"Macabre" is a horror/slasher short film project co-written and directed by horror Youtube personality Zack Cherry and acclaimed filmaker Erik Champney. With the help of executive producers Randy Borruso and Juan Herrera, they are planning to take their short film to several film festivals. They want to use the short film as the proof of concept for a feature film down the line.

The next stretch goal the minds behind "Macabre" are trying to reach is the $50,000 Ultra-Violence level where they will be able to hire a professional stunt coordinator to ensure the action scenes of the movie are safe, but also awesomely coordinated. It will also help pay for the fees and travel expenses associated with submitting and attending the film festivals. Help them make "Macabre" as amazing as possible. Pledge today!

"Macabre" has officially reached $41,000.00 raised, but they aren't stopping there. They have plenty of stretch goals as well. Currently, they are seeking to raise another $9,000 to pay for a professional stunt coordinator and for fees and travel associated with showing at film festivals.

In this clip, co-writer/director Zack Cherry gives a deeper explanation of the concept behind "Macabre" (@macabrethemovie) and offers insights into both the short film and his plans with co-writer/director Erik Champney along with their cast and crew to enter the film into film festivals and use the buzz around the short film to eventually make a feature length film. The short film stands alone, but it also serves as the opening to the feature film.

Many exciting perks are available for backers at several price points and tier levels. If you can't do or don't want to do a specific perk, you can also just donate to the campaign on that page as well.

All perks ship globally, although it might cost more for shipping outside the USA. Also, all perk levels come with a digital download of the film when it finishes at festivals and is released in early 2025. Think of it as paying ahead of time for the movie.

There will be lots of behind the scenes special features included with all digital downloads as well.

Coming back to instagram after a break...At Buffalo Wild Wings. I got the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich without Buffalo Sauce. Also a side of beer battered onion rings. It looks delicious.

I stood in line for 40 minutes, then spent around 10 minutes voting for the 2016 Presidential election in the USA. I live in Chicago, IL. When I got there at 9am, which was the first moment on the first day early voting started, one of their voting machines was down, and two of their card programing computers too. Plus people did not know how to shuffle forward when the line moved. What really struck me though was that the voter card programing woman was shocked that I actually had my voter ID card. I asked her if people usually brought theirs. She told me hardly anyone ever did, but that it is 3 times as fast to set up the electronic card for the voting machine if you have it. She actually thanked me for bringing it. She told me policy dictates that people are supposed to have them in order to vote, but that technically you can still vote with a State or Federal picture ID. I love voting, and feel so happy and proud to have done it for my 3rd Presidential election. I was 18 in 2008 and voted, I did again in 2012, and now in 2016. I also vote in local elections too. I am so happy that despite the problems in America, we can speak our truth via our vote (although the 2000 election was falsified and rigged to give us a false result, but that is in the past and I don't want to gripe). I hope that whatever the results of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and congressional elections, that progress and change are made, and that the devisiveness, the anger, and the hatred subside. I hope for the rise of a more loving, open-minded, and unified nation. Forces of the Universe Bless America and the world as a whole! Be well.
