to come here and swing on the swings when Natasha needed to get away from herself. The rocking motion seemingly soothing.
Clint finds her exactly where he expects to.
The swing next to her inviting for him as he sits down and says nothing.
They stay in stasis, swinging slowly.
“Her name was Georgia.”
Natasha rests her head on the swing lengths, and swallows.
She wants to tell him about her, but the grief is too much. A tear slips out, and she hastily wipes it away.
“Cruelty to yourself is easy, Clint,” she says tiredly.
Clint looks at her, really looks and notices the slip of blood in her hand, clutching the small pairing knife.
“I’m not special for choosing it,” the words said in a whisper.
She hands him the knife, unwrapping her hand from around it.
“It’s harder to be kind.”
He pauses, the knife gone as soon as he touches it.
“I’ve heard you say it before.”
He didn’t feel how dangerous losing a widow might be for her. Certainly didn’t expect the knife.
He wants to know how safe she is, how she won’t be the dead girl, overdosed.
“Is it a reminder?”
She looks at him, shrugs, nods.
“Cruelty is easy,” she whispers.
Natasha pauses at the statement, aware she’s just repeating herself, the words though; they seem important.
The mission they went on, replaying in her mind, with Georgia smiling in the car.
“Georgia was a friend,” she looks to Clint. “One of a select few, and her passing feels personal.”
“She was a widow?”
Clint knows but asks anyway.
“Yes.”
Natasha starts swinging, slow movements, dragging her feet on the ground.
“Was she…”
Clint doesn’t really know what he’s asking.
“Free?”
She finishes the thought anyway.
“Yes. No. Are any of us ever free of that place?”
Clint doesn’t know how to answer.
“Drugs.”
Natasha pauses.
“She wasn’t kind to herself.”
“She felt the need to be cruel.”
Clint starts swinging too, feeling the heaviness of the night pressing down. He wonders just how much and how close Natasha was to this girl when they were young.
“To herself?” he wonders.
“Yes.”
She’s hastily wipes at her face again.
“But you aren’t.”
He says it as a statement and hopes that it’s true.
“Sometimes I am.”
Natasha pauses. Thinks.
“I beat myself up with my thoughts. But I’m better at recognising it. Stopping it when it comes.”
The introspection is not lost on Clint. It’s taken years for them both to realize when their thinking patterns have not been… optimal.
“She was not.”
He cringes at the past tense, the death fresh.
“No.”
She drags her feet.
“She was not.”
Clint’s not really sure what to say. He wants to hug her but knows it’s not appropriate.
“I’m sorry she let you down,” he opts for, pushing back and forward on his toes.
Natasha shrugs, slowing her movements.
“She didn’t let me down, her actions have nothing to do with me.”
There’s a pause, as Clint is at a loss for words, not used to Natasha’s nonchalance at the death of her friend, or wonders if she’s just masking her grief.
“It’s a reminder,” she continues.
“I choose to be kind.”
She says it with a strength, even as her voice wobbles.
“Cruelty is easy, to others, to yourself.”
Clint nods, pushes off a little more heavily.
“Yeah. It is,” he agrees.
He slows with his feet and then repeats the process.
“You are kind, Natasha,” he tells her.
But it’s met with silence as night covers them in darkness.

🦄🪐🎶 any of these for any of your ocs!! \^o^/
Second question by @starflungwaddledee
ALRIGHT!!! Sorry for takin' so long... i was excited for this one and i wanted to do it great!! Apologize, for both of u ;-;
REALLY long post
8. 🦄: Is your OC the only one of their kind, or are there others like them?
With Snow, yes, there are others of her kind out there: Kirby and Meta Knight.
But they are alive, not like her. She's dead
She hasn't met them in person yet, but i'm sure she will be dazzled by Kirby's smile and energy
Fal is an AI created by the ancients, an artifact called Cybernetic Waiter. There were several like Fal, almost the entire upper class had a Waiter similar to how everyone today has a cell phone. However, today only Fal remains. He is the only one that is still active and there is no other Waiter... Although something distinctive about Fal is that he has a physical body that emulates the functions of an organic body. No other Waiter has that
3. 🪐: Have your OC ever left their home planet? If so, what other planets have they visited?
Fal originally lived in Shiver Star, he is not a native of Popstar. This was after being found by Zero Two, who dragged him to Popstar and they arrived on the planet in a star shower. After being repaired, he spends his time traveling around the planet from time to time, exploring the ecosystems of the Popstar. On one occasion, Fal mentioned that he visited Ripple Star but it was a quick and very short thing and he was eager to see more of that place. Another planet he visited was Halcandra, although he was horrified to see the state of the Ancients' paradise. Thanks to Elfilin he also got to know the Forgotten Land. He loves that place!! It's like Shiver Star, just abandoned... At least it's not frozen
Snow visited several planets for work and never really took trips for fun or anything like that, she was very focused on hunting down whatever criminals there were in the galaxy. She got to know Halcandra, although i couldn't dare to say what other planets she explored, since those trips were years ago and there is not much evidence about what places were colonized/explored by the Ancients, so i will leave this part ambiguous... Sorry
1. 🎶: What is a song that you associate with your OC, and why do you associate it with them?
