Soo,, I've been watching some of the witch's castle lore (thank you Royal Mike) and I just can't get this idea outta my mind..

The First Counsel of Everything AU

(In this AU, Witch's Castle came before Kingdom, and the gingercrew are basically stuck in a cycle of being rebaked as normal cookies until the counsel is needed again.)

Gingerbrave - The Happy Emperor of Shadows.

The ruler of all shadow and darkness! Even if some of his recent subjects may not know it, though the oldest shadows that knew his rule definitely hope for his return again! With such a smile and kind personality, he made the shadows and darkness just as safe of a place that the light was, such a contrast to what it sadly is today. Debatably the leader of the counsel.

Strawberry Cookie - Queen of Imagination.

The shy ruler of all creativity, imagination, and dreams. Beloved by her subjects in the land of dreams, as she herself understands the love and care that goes into every art, even the ones baked up in the mind! Her thoughts can blend and bleed into the world by portals, making her a power house among the counsel. What she reigns over may never be in danger, but she will always spring back in to aid her friends and counsel!

Wizard Cookie - High Wizard of Insight.

No doubt deserving of his title, this High Wizard is the head of all magic, magical beings, and the smarts, too. He never seems to get a spell wrong, nor forget a face! The ones who follow his teachings can't deny that he's fit for the head of all magic. After all, what's a better fit than the one who got magic into every cookies' hands and books! His return is expected, as magic is in everything these days, and he is undeniably the brain of the counsel.

Gingerbright - Empress of Harmony.

The empress of all connections and harmony! All who can live in peace and friendship or thrive in their life with a bond, those are her subjects. Spirits and ghosts await her return, waiting for the cheerful giggles and unhinged sneers of command to lead them and the ones without leaders to whatever or wherever she will go. She is as kind, clever, and sweet as she is as threatening, and all who made an enemy of her sweat and tremble at the thought of her return. She seeks fun and adventure, and with her unity and harmony under soon threat, she no doubt will be with the rest of the counsel to stop the overflowing havoc to come.

Gingerdozer - Soft Emperor of Light.

Appearing the least, but no less one of the most vital, this is the ruler of light and divine. Few of his subjects know of him, but he is loved by those of his subjects who do. The boy's smile was said to have been able to bring light to a dark room and hope to the hopeless. The unity between light and dark came from his bond with his brother, and he kept the light in balance with the shadows. With how his divine light has changed for the worst, he is bound to wake and return the sharp, overwhelming light back to a soft, warm glow. Just as the counsel's second in command should!

After Pure Vanilla Cookie's Death Hollyberry was sad and heartbroken of her friend's death She kept drinking berry juice and then Pitaya Dragon Cookie burned her kingdom and alongside with her family expect Princess Cookie. After she died She was reincarnated into Golden Phoenix Cookie the Greedy and powerful Queen of the Richest kingdom just like in her past life. Before she died She let her freshly-baked daughter Phoenix Cheese cookie under the care of her cheesebirds and Smoked Cheese Cookie.

So vanilla orchid is apart of a au I’ve been in the works for a while, I’m still thinking of a name for it but heres what i have right now, so when the dark flour war happened, due to a mass amount of magic and dark magic being at use in the same place, a big explosion thing happened that killed everyone, so now, my oc Black Light Cookie (who shall be revealed soon) took the remains of the soul jams, ancients, and the beasts, and decided remake them (for her own weird little reasons) so by a lotta life powder, magic mixing, and trying not to mess up, she eventually made, of what I’m calling the Rebakes, and Black Light raised the Rebakes and made sure they could control their powers

Yes, when they’re rebaked they are twins (before that, they have no blood relation)

It happened due to multiple jars being present, and both being poorly labeled, which resulted in them both being baked, and becoming twins!

WaIt wdym? So how tall is stormbringer?

You see, the legends are more or less Minor Deities in this Au. So their size just depends on which Cookie serves under who.

For instance, Stormbringer Cookie and the other Deity Cookies were created mostly under the influence of Wizard, who has dominion over the weather. However, Wizard made them smaller than some Legendaries because they were made for practical jobs like providing cookies rain and wind.

Sea Fairy and Moonlight Cookie are created under the influence of GingerDozer who represents the endless eternity of Night, Death and has dominion over the Sea. To achieve this both Sea Fairy and Moonlight Cookie are giants their height slightly in-between the height of a god and the height of a beast Cookie. Their size is actually because like how GingerDozer is sometimes mistaken for the night sky, they form as the embodiment of their domain.

Frost Queen was a Cookie-turned legend, rewarded by Wizard, Gingerbrave and Gingerdozer to be ‘rebaked’ so to speak and continue the cycle of life. However since she was a cookie she’s still a regular cookie size.

Black Pearl can canonically change size so that’s not a problem.

Wind Archer Cookie and Fire Spirit Cookie have incredibly vague backstories? But in the context of this AU they can change size.

