Chinese smartphone company Realme will be releasing two new phones in India. The Realme X3 and Realme X3 Superzoom. The company has revealed that the launch of the devices will happen on 25 June. The announcement was made on Twitter.

Realme X3 series: Specifications, features, expected price

"The X you are waiting for is here! We are not only bringing you 60X Super Zoom but also bringing Super Speed with our new flagship #realmeX3 and #realmeX3SuperZoom. Unveiling on 25 June at 12:30PM," tweeted Madhav Sheth, Vice President, Realme and CEO, Realme India .

The Realme X3 series will launch online at 12:30 noon on June 25. The event will be accessible through Realme’s official Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts.

Realme X3 Super Zoom with 5x optical zoom and 120Hz display was launched in Europe last month at 499 euros (Roughly ₹42,740).

It is backed by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging, runs Realme Ui based on Android 10, and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme X3 Super Zoom in Europe features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device sports a quad-rear camera setup carrying a primary 64MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens, another 8MP periscope-style lens setup for 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom, and a 2MP macro lens.

Realme C11 launched with Helio G35 and 5000mAh battery

Realme is maintaining quite a pace for launching smartphones recently. The Oppo’s sub-brand has released yet another phone lately – Realme C11. This new handset is placed as an entry-level position with mediocre specs and favorable price. It’s good for those who need a smartphone for basic purposes and stays alive for long. Here’s what it got within;

Realme C11 Specifications

Starting with the display, Realme C11 has a 6.5″ LCD with 720 × 1560p resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s got a water-drop notch to house the front camera and thick bezels at the chin. Under the hood, it’s having MediaTek’s Helio G35 CPU, which is an octa-core processor and comes with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Surprisingly, it will come with the latest Android 10 based Realme’s native UI 1.0 on top.

It has 2GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage, which is of eMMC 5.1. This handset has a square camera module at rear, which has dual-lens as 13-megapixel (f/2.2) as the primary sensor and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) lens as a depth sensor.

Upfront, there’s a single 5-megapixel (f/2.4) lens for selfies. Finally, it’s got a huge 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.

Talking about connectivities, it has Bluetooth 5, WiFi, GPS, VoLTE, micro USB 2.0 and an audio jack. Realme ditches fingerprint sensor here, but still, have a face unlock mode besides general passwords and pattern locks.

Realme C11 Pricing and Availability

Realme C11 is available in two color variants as Rich Green and Rich Grey and is priced at Rs. 7,499 for its sole storage variant, 2GB + 32GB. This handset is initially launched in Malaysia last month and now makes into the Indian market.

It’s available in flash sale on Realme’s website and Flipkart on July 22nd, noon, and will come to Realme offline stores later on. On a final note, it’s good for those who are newly entering the smartphone phase, and need it for basic purposes and stands powered for long.

Week 26 in review: iOS 14 and Realme X3 official, OnePlus Nord/Z teasing begins

This week Apple kicked off its online-only WWDC by detailing the new iOS 14, iPadOS, tvOS, WatchOS and macOS Big Sur.

Apple’s iPhone will get home screen widgets, an app drawer of sorts, called App Library, picture-in-picture and new smaller versions of apps, called App Clips, and much more this fall.

Apple also promised to show its first ARM-based Macs by the end of the year, though it said it isn’t going to stop working with Intel.

We also saw dummies of Apple’s rumored iPhone 12 trio. The new design is flat and squarish, reminiscent of the iPhone 5 and 5s of old. The rear has a flat design with the a triple camera setup identical to current iPhones.

The Realme X3 became official. It brings a Snapdragon 855+, dual-selfie camera, 64MP main camera and a 120Hz IPS LCD, but lacks the X3 SuperZoom’s periscope telephoto camera. The Realme X3 will be available in blue and white colors and starts at INR 24,999 (330$). It will go on sale on June 30 with pre-orders on June 25.

OnePlus released the first teasers for its upcoming smartphone codenamed OnePlus Nord. It will arrive in July to India and Europe with a dual selfie camera and a more affordable price tag than OnePlus’ current phones.

Also touted for a July arrival is the Asus ROG Phone 3 and Motorola Edge Lite, while the vivo X50 Pro is going global next month as well.

The chip is expected to be officially announced around the end of this year, the first phones with it will come early next year.

This move was rumored a lot, and a long time coming.

A couple of days ago Realme announced that it will unveil eight new products on May 25 in China, with one of them being a gamer-centric smartphone dubbed Realme X50 Pro Player (Edition). Realme's Indian branch announced that it will unveil the company's first smartwatch and smart TV on May 25, called Realme Watch and Realme TV, respectively. The launch event will start at 12:30PM local time (7AM UTC) and will be streamed on Realme's official Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels. Realme hasn't divulged any specifications of the Realme TV and Realme Watch yet, but the company did release a teaser video yesterday confirming the black color option for the smartwatch and an image posted on the official Indian site reveals it has a button on the right side with a yellow accent.