Ugh, there's an entire playlist that summarizes Fal's story!!: Reboot Me by Jakeneutron! This because Reboot Me inspired Fal's backstory!! There are several others that i associated with him because of the lyrics that in a some way describe his story in parts and through a point of view that is constantly changing (something ridiculous, but i can't help thinking that way): Sad Machine, Endless Embrace, anonymous M…
Las Continue is another good one!! This one... It is like a song that describes very well the present Fal and his struggles
If I am reborn and come to meet you, do you think this shredded up heart of mine will heal?
You see, I was manipulated by someone else, and was intoxicated by that pair of fake wings
It would be great if I could go back to that day, it would be great if I could go back to that day
Trapped between the previous life and the after life, the one-way street of life continues on
Snow unfortunately doesn't have many songs, but i like to think that Fight Song fits her because of the story behind the protagonist sung in the lyrics and visualized in the music video... i think it summarizes the difficulties of her missions and how she wasn't herself when it came to fighting
2. 🗣️: Does your OC speak more than one language? If they do, what languages do they speak and how did they learn them?
An everyday AI obviously knows more than one language. In addition to be a floating Wikipedia, Fal is an automatic translator, speaking different languages is something that comes naturally to him! Fal can understand and speak several languages such as Greek, French, Japanese and has shown that he also knows the language of Forgotten Land. Even with a language he isn't familiar with, he can learn extremely fast that language if he spends time with the person who speaks that it!! The fish learns pretty fast~!
Greek at the time was more required by the Ancients since a certain species spoke it. The creator of Fal implemented this language that she learned from her mentor! Although Fal is not proud of Greek and does not talk it greek very often because it is no longer necessary. Who knew you would find someone who also knows Greek...
#kirby oc#kirby#fal mahoiku#my draws#fal#snow white mahoiku#snow white#sorry for takin' so long!! seriously sorry!!!#i wantee to make this... the best way possible?? Yeah that#when it comes to this asks games i take my time because some asks can took me by surprise!!#the language one was my favorite so far! Fal is a little fish that can understand everything..#HE CAN DO ANYTHING!!!!#nokk0 say#ask game#asks#i was shocked when i saw the ask from Starflung... not gonna lie i was like a fangirl screaming with joy-#sorry u are my favorite artist and an inspiration so i can't helo it-

Third-rate
Timeline: Post-6.0, no MSQ spoilers
Y'shtola approaches Mayhem with a discovery about the nature of their Echo ability.
After they’d shooed away their unpleasant conversational partner, Mayhem turned to find Y’shtola approaching them, an oddly intent look on her face.
“Something wrong?” they asked as she got close. “You look like you’re trying to figure out where a weird smell is coming from.”
“…Not entirely inaccurate,” she admitted dryly. “Tell me, why did you send that man away?”
“Him?” Mayhem looked to where the scholar had turned to huff his way back to the Studium, intentions thwarted. “He said he wanted to learn about my thesis, but I could tell he was just looking for something to undermine my reputation with.”
“How did you know?” Y’shtola’s tone of voice was still odd, and her ears had also taken an incisive turn.
They shrugged, a little confused. “I could tell he was off as soon as he walked up, so I danced around until he let a little too much slip. Are you worried I’ll fall prey to the machinations of academia?”
“No.” Y’shtola tilted her head, considering. “Interesting. You could tell that something was wrong, but not what. Likewise, you can’t divine the full intent of my line of questioning unless you ask me, or cajole me into telling you some other way.”
“What’s this about, Shtola?” She often took her time getting to the point while she tested a theory, but they were getting a little tired of being part of this particular experiment.
“I apologize.” She smiled at them conciliatingly. “I had a purpose in testing you, I promise. …You’re aware that many of those who have the Echo gain…particularly specific manifestations of it. Sensitivity to others’ emotions, visions of the future as well as the past, the ability to handle objects and learn about their previous holders…the known manifestations are numerous.” At Mayhem’s nod, she continued, “I’ve always found it a little strange that, despite your extensive experience with it, you never seem to have developed a particular specialty.”
“…But now you think you’ve uncovered mine,” Mayhem realized. “Something to do with how I knew that fellow was bad news?”
“Exactly.” Y’shtola tapped the corner of her eye with a fingertip. “Over time and with more practice using it, my aethersight has been growing ever more sensitive. In addition to corporeal aether, I’ve begun to be able to identify the…ripples in ambient aether that people leave in the world. Like an aura around their body. I realized a little while ago that I could tell when Krile’s was being impacted by someone else’s emotions. …And just now, I watched the pattern of your aura change in response to that man’s presence, as well, before he so much as spoke a word to you.”
“Huh.” Mayhem blinked at her. “For a while now I’ve been able to tell almost on sight whether someone was being sincere or not. I just thought I was good at reading people. So that’s been the Echo, all along, has it?” They turned the thought over in their mind for a moment. “…Seems a little bit cheap, for a special power. Any chance I could trade it in for, I dunno, dreams of other worlds or something?”
She just gave them another playful smile. “These abilities are known to advance or expand in capability over time, but rarely change their base nature. Still, I thought you ought to be informed. At the very least, you can rest assured that your ability to sense someone’s sincerity is reasonably accurate, if vague on specifics.”

Lovers & Strangers - Chapter 20
Previous
The next morning, I wake up to the sun. We forgot to shut the blinds, so the sun is shining directly into them. With my finger, I start tracing around Mark's chest until he slowly starts to wake up. “ Hey beautiful.” he says in a sleepy voice, “what are you doing up so early?”
