Since I didn't know who to draw next and made a poll in the anime art community and Ren from Elemental Gelade was the poll winner. Her colors were done in oil pastel as well as colored pencils and colored markers too.

She was raised with Nyx in Galahd where they used to play as children in the Galahd River. Nyx and Ren later ran a small bar in their hometown. The area used to be protected by the Wall, but thirty years ago war overtook the lands and the Wall crumbled, allowing Niflheim to claim Galahd. Ren fought in the local Resistance against imperial oppression, but her sister was killed. Ren and Nyx where saved by King Regis of Lucis. Seeking to repay the king with the aid of her brothers. When insomnia fell she took Regis body and took it to safety before returning to join her brother. Given her powers back she aid her brother. He died in her arms. Ren then buried the 2 in a secret location. But always has her brother weapons on her and took Regis crown to give to noctis. Now she seeks to give people better future. To finish what Nyx had started.

Another #cosplayvscharacter! This is an old cosplay though :P I made it in 2012 for Anime North and Otakuthon that year. Believe it or not making that cosplay was HARD! Why? I had one reference image, and it was of the back..... and the only screenshot I was able to get.... was a split second blurry image that showed the side of the character. I still need to make her normal outfit from the anime.
