All Blacks v Springboks: The Rugby Championship will take place in Auckland.
This Saturday at 8 a.m. All Blacks v Springboks Rugby on Sky Sports, watch the Rugby Championship match between New Zealand and South Africa.
England vs. France, Ireland vs. England, New Zealand vs. Australia, Munster vs. Leinster, and Scotland vs. England are just a few examples of great rugby rivalry. But for many, the matchup between New Zealand and South Africa comes in first.
This Saturday’s matchup between the All Blacks and the Springboks will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Action at 8:05 a.m. It is widely regarded as the main matchup of the shortened 2023 Rugby Championship season.
The Rugby Championship 2023 fixtures | All Blacks Rugby Championship Schedule 2023
In their 103 previous encounters, the All Blacks have 61 victories, the Springboks 38, and four ties. But statistics don’t do their competition and relationship credit in the slightest.
Growing up in South Africa and choosing rugby as your sport of choice meant hopes of playing against one team: The All Blacks, as former Springbok wing Ashwin Willemse explained to Sky Sports a few years ago.
We all grew up in a country were playing in a Test match against the All Blacks was the one game that we all desired to experience.
How to watch All Blacks v Springboks | South Africa vs. New Zealand
All Blacks v Springboks Rugby on Sky Sports Action will broadcast every match of the Rugby Championship. Sky Sports can be added to existing plans for an additional £24 per month, or subscriptions can start at £20 per month. Fans may also watch the action live through the Sky Sports app and website.

LESS = MORE art tips vol.2
I can't stress enough with this. If it's not realism, then why do people feel the need to make their jobs so detailed that it hurts to look at?
Anyways let's get onto breaking down the examples.
A.
So, avoid blending. Please. It doesn't make the colours pop in the slightest and makes everything look like a porridge, just a bad way to present a stylised artwork. Just don't blend and add normal shadows. That's the only way out of it. Also make sure to use as much colour you can to make the work look more complicated than it is. Also line art can be messy. It's even better because it gives work some personality and makes it more lively, while a single line makes it do the opposite and lose everything.
colours = ur bezzies
no blending
use your line art skills
restrain yourself from using a thin brush
B.
Logos. It's easy but at the same time not. I just recommend listing down things that make the logo stand out, like I did with Castore. It's just a pair of wings, so quite simple, just drew the wings with no text and detail in them. I did the same with Adidas as seen on examples C and E, as well as the fern logo on the both examples. As long as you know what it is, and are confident that you've portrayed it nicely, no one is going to ask questions. Plus people don't even look at it in detail!
the less detail the better
absolutely no text allowed
3-4 lines max
if it's a letter, don't even thing about recreating the same font - just draw a lazy A or B and call it a day.
C.
Again, like in example A, blending is avoided at all costs, and like in B, the logos are simplified to a level where it's recognisable if you know what you're doing. Shadows are done in a nice tone, and there's not much difference between example A and C other than the colours used and the part of the body portrayed in them. It's also visible that I've simplified the face, Rieko Ioane in this case - it might not seem like it, but if I go around saying that it's Rieko, then it is going to be Rieko and nobody can do anything about it. Just know what you're drawing, and take every short-cut you see.
just don't blend alright
know who you're drawing
simplify everything
messier line art - more personality
D.
Trust me, unless it's realism, nobody's going to chop your head off if Marcus doesn't have each of his hair strands drawn individually (actually yes they are because there's a simpler way than drawing each strand) so just don't do it, and do it like seen in example A - no blending, just a good line art that provides everyone with everything they need to know. Moral of the story - DO NOT draw hair strands, use lines, it's simpler and you won't actually die from stress.
detail = bad
nobody even cares
just use your pen/pencil brush alright
E.
If you're not a muppet you've noticed that it's literally picture C but altered. That's to show how to do SIMPLE highlights. Yes, an airbrush tool or marker tool is allowed here - but only here, and to make it more convincing, I recommend adding streaks of the same colour but with the pen slash pencil tool (depends on what programme you're using!) Like I've written down there, it's completely alright to not use the highlights - they're loads of work but if needed, no shame in doing that either.
highlights are the only case where other brushes are tolerated.
add shine or glow mode to the layer
one colour and do it lightly to not steal anything from the work
Moral of the story - just don't do anything stupid, don't go deep into detail, don't blend unless really needed, and the pen/pencil tool is the only legal one unless a certain exception. As long as it's not realism (or attempted realism)

Coupe du Monde. Analyse.

Rieko Ioane in action for Blues against Fijian Drua during Super Rugby season
2024 Super Rugby For the Crusaders game on Blues Saturday in Christchurch, the All Blacks Rugby‘ backline combo of Rieko Ioane and Stephen Perofeta have recovered from injury, which is a boost for the Blues.
After missing the previous two weeks of play due to a concussion, Ioane makes his comeback to the run-on side at outside centre. Meanwhile, Perofeta, who has been sidelined since March due to a shoulder ailment, will start at full back.
Prior to the Blues’ triumph against the Highlanders in Auckland last Saturday, Perofeta was listed on the bench; however, he left the team just before the game began.

