  Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am thankful for Joanie and all my rescue cats. I have only had four cats from shelters and all the rest showed up, were part of TNR ( I only did the TN part) or adopted after their owner passed away. I love them all. Today is #RememberMeThursday, when we take a moment to remember all the pets who never got to see a loving home, and shine a light on all the orphaned pets still looking for one. I found Boo almost a year ago now. He came from Texas, where an overabundance of strays makes it hard for them to find a home down there. Boo is now a best friend, bringing life into my home and keeping Momo on his toes. Tell me about your rescue! Today is #RememberMeThursday which is a day celebrating rescue animals! Here are mine.

First one was my baby Dominoe that passed during 2020. He was scrawny and covered in fleas and ticks, but I loved him so much as soon as I saw him. Second one is Bobbie; my great grandfather rescued her from a shelter. When my grandfather passed, I decided to adopt her so she could stay with our family. She’s been a big help in getting me through the pan/dem/ic and the loss of my other dog. Remember to always adopt when you can!

#RememberMeThursday is an important day where we remind everyone about the importance of animal rescue and adoption (something very important to Chewie)! Only 30% of pets in US households come from rescue facilities. Each year, over 2.7 million orphan shelter pets lose their lives without finding their forever home. Chewie is a rescue dog, adopted from @chiquitachihuahuarescue a small non-profit rescue dedicated to saving small and senior dogs from high kill shelters. #tbt and #remembermethursday i will never forget the day i brought hippo home from @hwac a little over ten years ago. he was the best thing that has ever happened to me. we went on so many adventures and he helped me immensely with my depression and anxiety. i really haven't been the same since I lost him. but i remember all the amazing times we had together and I couldn't have been more blessed with companionship.