Millennial Tree himself is made by Gingerbrave whose body is the whole millennial tree and his spirit form only the cookie form. (In this AU) he uses it to communicate with other cookies so he can change size Ig?

Dark Enchantress Cookie…well…she stays the same size considering her backstory in this AU is different.

So an interesting dilemma I’m in, do I make matcha dark enchantres’s kid like what I think is implied in kingdom or keep my sibling idea because I’m a stubborn mf

…hm ok better question im going to explain my scenario and do a poll for fun, I know what I like but feedback is nice.

So here’s how matcha was born in my au-

Matcha was created by the witches in an attempt to replicate dark enchantress, but was deemed a failure, likely undercooked or crumbling she was left to die until dark enchantress found her. Dark enchantress, deciding this could be an opportunity took her in and (maybe with butter roll’s help? Idk) rebaked her, supplementing some missing ingredients with her own dough, as well as adding extract of marshmallow fluffs oven magic because she wants to experiment with ways of allowing a cookie to cast this magic, and another cookie baked by witches is as good a chance as any. However matcha was always missing that one ingredient, and when rebaked we got the matcha we all know in love… with added off brand oven magic because I wanna give her a cool thing as a treat.

So uh would DE be closer to a parent or sibling in that sense?

So I was thinking of another swap au thing where the villains are good and vice versa for Cookie Run, like I did before with Dark Cacao and Dark Choco and the Licorice Sea, since while I like that one, I admit the scope of “swapping” is very limited, since for all intents and purposes, the two were the same as their originals, just something happened to Dark Cacao. And I suppose that Dark Enchantress and her group were more benevolent. (Although now that I think back, I think I may have intended it to be this was one difference in this world and not the only one, but whatever)

But anyways yeah, I had another idea this morning and I wanted to share

Okay, so basically here, I’m focusing on the Ancients and their Soul Jams, as the big difference here is that the Soul Jams Are corrupting the Ancients. But also like, they don’t know it’s corrupting them. Like, when they first started out on their journeys together, they were still largely the same as the originals, but after finding the Soul Jams, they became corrupted over time by them, each vying for the other Soul Jams and for more power, while also becoming crueler and their negative traits being increasingly amplified. They eventually started waging all out war on each other’s kingdoms, not resting until they had the other Soul Jams, leading Earthbread into chaos

White Lily didn’t have a kingdom and she largely stayed out of the conflict as an opposing force (rather planning on taking them from the others when the dust settles and they’re all weakened), but still continued her experiments with Cookies and learning the purpose of their creation. She still goes to the Witch’s Banquet and gets rebaked, but here, her rebaking disconnects her from her Soul Jam, freeing her mind from its influence. Afterwards, she realizes that she and her old friends were basically being manipulated by the gems, and her quest to obtain their Soul Jams is now about destroying them and ridding the other Ancients of their influence, in hopes of possibly saving them. The Dark Flour War is more her intervening in the conflict to stop them all.

Unfortunately, her efforts are only partially successful. She was able to shatter the Soul Jams and keep them out of the Ancients’ hands, and her efforts led to relative peace in Earthbread, as the others were also weakened without them and couldn’t continue their wars, but they were still under the influence of the Soul Jams (though perhaps lessened somewhat), and it’d only be a matter of time until they’re reassembled once more, and now she was imprisoned and unable to do anything outside of trying to guide her followers, both in their attempts to better Earthbread and to free her

Dark Enchantress probably isn’t called “Dark Enchantress”, given her new heroic role, but I haven’t figured out what other than “Light Enchantress”, but I feel like that sounds kind of silly

I feel like this swap has the potential to massively change other characters, considering the fact that the main characters in question have long lasting impacts on the rest of Earthbread, but I haven’t exactly figured out how other characters are changed in this au, only White Lily/Dark Enchantress

I’m also not sure how the kids of the Ancients would be different, since while their parents are horrible versions of themselves, I’m not sure if they’d be like, cruel parents now or something, or how their different influences might change them growing up. Like, maybe some follow in their parent’s footsteps, but others see it as wrong and rebel, I’m just not really sure

The only thing I really have is that I imagine Pure Vanilla to be a straight up “holier than thou” sort of character, where he still acts like a benevolent, saintly ruler, but he’s incredibly hypocritical and looks down on pretty much everyone, most of all his former friends, seeing himself as above all their petty conflicts, despite also waging war on them

Edit: oh wait, another idea, this time for Pomegranate Cookie. So basically she was the priestess for the Pomegranate Village, but instead of turning to darkness and destroying her village, since Dark Enchantress is more a benevolent force here, she simply left the village to join her side so that they might be able to save Earthbread. The high priestess we meet in game is just the person put as her replacement for the time being since she’s out helping the Enchantress. And also they don’t hate her because of this, since there’s not much to really hate

But yeah, hope you think this sounds interesting to you, I thought it was a neat idea