After being rested for the Highlanders game, Blu captain Patrick Tuipulotu also makes a comeback to the match-day squad, lining up in the second row with Sam Darry.
Mark Tele’a and Hoskins Sotutu, who are positioned on the right wing and number eight, respectively, are among the other players who are rejoining head coach Vern Cotter’s significantly altered starting lineup.
Due to Sotutu’s comeback, Adrian Choat, who played in the number six jersey the previous week, packs down on the openside while Akira Ioane moves from the base of the scrum to the blindside flank.
We’re fortunate to have a variety of high-quality looseies available, Cotter remarked. This week is Choaty, Aki, and Hoskins’ turn, and I’m sure they’ll give it their all in their performance.
Two other changes have been made to the back-line: Taufa Funaki has taken Sam Nock’s place at scrum-half, while AJ Lam has moved from outside center to left wing.
Blues make a daring attempt to get Beau-den Barrett back to Super Rugby Pacific as soon as possible.
The last change comes up front, where Marcel Renata is replaced by Angus Ta’avao as the starting tight head prop. He packs down in the front row with loose head prop Ofa Tu’ungafasi, who signed a contract extension with the Blu earlier this week, and Kurt Blunder, the hooker.
For their journey to Christchurch this week, the Blu have decided to rest All Blacks studs Dalton Papali’i and Caleb Clarke.
The Blues are leading the standings in Super Rugby Pacific with just two matches remaining in the regular season, and Cotter stated that nothing changes for them when they play their fiercest opponents.

The stars of rugby at the Salle des Etoiles, where else?
The legendary Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, shined even brighter with the international rugby stars for the World Rugby Awards on Sunday, November 26, 2017, in the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. Prince Albert who did not want to miss this important rugby gathering, ended up missing the first period of the highly anticipated Monaco-PSG football match played that same evening.

The two lists of honorable nominees, selected for exhibiting greatness and personifying rugby’s character-shaping principles, had been established by a panel of experts composed of world champions like Richi McCaw, John Smit, George Gregan, Maggie Alphonsi, Dlive Woodward, Brian O’Driscoll, Fabien Galthie and Agustin Pichot.
Beauden Barrett winning prestigious award back-to-back
Beauden Barrett, 26 years old in the All Black’s No.10 jersey, becomes only the second player to win the prestigious award two years in a row, matching the achievement of his former All Blacks captain Richie McCaw from 2009-10. He received the award ahead of four other nominees in All Blacks team-mate Rieko Ioane, England and British Lions duo Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje and Australia full-back Israel Folau.
Barrett said: “I’m very proud and surprised. I wanted to be better than last year and I still think I have plenty more to go. The Lions series put us under the most pressure I have probably felt in a black jersey and that’s a credit to the Lions. We learnt a lot from that series, particularly taking that into the World Cup. When I hang the boots up, that’s when I can look back and be really proud of this. I’ve got to thank my team. I am just one player amongst a great team.”
Portia Woodman joins the very best
The 26-year-old New Zealand winger Portia Woodman, was named the World Rugby Women’s Player of the Year 2017 after helping the Black Ferns win a fifth Women’s Rugby World Cup title in Ireland in August. She received the award ahead of four other nominees in Black Ferns team-mate Kelly Brazier, England winger Lydia Thompson and France back-row duo Romane Menager and Safi N’Diaye.
Woodman said: “Obviously just winning the Team of the Year award shows just how good our team is, and they make me look good. They do all the work and I am out there on the sideline just waiting for the ball. My mum wasn’t a big fan of me playing rugby, but I think she was going to support me no matter what and, without them (my parents), I obviously wouldn’t be where I am because they pushed me to do everything I can to the best of my ability.”

SUPER RUGBY - BLUES 56 REBELS 18
Teenage centre Rieko Ioane underlined his enormous potential with a hat-trick of tries to fire the Auckland Blues to a 56-18 demolition of the Melbourne Rebels in the Super Rugby season-opener on Thursday.
The explosive 19-year-old, who made his All Blacks debut on their tour of Europe last November, grabbed an intercept try on the stroke of halftime and touched down twice after the break as the Blues racked up a record score in Australia.
Pauliasi Manu, Matt Duffie, Augustine Pulu and Melani Nanai also crossed for the visitors in the seven-try rout at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
The Blues were without co-captains Jerome Kaino and James Parsons, and their brilliant inside centre Sonny Bill Williams, but coach Tana Umaga would have been buoyed by the performance of his replacements.
The Rebels were also undermanned after a string of injuries in the lead-up, but they opened the match brightly with a try by captain Nic Stirzaker but the scrumhalf was ruled out of the match after a head-knock shortly after.
Flyhalf Jackson Garden-Bachop nosed the Rebels in front for a period with a 22nd minute try at the left corner after flanker Jordy Reid charged down a clearing kick from Ihaia West.
But Garden-Bachop missed three consecutive kicks off the tee to kill any momentum the Rebels had.
Tries for fullback Duffie and Ioane, who ran half the length of the field after intercepting a pass, put the Blues 25-15 up at the break and it was one-way traffic from there.
Ioane's second try in the 51st minute was breath-taking, as he feigned a pass out wide, punched through the Rebels' line at midfield and burned off three defenders on his way to scoring.
Akira Ioane set up the hat-trick try 12 minutes later, knocking the ball out of a ruck with his foot before flinging it out wide to his younger brother, who charged over in the corner.
MELBOURNE REBELS 18

Cons: Garden-Bachop.
Pens: Hodge 2.
AUCKLAND BLUES 56
