'Relic and Ruin' is a fast-paced teen fantasy about Grim Reapers versus Necromancers, families caught in an age-old feud that is put on the shoulders of two teens. There's an almost out-of-control feeling to reading this, as the plot keeps layer on new ideas and new concepts almost before it's finished with the last twist, but it reads really quickly for all of that, and it's clearly enjoying itself. I don't know if it's _over_ by the end of the book, but if you want to watch two teens stab zombies with their ever-growing assortment of magical powers, this is a fun way to do it.
