Addicted to ghost raz

Question: How would lili and the agents react, should they somehow escape, to raz's death? I take it none of them would react well?

Sasha at Furst would deny that Raz didn't make it out and he'd start frantically searching the jet for him while Oleander would be having a moment of silence.

Milla would be calm but freaking out internally as she mentally searched for him hoping it wasn't too late,

and Lili ... she almost set the whole jet on fire out of anger and grief but Milla calmed her down.

((you can expect more from this au I'm most likely going to make an ask blog for it :) also every good question I was going to make drawings for it but I don't have that much energy lol sorry)

So at one point I got curious and did research to see if there were any bat species that were monogamous, and it turns out there are several species, one of which is the spectral bat, aka, a great false vampire bat, a carnivorous species that preys rodents, birds, and other bats

And supposedly, the males have been known to wrap their wings around their pups and mate and are only 1 of 2 species where they engage in parental care alongside the female

So having found this out, I couldn't help but imagine vampire! Sasha wrapping his wings around Milla and/or Raz if they're near him because aloof as he may appear to be, he instinctually cares for them and sometimes said instincts can lead to the awkward but wholesome situation of holding your lover and the boy you insta-adopted in your wings except you're all hanging upside down and you're embarrassed because you secretlt can't help but want to keep them there

[Raz] I think Lili and I are going to do something simple: dress up like mom and dad. Lili as Sasha and me as mom.

The water monster

The water monster is a water based monster that appears to Augustus he is symbolized Augustus fear of water and the curse that was placed on his family

this humanoid beings are armless faceless creatures that rome the town of silent hill they symbolize raz’s fear of drowning and water and his fear of losing control

he symbolizes the guilt each character has he has both blood and water on his clothes

the flame children are symbolic of milla’s nightmares of losing the children she cared for and her guilt

the stained glass monster is symbolic of the grief Sasha feels over his mother’s death

Psychonauts, only it's Skyrim

Because my brain has to make a Skyrim AU out of everything, eventually.  It is as inevitable as the heat death of the universe, i swear.

Raz

Little altmer (high elf) boy that specializes in conjuration, illusions, and destructive magic.  

He was part of a family of bards that, yes, would occasionally partake in feats of juggling and acrobatics to keep captive audiences across Skyrim.  

His parents cracked down pretty hard on magic, given the Nords’ hatred of magic and magic users, so Raz here decided to run off to the College of Winterhold where a certain order of mages were said to conduct research, explore and exalt magic rather than try to stifle it away.  

Has had many fun adventures of Trying Not to Die in the wilderness and holding his own against bandit attacks.  

Very friendly and well-meaning kid, though.  Offers to help out people he meets on the road, which is how he earns the coin to get by from town to town, though he draws the line at killing. 

Will typically just set a bandit’s stuff on fire before making a quick getaway. 

Incidentally, and not at all in relation to the above bullet point, is good at hiding.

Has picked up a LOT of books on his journey across Skyrim.  Knows more about the College and about magic than is probably remotely healthy for a boy his age.

No, really.  He will ramble at you about Daedra, rune stones, and hey have you ever done any reading on Ayleid wells and Welkynd stones?? 

Doesn’t really take any sides in the war, mainly because he doesn’t understand a whole lot about what’s going on.  No politics, only vibes. 

Often conjures and talks with his wolf familiar that he has named Ghost Paw.

Shut up, it is too a cool name.

Sasha 

A Breton hailing from Camlorn of High Rock, who had some higher aspirations than running his father’s farm after his mother unfortunately passed.  His relationship with his father is... a bit up in the air.  Most don’t ask about it. 

His boundless curiosity about magic has led him to studying various forms of it as well as relics and ruins across various parts of Tamriel, including High Rock, Morrowind and even the Summerset Isles.

Then a courier found him, with a message from a pair of highly esteemed mages named Ford and Truman of Skyrim.

Curious, Sasha of course came to Skyrim and made himself right at home in the College of Winterhold.

Conducts research and experiments for the College, and happens to be one of the most highly esteemed alchemists in the province.

Although his destructive magical marksmanship is pretty scary, as you can imagine.  

Said to have some shady history as a super-spy for the Empire in the past, but who knows if there’s any truth to those rumors (most of the students at the college are too afraid to ask). 

His lessons at the college usually consist of getting volunteers for a few experiments that okay, sure, maybe they don’t have the full approval of the Archmage, but extra credit to the brave enough soul to try out these new compounds.  Everyone likes extra credit, right?

But even if sometimes his research is a little... questionable, his heart is in the right place.  He wants to bring an understanding of magic to Skyrim, and not just for the sake of a prospective cultural shift (i.e getting the Nords to get a grip about magic).  He wants to bring enlightenment and reason to those who seek it. 

He himself also wants to gain a more enlightened understanding of magic.  Because SCIENCE. 

His stance on the war is pretty ambivalent, to be honest.  He doesn’t really care for the Nords who go out of their way to make others’ lives more difficult, but he cares more about his experiments and research than he does about politics.

Often smokes from a little wooden pipe that, yes, he levitates with magic because why not.  

Happened to be out doing fieldwork to gather supplies for an experiment when he came upon a certain elf-boy who got himself trapped between a pair of saber cats.  Because good job, Raz.