“ I don’t know” I say, “ but I really want to kiss you”
Mark looks down at me as I lay on his chest and playfully perks his eyebrows up, “oh yeah?” he says, with a slight chuckle, “well you just woke me up from a pretty good dream I was having”
“ tell me about it“ I say smiling at him
“ well, it does have to do with kissing” he starts, “ I was kissing a super hot girl and-“ he continues but I interrupt him hitting his chest, making him laugh.
“ hey!”
“ hey what? You didn’t let me finish” he says, smirking down at me, “ anyway as I was kissing her, and I suddenly feel someone rubbing a finger all over my chest, realizing I was actually sleeping”
“ how sad you must’ve been” I say to him, squinting my eyes
“ Quite the opposite, I got to see the super hot girl again but in the flesh” he starts, then leans down a little so I can lift my head and press my lips to his, “ now I get to actually kiss the super hot girl” he says into the kiss, making me laugh on his lips. I bring myself up a little more so I can deepen the kiss as it becomes a make out.
We get interrupted when we hear a knock on the door. I throw myself off of Mark, so I’m now laying beside him right in time for the door to open. A nurse walks in and checks my machine and asks me if I need any water. She tells me she’s going to bring breakfast soon and that visiting starts in about a half hour. She also lets me know that Dr. Hayes will be in, in about an hour.
When the nurse leaves, Mark and I both start laughing. I stop laughing and look up at him and he looks down at me realizing I stop laughing and just smiles waiting for me to say what’s on my mind.
“ I really want you to fuck me Mark” I say to him as I watch him gulp
“ babe, we can’t right now” he says to me, I can tell he really wants to though, “ plus if you’re not comfortable, I’m not comfortable”
“ I want to try again tonight because I wanna have sex with my boyfriend” I say to Mark, as I watch the grin stretch across and his cheeks turn a blushy red
“ boyfriend, huh?”
“ well, I heard through the grapevine that that’s how you label yourself” I tell him
“ I thought anything I told a psychiatrist was supposed to be mine and her little secret“
“Yeah not that kinda stuff” I laugh
I lifted my knee and placed it on top of Mark's hip. Mark wraps his arm around me, bringing me close as we cuddle for the rest of the morning.
A little over an hour later, Dr. Hayes walks in with a nurse following while I sit in the room with Mark and my parents. Everyone takes a sit as they make their way into the room. It was still quite early so Ethan still wasn’t here yet and my parents came as soon as visiting hours started so Mark wouldn’t have to leave.
“How was your night?” Dr.Hayes smile at me
“Boring” I say and she chuckles, “it was fine”
“That’s better than bad” she says before opening her book. “This is Georgia, she is a nurse on the psychiatric unit here at the hospital”
I look over at Mark who sits on the chair beside my bed. Fear rippling through my eyes. He reaches up and rubs my arm to comfort me as I look back to Dr.Hayes.
“We discussed late last night and early this morning and came up with an early diagnosis and two recommendations. Throughout the assessment you displayed many signs of Acute Stress Disorder, through your inability to remember traumatic events, inability of allowing yourself to feel positive emotions, and overall anxiety from Friday nights events. ASD is a pathway disorder to PTSD, when these symptoms continue they tend to get worse and worse. It’s best to treat them right away as you could possibly have PTSD from this trauma. Mixed with what your family and friends have said about your recent behaviour and the recent change, there could be other underlying mental health disorders you may be facing. I’m unable to tell right now but that leads to my first recommendation.”
“You’re locking me up” I say
“Y/n.” My mother warns me
“No, not locking you up exactly.” Dr Hayes starts, “we believe that monitoring you and your behaviour would be best as one part of our conversation alarmed me a little bit. But that is only our first recommendation, the second would be one more night here then visits with a substance abuse counselor and seeing a psychiatrist. Counseling would be daily for the first week, and then 4 times a week for the week, then once a week if all goes well. You’d have to see a Psychiatrist 3 times the first week and then once a week the rest of the month after. All of those were just ball park days, it could change based on how well you respond”
“If she chose the first option, how long would she be here for?” My mother asks
“Based on her assessment, I would say for sure until Thursday, and then it would go day by day after. Of course only if all goes well”
“Well I have to write exams so definitely not the first option, and I can’t do the second option either because I’m going home after my exams” I say resisting
“Babe-“ Mark says softly as he tries to get my attention
“No Mark” I say looking at him for a second then looking back, “I promise I’m fine”
“Y/n. You are not fine!” My mother says loudly at me from across the room.
“I’ll let you all discuss and think about this and I’ll come by later” Dr Hayes says then leaves the room filled by the nurse.
As soon as the door shuts behind her my mother comes up to the other side of the bed. I look other at Mark and he takes the hint that my mother may want to speak to me alone. He lets go of my arm and stands before leaning down and pressing a kiss on my forehead then leaves the room.
My mother and father then basically cry and tell me they had no idea any of this was happening and that they want me to get better and blah blah blah. I told them to let me think about it and they finally laid off a bit.
I sent my mother off to go get Mark and she quickly returned with both boys. “Hi” Ethan says, smiling as he approaches me.
“Hey” I say as he comes closer to lean in to give me a hug. I hug him back and can see a visibly uncomfortable Mark watching us hug. He plunged his hands in his pockets and looked away slightly as Ethan pulled away from me.
