i spent the last month enjoying elemental gelade/erementar gerad and i can say it is the most shounen rpg anime without being an rpg itself lol. cou and ren were alright but, i really loved cisqua, kuea, and rowen. they all have a very interesting dynamic and their love and dedication to help cou and ren was just wonderful. chefs kiss the 3 queerplatoniteers love you

i finished the anime and then the manga in one day. because i read the manga so fast it's hard to form an opinion but i liked parts of it, some i think the anime did more meaningfully. but LOL that manga ending huh?

also this was so fucking funny. me after 3 job interviews (fingers crossed)

I assume you mean where my artstyle comes from? If this is what you mean, i'd say it's mainly from these:

Mayumi Azuma (Erementar Gerad)

Spiderman comics (after Superior Spiderman, specially)

Kohei Horikoshi (My Hero Academia)

Granblue Fantasy. I'd argue this is the biggest one because I've been playing for 7+ years.

Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Naoki Urasawa (all good, but I specially love Monster and Billy Bat)

Rumiko Takahashi (all good, but favourites are Maison Ikkoku and Ranma 1/2)

Trigger Studio/GAINAX (specially the ones directed by Yoh Yoshinari and Hiroyuki Imaishi. My favourites are Little Witch Academia, Kill La Kill, Promare, FLCL, Panty & Stocking, Re:Cutie Honey, Evangelion, Kare Kano and Otaku no Video. Tengen Toppa is still incredible in terms of animation but some characters haven't aged well for me.)

CLAMP (all good, but my favourites are Card Captor Sakura and Tokyo Babylon)

Ai Yazawa (all good, but my favourites are Nana and Paradise Kiss)

Rurouni Kenshin. This was my favourite manga as a kid and I can't leave it out because it definitely shaped my style. However, for morals reasons, I cannot recommend this work. Feel free to google about the controversy.

Yuto Sano (Gokurakugai)

I also try to go to art exhibitions about any style, any theme and any artistic discipline at least twice a month. You don't have to spend a lot of money, I go to free or cheap ones myself. Mainly for motivation and mental health, but I'm sure I must learn something passively from diversifying.

The last ones I went to were Marc Chagall and Matteo Pugliese, and I loved both. I especially enjoy human sculpture because you can learn a lot of anatomy there.

Gem!Shinichi Au

Basically a Au inspired in series with Gem people (Steven universe, Erementar Gerad, Houseki no kuni, but mostly SU)

After stealing the "Blue Tomorrow Sapphire" Kid's life takes a turn, perhaps for the worse.

The revelation that Pandora is alive does not stop Kaito from wanting to destroy her, which leads him to have an antagonistic relationship with Shinichi, the Sapphire.

Even though I imagined it as Kaishin, this has very platonic vibes, haha

Welcome to anime! Soul Eater was one of my first ones too hehe. 

Erementar Gerad (8/10): Cloud is a rookie sky pirate when he suddenly stumbles across Ren a beautiful “Edel Reid” which is a group of magic people that can transform into weapons and grants power to the humans that wield them. She bonds to Cloud and together they go on an adventure to save the world. They must battle against many forces that want to separate them in order to gain Ren’s power and those that also want to destroy the world. Action, Adventure, Romance, Supernatural

Guilty Crown (8/10): The Apocalypse Virus sent Japan into ruin. From these ruins an organization that called themselves GHQ attempts to rebuild everything, but they have an evil purpose. In order to defend the people, a group of rebels known as Funeral Parlor plan to use their ultimate weapon the “Power of Kings” which is stored inside of Inori. However, Shuu (a random citizen) stumbles across Inori and ends up in possession of the “Power of Kings”. Together they must defeat GHQ and unlock the secrets behind the apocalypse virus. Noragami (10/10): This is the best recommendation on this list and the best follow up in my opinion! The anime consists of two seasons: the first is a fun and entertaining season that introduces you to the characters while still having enough action to keep you engaged. Meanwhile, the second season is an emotion rollercoaster of thrills, action, and emotion. A must watch for sure. This series tell the story of the God of Calamity, Yato, who has a problem with keeping a weapon partner. He’s a self proclaimed “delivery god” and helps with odd jobs. He can’t be seen by humans usually, but one day a girl named Hiyori sees him and thinks he’s going to be hit by a car. She rushes out and saves him from the car. Due to the accident her soul keeps slipping out of her body and she demands for him to fix her. With Hiyori by his side he soon finds a weapon partner that will tolerate him, and slowly finds a place where he belongs. Action, Adventure, Drama, Supernatural, Gods, Magical Powers, Spirits, Romance, Mystery

Owari No Seraph (10/10): Unlike the other entries on this list the weapon people are not friends of the protagonists. In this series the weapons are demons that the humans have to win over with the power of their wills and constantly keep them in check in order to use their powers to conquer the vampires. The plot of this show follows Mika and Yuu as they struggle to find their way back to each other after being separated when they were younger. Action, Adventure, Vampire, Supernatural, Thriller
