Boston, Mass – As the World embarks on a New Year full of promise and optimism, Boston, Mass M.C., Re$$ unleashes his new single “Pressure,” as a calm to the storm.  Considered the lead-off single to the upcoming mixtape, Up to No Good,  “Pressure” offers a strong metaphoric representation of the common struggle of dealing with stress and chaos in a World full of strife.  Since reciting the lyrics to Tupac’s classic tune, “California Love,” with his father in the first grade,  Re$$ knew it was his destiny to make music that would someday inspire a movement.  Well, folks let’s just say,’  when the stakes are high, adversity stares you in the eyes with a gateway of choices that carry results. Re$$ takes listeners on a familiar journey as he maneuvers through many of life’s obstacles in 3 verses.

So I ask you; Can you handle the “Pressure”?

The concept for the Up to No Good mixtape can be best described as an unlawful stripping of one’s innocence! Surreal in the context of the mixtape’s title, “Pressure” serves as the prelude to a project that promises to produce classics. Produced by Donny Beats, the track embraces a hypnotic trap beat that embodies the vision of the song to a “T”.  Recorded at  Cyber Sounds Studios under the direction of Engineer Aaron Mattes, the acoustics carry the narrative of storyboard made for a Stephen Spielberg thriller. On the surface, “Pressure” rides with the overtone of a ballerific player who finally makes pay dirt to the islands of caviar and imported cars! However, that couldn’t be further from the truth!

The project holds as a testimony of survival and perseverance throughout the bullshit!

The hook really says it all: “money in the duffle bag,” “This is the calm before the storm, I had to dance in the rain, learn to walk through the flames, lord ease all my pain” ~excerpts from “Pressure” @ress_muzik

The duffle bag holds symbolic to the eyes of the beholder; depends on where you’re at mentally.

Mr palto ek lékip bandé : un takon mercis 😘😘😘 L'ambiance fut au rendez-vous, le public présent : dyonisiens, do moune ailleurs, en famille, entre amis, petits et grands.. Bravo à l'ensemble des acteurs ! Aux artistes, bien entendu ey aussi à La Mairie de Saint Denis. En aparté on apprend que ces occasions de profiter de l'ambiance du "baraswa lo dimansh" invite à la participation : à tous, à eux, à nous de continuer à rester acteurs des "choses de La Cité".. Et exprimer notre "reunionnité". Et pourquoi pas la prochaine fois ramener un carry à partager ? Pour cette occasion du jour, je suis resté ébahi : du riz, songe, manioc, fruit à pain, rougail bilimbi, rougail zévis, saucisse pêté et morue.. Tout simplement EXCELLENT 🙏 Les gourmands se laisseront tenter par un chaï chaud au Massalé tout proche en before et par des pâtisseries arabes en after.. Tout ceci saupoudré d'ambiances musicales somptueuses.. décidément, ce week-end avait une saveur de vacances !
