Imagine Buttercup bringing a stowaway kitten home with him. Katniss initially reacts with the 'nope. No more pets. No kitten needed'.

But this cat just decides Katniss is hers now. As cats typically do. And as Katniss does, they become buddies and suddenly she now has two cats.

The most hilarious part about this is because Peeta gets along fairly well with Buttercup, they are cool together, Katniss tries to use him as an excuse to keep her. Problem? This kitten wants NOTHING to do with Peeta. Nothing. She's not hissy or aggressive but just absolutely avoids him, and reluctantly tolerates him at cuddle time.

Also Katniss is 100% convinced she is Buttercups daughter. She doesn't know how she knows but she just does.
