appears as a character named Nabeshin in Excel Saga

and btw there is a reference to Jigen in the Excel Saga manga by Koshi Rikudo

I'm SO happy about the EarthMix cameo, I think it really shows what a close relationship the two productions are having with each other. I'll be honest, the HK remake was a little lackluster for me (it wasn't terrible, but it lacked the sincerity that makes this franchise what it is), but I've been excited about the GMMTV version since it was announced coz EarthMix, to me, are perfect for HaruMaki. Even if it doesn't live up to the original, I think it could still be a really lovely and entertaining show, and the partnership with TV Asahi signals the level of care that I hope they'll take.

I even have a friend who doesn't like Madara and Obito, but he gets their characters better than most fans I've encountered 😭

The eternal question - is it worse to read the words of someone who hates a character you love but is accurate/respectful in their points/portrayal, or someone who loves them more than you do but strips them of all nuance and greyness to legit "they did nothing wrong" when they did SO MUCH WRONG?

Ngl, I'm more interested to see whether Take finally gets lucky and finds a cute bf than in whatever weird thing is going on in Izumi's and Rikudo's house. Don't get me wrong, the ending was very sus and the preview doesn't make it any better, but man, I've been waiting for Take to find a new love forever. Also, Izumi being picked up and carried about like a princess was so good. But can we please actually see the whole thing and not just bits and pieces here and there the next time?
