His black eye is the natural one, and the red scarred one is a prosthetic! He can't see out of it, since there's really not enough space to do anything technical and fancy like that with the redstone (unlike with Doc's eye+faceplate which tbh is probably connected to his brain). It does, however, have a few little things he can do, like use it as a camera or a torch. So it's still a pretty neat redstone prosthetic.

proper PPE is reccommended for all redstone work, especially if you are tangotek, master of flinging his arms around forgetting he's holding a lit redstone torch.

getting a popcorn kernel stuck in your teeth. It's like an unintended bug of popcorn, that was never patched, because the size mattered more.

It's like Redstone quasi-connectivity in java edition , even tho is definitely a bug

I love how Etho has inherited Tango’s curse. With both Decked Out 2 and Ravager Rush:

Game with complicated redstone, elaborate decorations, great sound design, ravagers, and a score system culminating in a prize.

Took ages to build.

The Hermits love it! Your hard work has paid off. You can be proud of it.

The Hermits love it! All your time is now dedicated to bug-fixing, restocking supplies, adjusting features, and babysitting the game.

Is now a dedicated spot to hang out, parkour, and talk about random junk while waiting for the game to become available.

Runs eventually take an hour+ to achieve any significant score.

… but RR took Etho only a couple months to build and the Hermits 2 weeks to hack it. It’s like the speedrun version of DO2.

tango's new ep makes me feel like im watching an undergraduate engineer feverishly working in the library at 3am after chugging a 5 hour energy drink and snorting a line of crushed up caffeine pills. he's got the spirit of a frenetic cheetah running laps around its enclosure. im obsessed with him this is like studying a bug if the bug was hopped up on cocaine and committing acts of redstone hubris unforeseen by god himself

Had a sudden burst of I NEED TO CREATE and built it on a friend smp :3

im a big fan of Etho's "Googler" system so i wanted to figure out how it works myself (no tutorials or anything)

So, you know when you have to hold down the power button of a malfunctioning piece of technology?

That, but with any robot/cyborg etc. hermits.

Depending on how linked they are to the technology, it could be that a limb has to be shut down temporarily, or that their entire system (i.e. their brain functions) have to be rebooted.

This can be done as fluff or angst!

Tango is up too late working on his redstone contraptions? Well his good buddy Skizz is there to sneak behind him and hold down his power button to force him to take a nap already, jeez!

Iskall's eye has been bugging him, shorting out and all. He needs some help resetting it, so he gets a friend to hold it down and catch him when his brain reboots as well.

Etho has a panic attack during a repair session with Doc. He's gonna fry his systems if he can't calm down... Doc has no choice but to hold down his power button and reset him so he doesn't hurt himself further...

So many possibilities!

The first rule of computer troubleshooting, turning it off and back on again, applies to Hermits too. Having vision problems? Stuck in a spiral of bad thoughts? Just reboot!

Tango spent hours in the redstone guts of Hungry Hermits, battling bugs, reaching peak frustration—only for Gem to log on and join him, followed shortly by Etho. There was teasing, there was trolling; and then the visitors insisted on a playtest despite the bugs

And as Tango watched them scramble and panic and laugh; as the bugs appeared in full force but failed to stop the fun; as Gem screamed for Etho to let her out of the fridge already; as the two players found their rhythm and beat the second day—the old Dungeonmaster’s grin returned to Tango’s face

#why would you advocate for bugging scott at all considering his history getting harassed

Honestly I don't know anything about MCC and I don't know who Scott is and I know even less of any harasment he's recieved. Sorry I wrote a post because I was frustrated about how Tango had to defend himself saying no for 1½ hour without knowing the complicated history of MCC

(it's not the first time it happens either which probably added to my frustration and I shouldn't have let it out on tumblr but I also don't have any hermitcraft friends to rant about it to either so MY TUMBLRBLOG HAS TO SUFFER)

I did kinda assumed MCC is a team thing and not just a one-person thing because it's so big, that mistake's on me for not caring about sports. Sorry about that. But yeah even if it was a team I don't want anyone to get bugged/harrassed

Don't bug Scott, Don't bug Tango, Don't bug Iskall, Don't bug MCC, just don't bug anyone smh

As a community can we stop bugging the hermits that has expressed disinterest in MCC about participating in it and start bugging MCC about letting the hermits that has expressed interest in participating finally join in?
