I love Amy's Choice and I love The Day of the Doctor Novelization, but something that only clicked for me recently — is that the reason the Eleventh Doctor is able to instantly recognize and brush past the Dream Lord when he appears — is because for as long as he's had this body, he's been hallucinating the War Doctor’s voice taunting him in a very similar way (minus all the jokes).
Similar like this:

Of course at the end of Amy's Choice, the Doctor sees the Dream Lord reflected in the console, looks distressed, and says nothing, and I just. I love how Moffat used that novelization to flesh out so many different elements he included in his run.

That's a pretty useful description of how chakra works, and not really one I see portrayed? Though tbf that could also just be the series retconning it.
But from Ebisu's explanation it looks like what Sakura's really outstanding at is building chakra (that is, mixing her spiritual and physical energies together in the right amount), since Sasuke and Naruto are inferior to her in that regard. Her chakra control (putting the correct amount of chakra into a jutsu) is perfect too, but so is Sasuke's, so that's not unique. Also, Naruto's issue is putting too little chakra into his jutsus, not too much, and what he has in abundance is stamina, not chakra, so he'd also be freakishly energetic at taijutsu.

I personally love the idea of Unicron being the creator of humanity, purely for the sheer thought of the Prime versions of the autobots and the Decepticon's reaction to the information and the possibility that dark energon may be beneficial to humans in some way because they're Unicron made.
To some it might make sense in hindsight, to others it would come as a complete surprise, and both to some degree would be disturbed by the implications, especially since in human religion there have been numerous accounts of being able to communicate with their gods and messengers across civilizations as recently as medieval times.
How they treat humans after knowing this information would be very interesting to see, especially the autobots who have been allied with them for such a long time.

𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐗. While I said I wouldn't because I already talked a bit about the Universitas Magistrorum in mentioning that this must've been the equivalent of Sumeru's Akademiya (while the Fontaine Research Institute would be also a good candidate for a parallel, I feel like its field is more limited than the Akademiya's), these past days I've been thinking about the fields of study of the Universitas Magistrorum, so here are a few I've considered:
✧ Astronomy → Judging by the notion that the twins' arrival was already foreseen by this art (most likely than not imported from other nations too such as Fontaine and Natlan) and its possible ties with the false sky and the Abyss, this must've been a relevant enough field that even the Almighty Sovereign was interested to do requests to.
✦ Engineering → A vast field in itself, from studying even more ancient machines of other civilizations to learn about their own and do better each time with automatons. This alongside the following Ley Line studies are more accurate parallels of the Fontaine Research Institute.
✧ Ley Lines → In order to know how to use their energy to sustain themselves until relatively recently (before the destruction), when the energy changed to the Abyss, they must've had to learn everything about them down to how to crystallize the elements. Another necessary field to subsist on the limited resources in the location Khaenri'ah was built.
✦ Alchemy → From which Khemia would be born and medicine would become relevant starting as a subcategory of this to its own field of study, which touched on the Abyss energy study in order to create vaccines and other means to palliate its toxic effects on the population.
✧ Humanities → As endless pursuers of knowledge both from the ancient past to their contemporary times, learning languages in order to understand the scriptures of ruins they would encounter was a necessity. When a good grasp of olden languages was achieved, this field included languages of the rest of Teyvat with the coming of outsiders and the first ideas of espionage manifested. Furthermore, this field in itself proved useful to those who came from outside Khaenri'ah to be more in tune with the kingdom's customs and learn the language better, as part of the process of learning a language is also being aware of the place's traditions.
✦ Abyss → A major field of study that would bleed into others like alchemy and astronomy, although limited solely on this mysterious realm. With the uprising of discontentment in the population due to the lingering obsessions and reckless acts of a few obnoxious ones that became a public hazard, this field was completely banned. It has remnants of influence in aforementioned fields of study where it's necessary for the advancement of the society.
Nevertheless, at the late king's approval, the Abyss as a field of study was banned only in the majority of the public's eye but in truth became a clandestine field of study with equal control to not be spotted by those who oppose its teachings. From that moment onward, the Abyss would join another forbidden field of study, amounting to a count of two:
✧ Abyss. ✦ Gods.

Regardless of the fact that this is an adaptation of my favourite book of all time, the fact that they've fucking nailed the sounds of the songs (so far) has me beyond impressed like obviously I expected the songs to be good but the level they have surpassed for me in terms of what I find enjoyable in music is just astounding. The universe has managed to intersect my favourite book with my fav style/genre/vibe of music and it's just !!! Regret Me and Honeycomb feel like they're laced with crack to my brain

Watching a friend play through Sonic Frontiers who's never played a Sonic game before and I'm genuinely happy that he, an FPS and action game nut, is really enjoying the game. Yes, it isn't perfect, but it's still a very fun experience. We're riffing to each other about how this game stacks up, and talking about the story beats every so often.
And then we get to That Part on Exposition Island.
So, after you deactivate the final tower on That Island, you get a cutscene where Sonic Fucking Dies. Actually. The music stops. He's Gone. One loading screen later and now he's back by The Power Of Friendship™ and he moves on like nothing ever happened. This is, by far, the biggest disappointment of the game's story, maybe even the game. They could have gone so much harder there. Tails says he's stuck between realities, so a portion of the game/the last island could have been him fighting like hell to break through it. Said friend added they should have made it like the fake-out ending in Control (2019), which Fuck. Yes. they should have. (Play Control (2019), by the way)
Now, I get it, it was most likely Sega saying You Can't Do That, with second likely they didn't have enough dev time to do anything with it. Just seeing other tumblr users brainstorm their own alternative How It Should Have Happened stories makes me yearn for how this could have been handled differently in the game. (getting Infinite flashbacks now are we, Levi?)
Yes, Sonic and Tails are my Autism Creatures, but let me tell you I want to see them go through deep emotional moments as well! It fills my soul. Throw them in the pear wiggler.
