HAPPY 4/13!

In honor of Homestuck's 7 year finale anniversary, I'm putting together a video looking at the appeal of Homestuck in retrospect, particularly early in the comic. Homestuck: Seven Years Later.

I gathered several friends and did interviews with them, and plan to release the video this Saturday, April 15th at about 4pm CST! I'll put it in the Homestuck tag proper, as well as under #hssyl, and it'll be on my new Youtube channel as well. I'm excited to share it with you!

Resin8 White December Sale Ends Tonight

I’ve been crafting a little this evening, making some resin items. I’ve topped up a pot mould that wasn’t quite full the other day, and I’ve poured resin into a heart trinket dish mould. I’m hoping to do a honeycomb pot and a puffy cloud dish as well tonight, but we’ll see if I manage that after I’ve eaten a very late dinner.

I get most of my resin supplies (resin, moulds, pigments etc) from Resin8UK, who are absolutely fantastic. They are always so helpful and have such great products. If you’re on IG or FB and in the UK, I recommend giving them a follow if you’re into resin, jesmonite, or clay making, because they really are brilliant.

I’m hoping to officially start my business this year. Currently I’m waiting for my craft room table to be put together and to get some other furniture for it. I then plan to organise all my craft stuff and get everything in set places so they’re easy to find and get to.

I also hope to decide on just a few things to sell to start with, and then see what sells I guess and then build up my product range. I’m thinking of crochet bees, crochet flower key rings, and resin heart trinket dishes. There’s a few other things I’m thinking as well, but I wanna start with a very small amount of things and build it up slowly I think.

The other thing I desperately need to sort out is packaging and postage stuff. Can’t exactly start and not have anything to send stuff out in.

Anyway, I just want to highlight the business that I’m getting all my resin stuff from: Resin8UK. They are absolutely fantastic and so helpful. They sell all things resin related, plus jesmonite and clay and related products! I’m not as aware of the clay items as I used mostly resin and jesmonite. I’m currently waiting for a different type of resin to arrive from a recent order and for my table to be up so I can test cast-it resin, jesmonite, and res2o one after the other and see which I prefer.

In other things, I also want to try and do some cross stitch patterns to sell too. I’d hopefully just sell these as a PDF pattern for people to download, and include the colour threads needed and how much of each one. There’s a few cross stitch patterns from @crossstitchworld that I downloaded a while ago that are brilliant as just the pattern with all the info you need!

So as a conclusion to this post, if you’re able to show some support to Resin8UK and @crossstitchworld please do!

Well, these set nice and quick! Totally in love with them. If I had to pick a favourite it would be the earrings 💕. First time using the Dome It resin from @resin8uk and it's pretty amazing 😍. While this was my first attempt at beastmilk jewellery I used skimmed milk, but I'll be stealing some breastmilk from my niece for my next attempt (totally not as weird as it sounds 😂). Hi! So I’m setting up another side blog to my main blog, but this one will be for my small business once I’ve set it up.

I intend to make and sell crocheted items, cross stitch patterns, possibly small cross stitches, resin and jesmonite makes, and possible some felt items too.

I know that sounds like a lot, and maybe a strange mix of things too, but I just love all these crafts so much and spend my time doing them, so I figured I may as well try and make a little money from them if I can!

I’m not set up yet, but feel free to give me a follow if you’d like to see my makes once I start selling. I will only me selling through IG and to UK residents, at least for the time being.

I’ll post more info on how I’ll be taking payments once I’ve started up, and if anyone wants to ask anything feel free to send me a message.

I’m just setting up this side blog in the meantime so I can maybe start getting a few followers.

Hope I can make some lovely things that people will want to buy, and I hope I can use this side blog just to share my creations regardless of whether or not people want to buy stuff. I just wanna share my things, even if all it does is inspire others :)