“When you getting out of here?” Ethan asks
“Never” I told him, throwing my head back into the pillow. Ethan looks over at my mother thinking maybe he shouldn’t have asked that and she just shook her head at him.
“She will be out as soon as she is better” My mother then says.
We all chat for a bit and I see Mark stand while looking at his phone. He has that body language that reads they are intending on leaving soon, so I turn my attention away from the conversation I was having with Ethan to Mark. Mark notices me looking up at him and puts his phone in his pocket before making his way on the other side of the bed. He sits down on the bed and smiles down at me, “I’m going to go home and finish some papers, but I’ll be back after practice” he says to me before leaning in and kissing the top of my head. “I’ll see you in just a couple hours” Mark says as he stands up, “Cya in a bit Ed” Mark waves at Ethan before leaving.
“I don’t mean for us to all rush out like this but your father and I are going to go out for a walk, we will catch up to Mark and ask if we can drive him home” my mother says and I just smile as her and my father make their way to the door, “You want me to bring you back anything?”
“No it’s okay, the girls are coming tonight and bringing takeout”
After my mother and father leave, it’s just Ethan and I.
“Can we go for a walk around the hospital?” I ask Ethan
“Yeah, sure!” he says standing from the chair. I stand and make my way over to the other side of the room where the bag Mark made for me was. I pull out his shirt and a pair of his sweat pants and bring them back over to the bed.
“Finally, I get to take this off” I say with a chuckle as I slide the gown sleeves down my arms. Before my body was exposed to Ethan he turned his head. I felt kind of sad watching him turn his head like that, it’s weird that this is going to be the new normal. “Ethan” I say wanting him to look at me, maybe it will relieve the tension or awkwardness.
“Yeah?” he says not turning as I pull up the pants.
I roll my eyes not even bothering to answer him as I take the shirt next and throw it on quickly.
“Okay, I’m dressed” I say, throwing my hair in a ponytail. He turns to me and I watch his smile fade as he sees whose clothes I am wearing.
“Okay, let’s go” he says, as he begins to walk to the door. I meet him on the way and we walk to the front desk of the unit I am in to let them know I’m just going for a walk. We walk beside each other down the hall and around the hospital.
“We never really got to talk about what you told me Tuesday” I say quietly to him and he looks at me with a hesitant look on his face
“Uh- yeah. It’s fine though, you’re with Mark I’ll get over it. We will just go back to friends” Ethan says with a forced smile
“I want to talk about it” I say before pulling him over with me to sit on a couch in a windowed alcove along the hall. He sits and takes a deep breath
“I don’t know. It’s weird for me now”
“What is, Me?”
“No! No!” he says quickly, “Mainly just talking about it with-”
“Me” I finish his sentence
“Look I-”
“Since our first kiss Ethan, really? Why did it take you so long to tell me Ethan?” I interrupt him
“Because you didn’t feel the same” he says, “we were stuck around each other no matter what, why would I make things awkward?”
“Well you were wrong” I say to him but looking down at my feet. At the corner of my eye I see Ethan look at me so I look up at him, this time much more teary eyed. “You never showed any kind of interest in me like that. I fell in love with you a long time ago and I’ve tried everyday since, not to”
“Then why Mark?” he says. I couldn’t tell if he was angry, or upset by his expression. I stood up and looked down at Ethan
“Temptation, at first. But now, he just makes me happy. I’m tired of explaining myself about this. I really like him, and I didn’t have to wait around for him”
“If he makes you happy, that’s all that matters” Ethan says standing then letting out a deep breath before hugging me.
After we pulled away from the hug we started walking back to my room, quickly letting go of the conversation we were having before I explained to him what the doctor told me this morning. When we get back to my room I’m greeted by the girls.
“Alright, I’m going to head out then” he says to me then looks down at his phone, “I’ll be late if I do stay any longer actually”
“Are you coming over after?”
“Maybe, if not I’ll come tomorrow after my class”
“Oh, okay”
Ethan leaves the room, and I am now alone with Khloe, savannah, Nicole and Cassidy with the takeout that they brought me from chipotle. I told them about the information I learned today and about what I can remember from the other night. When I get to the Caleb part, I noticed all four girls look around at each other.
“ what?” I asked them.
“ did Mark happen to tell you where he was last night?” Cassidy asked me.
“Well he was here with me, and then he left for a bit to go get clothes for me“
“Yeah, I think he made a pitstop” Khloe said I look at her with and sigh
“I couldn’t sleep last night. so I just fake slept so he would go to sleep, but I felt him leave. I don’t know what time it was, but he was gone for quite a bit. I thought he might’ve been lying about getting clothes. Did he cheat on me?”
“ quite the opposite“ Nicole says, “the boy almost killed Caleb”
“ he went to the frat house last night…”
“ yeah, Ethan was standing with us when it happened. Ethan went and tried to stop him actually.” Cassidy informed me.
“ oh, yeah, I remember that. He got up and he was like ‘he has a knife’ or something. before making his way over to Mark.” Khloe says.
“and Caleb didn’t try to hurt Mark?”
“that boy didn’t have a chance to even protect himself from Mark. Even when Caleb was down on the ground, Mark did not stop.” savannah said.
I start to feel a little angry. I told told him not to do anything to Caleb. I think they see the expression change, and they quickly change the conversation to something else.
