The sweltering heat of Kalderon wasn't an unknown fact for this planet, ravaged by a desert wasteland and volcano's that occasionally erupted. However the hungry occupant of this planet wasn't a far distance either and that made his predicament even more troublesome. The helmet helps filter the air to make it easier for him to breath, his eyes slowly adjusting to the light as the visor keeps it from blinding him outright. Still, he's immobilized, his attempts reward him with the weight and noise one can attribute to chains. Which means he'd failed to escape. Dammit. He can see the quantrons running around, setting up what looks like a transmitter. Albeit his gaze looks over to the newest of Astronema's crew. It looked akin to a lion like in the documents he'd seen the other rangers gathered around in one of the hangers watching, he'd decided to look at one for himself in the simulation room. Though they usually had much more vibrant colors than the monster mere feet away from him, tugging tighter on the chains and hammering the nails further. Clearly realizing he was awake, he can see the bazooka they carry, along with what looks like metal decorating them. Perhaps a robotic type like a humanoid lion? Makes sense why he's been imprisoned on a dust bowl then. "Get that communication relay up! We'll use the ranger's fearless leader to draw them right into our trap!" The voice sure was like nails dragging across metal. Gritting his teeth as he attempts to struggle free once more no matter how futile. "You won't get away with this!" "But I have already Red Ranger! Just watch the show." He can still distantly hear the transmitter come to life, Astronema's voice clear as day making some type of comment, he's missing out on vital information with his sluggishness but the heat threatens to make him faint, it's a struggle to remain conscious. He wonders if when he'd been shot down from the galaxy glider that perhaps he'd suffered a head injury. It would make sense. He'd blacked out long before hitting the ground. "Rangers! I have good news for you, I know the whereabouts of your dear leader!"

Andros wanted nothing more than his attempt to kick the nail loose would instead hit the prideful boasting monster's ankle or foot. The quatrons swarming around him are no better given how close dual edged blades get, one pressed down near his neck to cease any further attempts of escape.

"Of course you can come attempt to rescue him before he becomes a snack for Clawhammer-" A loud bellowing gurgle of a roar makes his heart leap into his throat, he can see some panic descend over the quantrons but the monster remains resolute, albeit seeming a bit unsettled himself. Good. "-And he's quite famished." He can see the screen flicker out, before he grunts as the monster now turns its attention fully to him. "You'll regret this."

"We'll see about that."

Any headcanons for Andros?

Headcanons: Andros

-Humans on KO-435 have a few traits that Earthly humans don’t have. For instance, every human there has semi-bioluminescence within the follicles of their strands. In some cases it causes their hair to create frosted tips and highlight or to fully dye certain pieces of hair and stays as such even when they age, explains why Andros had his hairstyle along with Zhane having silver in his own hair. This is a bit of a reference to how Saiyans in Dragon Ball retain their hairstyle even up until the end of their lifespans.

-Andros has pursued a few acting gigs but mainly in horror due to his telekinesis. It allows for him to really have fun with certain scenes like possession or optical illusions.

-Andros’s hair used to be longer as he would allow for his former team to braid it, it actually gave off a rainbow spectrum glow due to the grid powers unifying from their synergy with him but after they were killed and when Zhane was placed into a coma he decided to cut it shorter. Nowadays he’s trying to get back into habit since Zhane is back and Karone is around but it’s still a little hard.

-He kinda gets hate from people for killing Zordon, despite the reasoning and being allowed to do it. During Forever Red Karone was on ship and had to threaten a few reds who were getting a little to close to Andros during an argument.

-The reason his power saber is drill themed is due to Andros’s motivation, he wanted to stop at nothing to get Karone back. A drill itself breaks through material without hesitation, even if it causes trouble for the things round them, could also associate this with his powers as he can focus his telekinesis into a single point to make black holes and energy, destructive but gets the job done when he wants to protect the things he loves.

-Andros loves breakcore and upbeat tempo music since it reminds him of flying through space, when Pinkpantheress came out he bought out all her albums.

-He hates split ends and will hold a person down until he fixes their hair.

Unawareness could be costly, he'd learned this early on back on KO-35, when he'd first joined the army's ranks and even now two years later after being chosen to be the Red Ranger. However he'd never once really explored the planet they defended so valiantly from Astronema and by default Dark Spectre. Upon the other's insistance that he experience all it had to offer, this was how he'd come along casual wear beyond what he already wore (gotta blend in right?). It was easy to hide his morpher, to make it appear like some type of watch. Albeit he'd been so focused on fidgeting with it, he'd collided with someone else! Grunting but remaining standing as he looks quickly. Uh- "Sorry. I wasn't paying attention." and swiftly follows it with offering a hand for them to get up.

Show based-a moment in which Virgil isn’t trying to kill Andros.

Virgil thought he had found a secluded area of the park. Currently he was sitting on a bench, awkwardly trying to doctor and bandage his arm with a first aid kid he’d swiped. In spite of the supposed circuits within, he had a very real wound on his shoulder.

“You’re doing it wrong.” That was Andros, who walked over from the side. His gaze and stance was somewhat cautious, but there was a slight tinge of concern in his eyes.

“What the-” Virgil glared over at Andros. “Get out of here before I destroy you. I’m not in the mood to deal with you right now.”

Andros folded his arms. “Isn’t your sole purpose to destroy me?”

Virgil glared at him before awkwardly trying to bandage his shoulder again. “Damn it!”

“I told you, you’re doing it wrong.” Andros walked over and took both bandages and antiseptic from him and sat down. “Just sit still.”

“I don’t need your help, ranger! I’m doing just fine by myself!” He tried to wrestle the items back, but Andros had actually managed a firm grip.

“You’ve been trying for the last half hour-I’ve been watching.” Andros’ lip twitched in laughter before he started tending to Virgil’s wound. “Now try to sit still for once, and try not to kill me till after it’s over.”

“Shut up you stupid-damn it!”

“Yeah, this stuff usually stings.” Andros didn’t sound at all sorry about that, though. “But hey, it’s probably no worse than getting blasted, right?” He sounded almost cheerful.

“Ranger, I swear to Dark Specter, when I get my hands on you-” Virgil started.

“So what’s stopping you?” Andros was about halfway through bandaging Virgil’s shoulder. “Even injured, you’re stronger than me. You probably could’ve killed me at least three times since this conversation started, but you haven’t yet.”

Virgil glared at him, then huffed. “Not in the mood.”

“You know, we don’t have to fight. We could be-”

“What, friends? With you?” Virgil snorted as Andros finished bandaging his shoulder. “Have you forgotten that your sister programmed me to destroy you?”

“My-how did you know about that?” Andros honestly hadn’t thought the psychos knew Astronema’s true identity-they were far more concerned with ranger destruction, after all.

“Ecliptor talks too much.” Virgil stood up, brushed himself off, and put his leather jacket, which he’d taken off temporarily, back on. “She just can’t program us to get along.”

“Get along...did Psycho Black do that to you?” Andros’ face softened slightly. “You can’t just-”

“Time for me to go, ranger. I suppose I’ll just say I didn’t find you today. Or that you tricked me. Either way, I’ll let you live.”

“You know, a thank you would suffice.”

“Not a chance.” Virgil gave Andros a final smirk before zooming off.