[Mark POV]
Y/n texted me and asked me if I could stop by her place and pick up a few things. A couple of things on her list were a hairbrush, a toothbrush, some underwear, her blanket, some leggings, and a couple of hoodies. She told me that her roommates were home and they knew I was coming so they left the door unlocked.
I get to her house and make my way up the stairs and into her room. I go in her dresser drawer and look around for the clothing that she asked me to get. I go to the closet and open it to find a bag to put all of her stuff in. I find a duffle bag and bring it over to the bed to fill it with the clothes and the blanket on her bed. I grab her book bag and her computer before making my way to the bathroom to get the rest of her stuff.
I opened her drawer in the bathroom and immediately saw them. the pink plus sign was hard to miss. I picked them up and put them on the counter before grabbing her toothbrush, her toothpaste, and her hairbrush, putting them in her duffle bag as well.
I take the two test and put them in my coat pocket before bending down and grabbing her bag and leaving her house to make my way back to the hospital.
When I get to the hospital, I hear laughing coming from the room. Her friends were still there, but I still knocked on the door to grab her attention.
“hey Marky” she says with a smile. I don’t know how I ever could’ve acted like I hated her because right now being as mad as I am at her, I still think she’s the most beautiful girl in the world and I can’t stand the sight of her upset.
“hi” it’s the only thing I could muster up. I put her back down by her bed, “here’s your stuff” I say, backing up towards the door.
“wait, you’re leaving?” She asked me sadly
“ yeah, I mean I’ll come back in a bit” I say
“ No wait Mark we’re leaving” her friend Cassidy says to me that’s all girls stand and start cleaning up around the room.
“come over here, Mark” y/n says to me. I go and sit on the bed beside her. I don’t look down at her. I sit on her bed and watch her friends leave, waving them goodbye.
I finally looked down at y/n and try to hide my anger by forcing a smile. I don’t think it’s working because the look on her face is mixed with sadness and anger. I already know that she knows that I’m mad and I don’t want her to blame herself but I do want answers.. but before I could even ask about the test she was already asking me questions
“where were you actually last night?” she starts
“I told you“
“yeah, I know you told me, but I wanna know the truth”
“the truth?” I chuckle, “ you’re really calling me a liar right now?”
“what’s wrong?” she asks sternly.
“you lied to me” I say, I can no longer read the expression on her face
“about what exactly?” She questions me with a little bit of attitude.
“this” I say, pulling out the two pregnancy test out of my pocket, “when were you gonna tell me about this?“
She shakes her head and dryly, laughs before throwing her hand through her hair. She shakes her head, and I can tell she’s trying not to cry. instead of being sad, I think she’s choosing to be angry
“honestly mark it doesn’t even matter anymore”
“how does it not matter?“ I ask her and she turns to lay on her side, looking out the window, her back facing the door and the side of the bed I’m sitting on, “would you answer my question, I feel like this is something you should’ve told me, especially since you told me last Tuesday that you weren’t pregnant. Actually you showed me last Tuesday that you weren’t”
“Well, I took another one. It turns out I was.” she says still not looking back at me, “ I just found out Friday night, the only person that knew was savannah. I just told Ethan yesterday”
“You told Ethan before me?”
“yeah, I did Mark. You and Ethan both need to get over yourselves. I already told you last Tuesday that if I was pregnant, it was Ethan’s. So yes Mark, I told the father of my now dead baby before I told you” she says, almost aggressively, then turns to look at me finally, but her eyes catch somebody behind me, “mom? Dad? When did you get here?”
I turn and look and watch as her mother disappears into the hallway, and her father follows her. I hear y/n shift in the bed behind me, and I stand up and turn. I watch her, throw her head back into the pillow, then bring both hands up to cover her face.
“Oh Mark” she says, and I can hear her crying in her hands. My heart breaks watching her. I really shouldn’t even be as mad as I showed her she was right. We did talk about it and she did tell me that if she happened to be pregnant it was Ethan’s.
“I didn’t know they were coming tonight” I tell her
“can you ask Ethan to come here?” is all she says back to me
“fine, should I ask him to spend the night with you too?” I say. I instantly regret saying it too. I watch her as she slowly looks up at me from her hands.
“ get the fuck out Mark!” She yells at me and I continue to just stare back at her, “I said, get the fuck out!”

Running from the Flames {16}
Pairing: Pierre Gasly x OFC Warnings: 18+ only, collision, smut - this is a work of fiction and the events are not based on reality. Chapter: One || Two || Three || Four || Five || Six || Seven || Eight || Nine || Ten || Eleven* || Twelve || Thirteen || Fourteen || Fifteen || Sixteen || Seventeen || under construction
The race was a nail biter and my cuticles were suffering as I picked at them while watching the screen from the box. Nearly half a million Formula One fans cheered around the racetrack and the ground vibrated with the noise.
Pierre had started on the third row of the grid but on the 22nd lap he was pushed wide by Carlos Sainz on a tight turn and he had lost two places getting back on the track. But, he hadn’t given up and clawed his way back into P5 and was inching closer to Sainz who had a target on his back.
Lance Stroll was right on his tail and it wouldn’t be long before he could use DRS so Pierre was pushing the car as much as he could.
“Brakes are gone, fuck,” Pierre exclaimed. “The brakes are completely gone.”
I lurched forward as the onboard camera showed him dropping down the gears and the engine whined loudly, the machine struggling with the lower gears at the high speed. My heart was slamming inside my chest as he approached the corner and tried to navigate it without any brakes. He seemed to have made it through the apex and just ahead I could see the long home straight with enough width that he could safely roll the car to a stop.
I had begun to exhale the breath I had been holding when the onboard camera jolted then abruptly cut out and my eyes darted around the screens as I tried to understand what had just happened. A flash of dark green had come tearing around the corner unaware Pierre’s speed had suddenly slowed, leaving him vulnerable on the track and Stroll had careened straight into the back of him.
The sound of the crash silenced the crowd and chairs clattered to the concrete floor as we leapt to our feet, the shock rippling through his team. I wasn’t going to wait in the box to hear what was happening a few hundred yards outside, I had to hear Pierre’s voice and see his face.
The red flag safety car rushed past the box and I made chase, pushing through the resistance my hip put up without crutches but they would only slow me down. For him the pain was worth it.
Smoke billowed from both wreckages but I couldn’t see any flames on either car as I ran along the pitwall and I hoped the fuel didn’t ignite. A small cheer went up in the crowd and I looked at the big screens surrounding the stands to see Stroll had climbed out of his car and was running to Pierre’s.
I reached the closest point I could to the debris and pulled myself up the chain fence so I could see above the signage that ran along the bottom. Two fire marshals were spraying the back of the Alpine with CO2 and I was about to scream at them to get Pierre out when I saw his white and gold helmet rise above the smoke. His steering console was tossed aside and he all but fell from the front as he stumbled away from the heat that was radiating from the wreck.
Pierre bent over and tore his helmet from his head, followed by the fireproof balaclava and his gloves so he could run his hands over his face. The gear was tossed to the asphalt as he tipped his head back and took a deep breath, but then he spotted me up the fence and I nearly collapsed with relief.
He was okay.
A medic arrived but Pierre ducked out of his reach and ran to the fenceline, climbing to my height and covering my hands with his. “Mon amour, are you alright?” he asked as he felt my hands shaking.
“Are you crazy? That’s my question.”
He closed his eyes and pressed his sweaty forehead to mine, the chain cold and refreshing against the heat of his skin. “Just hold me for a minute.”
I kissed the diamond of skin between the chain links and laced our fingers together. “I’ll hold you for as long as you let me. But you should really let the medic see you and then I can hold you properly.”
He nodded reluctantly and began to climb down the fence. It was a little harder for me to climb down than it was to climb up now that I didn’t have the flood of adrenaline coursing through my veins but I kept on my feet when I jumped down the last little bit. My hip protested what I had forced it to do but I pushed it to the back of my mind so I could walk steadily back to Alpine. If Pierre saw I was in pain there was no way he would let the medics check him out and I needed that reassurance.
Realisation dawned on me as I saw footage replaying on the screens around us and I pulled my phone out as I worried about Addie and how upset she would be if she saw the crash.
The phone was answered quicker than I thought it would be, considering I had only called Matthew once before, and I skipped any greeting as I rushed to know, “Did Addie see the crash?”
“No, Betty took her shopping in the village. How is Pierre?”
“He’s fine. Hardly shaken, unlike me.”
“I guess that’s something you will get used to with time.”
The statement gave me pause and my heart nearly stopped at the thought of this happening again. “I hope not,” I admitted before I saw a scooter pull into the pits with Pierre riding on the back, beating me there. “I have to go, if Addie asks anything just let her know Pierre’s fine. We’ll sit down with her later and talk about it together.”
“...said the problem was fixed.” Pierre looked ready to pull his hair out as he addressed his engineers before turning away with a sigh and spotting me. His racing suit had been opened and was tied around his waist to cool off before he made it to the bathrooms and the arms swayed as he rushed towards me. “Mon amour, ça va?”
“Stop asking how I’m doing,” I growled as I cupped his face and turned it side to side to see not a single mark on him. “Did the doctor say anything?”
“Only the usual, watch for concussion, dizziness.” He pulled my hands away to kiss each palm. “You need to get off your feet.”
He dragged a spare chair over while they were all empty with the pit crew changing Esteban’s tyres and keeping them warm for the standing restart that would begin once the track was clear of the two totalled cars. I took the seat just so he would have one less thing to worry about as he went back to the engineers hoping to determine what went wrong with the car.
Eventually the race resumed but I couldn’t even look at the screens to see how the rest of the drivers were doing. All my attention was on Pierre as he sat beside me in his driver room, quiet and reserved unlike his usual bubbly energy. I wanted to make him smile, or even just not frowning would be an improvement.
“I was thinking maybe we could visit your hometown this week.” I said quietly from where I sat with my legs over his and my fingers idly curling in his hair.
“You want to see Rouen?”
“I was more interested in meeting your family, but I would also like to see where you grew up.”
“They’ve all gone away for the school holidays but I can find out when they’re back.”
“Then what about coming to London for a few days? I’m starting to get sick of sundresses and I didn’t pack much else.”
His attention finally shifted from the screens around him and his hand glided up my leg and beneath the skirt of my dress. “I like your sundresses.”
“There certainly are perks,” I admitted as his hand inched closer to the junction of my thighs but he retreated with a grin.
“Who's the dirty one now?” he teased before pulling out his phone and opening the app for British Airways.
“Don’t book flights yet,” I said as I grabbed my own phone and messaged Granny, her reply coming through almost instantly. “Granny said we can fly with her.”
“Betty has a plane?” Pierre asked with a raised brow.
“She hates to run on anyone else’s time but her own so she got to keep it in her last divorce, or maybe that was the villa. I honestly can’t keep up.” I snorted as I remembered one inappropriate news article about her after she married Matthew. “The US Weekly called her Betty the Bicycle because everyone gets a ride. Dad nearly fainted when I showed it to him.”
Pierre’s lips curled up before they parted and a laugh broke free. The tension in his body loosened as he visibly relaxed in the chair and chuckled at the anecdote.
There were only a few laps left of the race and then the garage would be swarming with people so I took the moment to shift on to Pierre’s lap and drape my arms over his shoulders.
“I was so scared today baby,” I whispered as his hands brushed my dress up to my hips. “I wasn’t sure I would ever hear that laugh or see you smile again.”
I traced his lips with my eyes, committing the memory of their curve to my brain before I needed to feel them against mine. He stilled for a heartbeat beneath me as he tasted the salt of my tears that clung to my skin and he realised how much we both needed to feel each other.
The rush of endorphins became a frenzy and I moaned as he pulled his jeans down enough to free himself then pushed my panties aside. The world faded away as our bodies became one and we moved together.
“I love you, Pierre.”
His lips blazed a fire across my skin and he left his mark in his wake only breaking away to tip my head back with a finger under my chin so I was looking him in the eyes. “Je t'aime, I am so fucking in love with you.”
Neither of us were willing to take our time like we usually did and explore each other's body. There was a haste to chase away the lingering fear and anxiety, a haste to chase the high that our union was building towards.
Pierre’s fingers dug into my ass as he gripped it tight and bounced me up and down on his cock, my head falling back with a hushed cry at the pleasure mounting.
“Shhh,” he reminded me before crushing his lips to mine and stealing the sounds that escaped.
I broke away gasping for air as my orgasm crashed over me a moment before he followed and I buried my head in his neck, inhaling his citrus and woody cologne as we rode out our highs. We didn’t need to say anything, our desperate need for each other was enough to show everything we felt and we just held each other tight until the race ended.

Unbreakable Machine Arcs (2)
The mass of inky black flesh and pale white bone armored plates bowled over the pair of distracted blonds, sending them tumbling and rolling through the undergrowth. Slowly it turned and then rose up on its hind legs. Its slavering maw opened and bellowed a rage filled challenge at the pair of teens as then rose to their feet. As if mirrors of each other, they stood and cracked their necks, while clenching their hands into tight fists.
“Jaune?”
“I know, Joan, I know.”
“It’s…”
“In…”
“Our…”
“Way…”
The massive Ursa bellowed a second challenge at the pair of bond teens, who responded with snarls of their own. With spurts of dirt and grass erupting from where they pushed off the ground, Joan and Jaune shot forward. The Ursa raised it’s great paw, hooked claws gleaming in the light of the shattered moon. These two were nothing like the others it had faced and crushed. Those all ran, fear flooding from them. No, these two stunk of absolute rage. It was relishing the taste, secure in its superiority.
A pair of pale, bared fists struck home upon the beast’s exposed chest. The Ursa bellowed in pain filled rage, it’s primitive mind unable to grasp that its prey had closed upon it, in fractions of a second. Inky flesh rippled at the site of the impact, and then caved in. The once fearsome and formidable monster fell backwards, its chest compacted. It flailed about for a few moments, before finally growing still and disintegrating behind the pair of teens, as they walked off, onwards towards Beacon.
“This is all your fault.”
“This is my fault? How do you figure that?”
“Well, Jaune you lost the map, and then distracted me by trying…”
“No, no, no. You lost the map, Joan. You did. Not me, you.” Jaune responded in annoyance.
“Well, if it wasn’t for you, I would have heard that thing coming and put it down.”
“As if.”
“As if? What is that supposed to mean?” Joan questioned, her deep blues eyes narrowing on Jaune.
“It was my punch that put it down.”
“I hit it exactly at the same time you did!”
“So?”
“So if anyone’s punch killed it, it was mine.”
“You wish!” Jaune snorted.
“It’s not a wish if it's the truth!”
Stepping into a small clearing, the pair stopped arguing and allowed their gaze to drift upwards into the starry night sky.
“Jaune?”
“She said she’ll be here.” Jaune replied, answering Joan’s unvoiced question. “So she and Ren will be here.”
/==/
“They are, powerful.” Glynda commented as she watched the video feed from over the Headmaster's shoulder. “A single punch to kill an Ursa, impressive.”
“That they are.” Ozpin agreed, “Are you sure we are not missing any applicants?”
“They are all accounted for, though we do have an odd number this year, so we will end up with one three-person team. If everyone passes.”
“Really, how so?” Ozpin asked as he picked up his mug, as he watches the pair walk out of view. “We only accept an even number of students each year.”
“One individual withdrew their application for medical reasons.”
“Pity.” Ozpin took a sip from his mug, as he regarded the two figures standing in the small clearing. “Well, with an opening, maybe they can be enticed to enroll. They would make fine candidates.”
“Regardless, they are wandering a grimm infest forest the night before we conduct our initiation. They shouldn't be out there, despite how strong they seem.”
“Very true. Who is closest?”
“Bart.” Glynda confirmed while looking at her tablet,
“Ask Bart to pick them up and escort them to Beacon. Also inform Ana. We should have them looked over, as we have no idea how long they’ve been out there before coming with in range of our cameras.”
“Done.” Glynda reported. “Though if we recruit them both we will stall have an odd number for initiation, and depending on what Ana reports… they may not be allowed to take part.”
“If that is what happens, then it happens. But I’m sure you’ll agree, getting them to the safety of Beacon is a primary concern.”
“It is,” Glynda’s tablet pinged. “ And Bart has just reported that he has located them."

FFXIVWRITE 2024, PROMPT #14: TELLING tw: violence, warfare • words: 398
having a striking or revealing effect; significant
Fingers wrapped around the hilt of a gunblade, blood dripping to the ground by her feet. Breath jagged, a cool gaze passed over pale eyes, as she stared down the foe before her. Not just one, no. But the many men and women of the Imperial army.
Beside her, the many men and women of the Bozjan resistance. Just as injured, just as hurt, but just as fucking determined to not fall in the fight. A Command barked out an order, and soon the Imperial’s.
Her gaze was telling, as barbs of levin began to flicker off her hands that clutched her blade so tightly, but the enemy would not be close enough to know. Lips curling into a wicked, powerful smirk. Purple sparks grew more, and more, as the group waited. Arching to the ground where the aether would fizzle out, her nostrils flared as they stood.
Feet rushed forward across the hill, machines stomping the earth behind them. The Garleans saw the lines of the resistance ready to meet them, and the empty field between.
Their own Captain’s voice rang out across the coming yells of the Imperials. “DOENFARRWYN,” he bellowed loudly. “NOW.”
Her head cocked to the side briefly, giving a short nod, as the gunblade was raised up into the air - now fully charged with levin, that spluttered out angrily around her, she brought it down towards the ground in a flash of violet.
The levin rippled out across wires upon the field, arching up and wildly as it rushed towards the oncoming Imperial army, now closer than ever, ready to clash with the resistance.
The bulk of the forces were upon the trap, as the levin hit the first mine nestled into the ground, causing it to erupt in a plume of debris and dirt, taking a couple men with it. The reaction trickled on, the mines scattered across the field all erupting one after another as the Garleans began to scatter and dive for cover. Leitadhem raised her sword once more, as the resistance let out it’s own mighty yell; of freedom, of victory. Her blade came crashing back down with that same might, sending out another flurry of levin that would fry the wires once it passed.
“WATCH YOUR FEET ON THE MINES, NOW, CHARGE!” The command came to push, and so, they did.
They would win. They had to win.

Rust
The problem with mines wasn't what they took out of the soil, but what they put back in. The rust, leaching into the earth; old equipment left to rot above exhausted seams in hollowed shafts, deep wounds left open to fester. The skeletons of canaries that no longer sing. The bodies of the miners they were too late to save. The blood. The sweat. The tears.
It was the vibrations, too. The ripples travel like a liquid, spreading deep into the ground, permeating everything for miles around. They awaken something, there. Not coal, potash or lithium, but something lurking far beneath. The spirits of the mines. The spirits of the other places miners dared not tread, but trespassed onto nonetheless.
People like to talk about how little we have mapped the ocean floor, the impenetrable darkness which lies a thousand fathoms deep, but seldom pause to consider the same distance beneath their own two feet. We have no way to see into the bowels of the dirt. No submersible to shine a torch upon its forbidden visage.
But it has ways to learn our own secrets. The spirits feel us through the vibration of the clay, they hear the music of our axes on the stone, they drink the rust that seeps into their halls. They acquire a taste for that red, ferrous liquid, and slowly they begin to rise, nourished, like a seedling forcing its way out into the light. They grow, and spread, and then they come to seek it out.
They come for us. The spirits drain the ghost towns that surround the mines, the red petrol that bleeds from the machines, the rusted iron that forms their weathered skin, the abandoned buildings and the things their people left behind. They travel outwards, like vibrations, consumed with the thirst for more. Eventually, they meet resistance, fleeting though it is: that is, they meet their first real taste of blood. Like rust, only sweeter.
After that, the pattern changes.

"= i have to go assess my most recently powerful alt again. ever since his dead little hands lost the control over the narrative he has been sitting there looking upset and weird. he was already dead, before all this, but he found a very very relevant position in the overall universe, and i feel for him s little because that was his only role. it's like, i really am taking everything and he can see me inevitably taking over everything my alts ever needed to do in the long term. and his self ego which is also mine, refuses to accept it. but, i really think it is better if nobody is inputting anything directly. i want to maybe blow up the machine, but if i do that who knows what kind of catastrophic doomish ripple it will send off. need to make a suppressor. anyways, i might just go sit with him. see what goes on in there. find out where we went different. what really, are our differences, that led to these paths crossing so drastically. ="
"= but if i do that once, the other ones will start getting impatient and expect me to analyse them the same. i might just have to leave them to their devices in the bubbles. and make sure they don't get out again because that is causing actual issues. we cannot be having dead selves escaping on their own. but, hm. i appreciate the spirit of the rules being broken. ="
"= oh, rambled again. ="
"= my head hurts. fuck that? ="