Casting a few lightning bolts sent the cats scattering, but uh... little elf boy was pretty roughed up.

....Okay.  Not sure how I’m gonna explain this one to the Archmage, but you’re coming with me, strange little elf child. 

Milla 

 A Bosmer (wood elf) who hails originally from Greenheart of Valenwood.  While her large family was content to stay in Valenwood, Milla wanted to see more of Tamriel and expand her horizons.  Very adventurous spirit, this one!

Originally wanted to see the Bards’ College in Solitude, but enough time across the border of Skyrim had her seeing a lot of anti-elf sentiment across the region.

A bit disheartened by that, she headed farther north, only to see a group of bandits descending on a certain Breton who had ventured far out into the wilderness in search of alchemy compounds.

While the Breton could hold his own fairly well, still, Milla couldn’t quite resist stepping in with some illusory magic that turned the fight quite sharply in the alchemist’s favor.  She couldn’t resist coming to his aid with some healing magic, either.  And she managed this seemingly without even a serious tap into her magicka. 

This mysterious Breton was deeply impressed by her capabilities, and introduced himself as Sasha of the College of Winterhold.

“Winterhold?  That’s quite a way off from here, isn’t it, darling?”

“Is it...?  Hm.  I suppose I should consult my map and see just how far I’ve wandered off this time.”

Turns out he’d wandered... pretty far, but eh, it was for science.  So the two traveled together for some time, doing side-quests and fighting evil mages alike across the breadth of the region before returning to the college together.  They built up quite a reputation for themselves in their travels!  

Close partners ever since, as I’m sure you’ve guessed.   

Also happens to be highly esteemed at the college for her abilities with levitation, restoration and illusions.  

She’s as gentle and loving with the students as you’d expect.  She basically ensures that no one dies in their magical studies, and offers heals and encouragement.

Has some extremely Bad Blood with Grelod the Kind, in Riften.  She was ready to Thunderbolt a table when she heard about how she was treating those orphans.  She tried reasoning with Grelod, but of course, the conversation turned a bit violent (on Grelod’s end).

Let’s just say Milla played a role in getting Grelod the Kind to step down and leave it at that.  8) 

Milla isn’t particularly a fan of violence, but will fight tooth and nail when it comes to protecting children.  You mess with kids, you about to get messed up.

Was reading the vodello au fics and now I kind of want to get a glimpse into the lives of the aquatos before raz was rediscovered. I imagine for tala and Queepie, the only frame of reference would be hearing their mother warning " stay away from the water, unless you want to end up like your brother Rasputin". Heck seeing Nona look at the rocks bloodstained and suddenly she has a short memory of her sister floating in the water.

Perhaps in her final moments she expects to see her sister, holding and comforting her grandson.

You know, you raise a good point. There should some sort of 'prequel' story before the Aquatos found Raz again.

I might write that oneshot, after I put some thought into it.

Psychonauts: ᴛʜᴇ ᴍɪɴᴅʙʟᴏᴄᴋ [AU]

This Au mostly focus on mental health, addiction, panic attacks, PTSD, anxiety and delusions. Read/Interact at your own terms.

★ Jesse Aquato is basically an adopted older brother to Raz and has a close bond with him after learning that they are both psychic and adore True Psychic Tales. While they do have different favorite characters and different options on the Psychonauts, they respect each other highly.

★ Jesse didn’t really want to be involved with the acts 24/7 but instead became the ringleader and kept tabs on the management. It was much easier than having to be forced to commit some reckless acts.       - They’re still flexible.

★ Jesse still has Reuben and even brought him along during Psychonauts 1/2. With Agent Vodello’s help, Rueben is now classified as an emotional support animal.

★ Their specialty is antikemenokinesis—nosokinesis. While they are able to create stuff in reality, it’s very difficult for them to create things like gold and air crafts. Depends on the value and material, depending on the difficulty.

★ They developed PTSD during their childhood after being corrupted by a known psychic illness known as the withering. The hallucinations and the endless fear of forgetting everything around them as they withered away were too much for them.

We'll do some trick 'r treating - never too old for that -, have a Horror Movie Marathon - nothing too much, I think we'll be binging the entire 5 Underworld movies in a row. What else ...? (Is too busy thinking that he doesn't notice a vine wrapping around his ankle.) Uh, what that around my - WAGH! Oomph. (Currently hanging upside down by his feet at eye level of the person who caught him.) Very funny, Lili.

[Lili] And hi to you too, Mr. 'Superspy'. (Giggles) Gotcha!

[Raz] Okay, okay, you've got me. (Dangling from side to side, arms crossed but otherwise unbothered nor surprised) So ...what now, 'Miss Ivy'?

[Lili] I've got some ideas ...(Seductively getting closer) But I've always been more of a Spider-Man fan anyway. (Gently holds his head between her hands) Big fan of that one scene in the first movie.

[Raz] (Gulps)

[Lili] Face it, Tiger, you hit the-

(The door to Razputin's office flies open and Norma walks in, distracted by the papers in her hands)

[Raz] Agent Vodello, I got some things you need t- (looks up) (Grins after a second of surprise) I see you're busy, I'll be back later. Hi, Lili. (fishing something out her pockets)

[Lili] Hi, Norma.

[Raz] (Blushing hard) (Struggling to try to get himself loose) Norma, I know that look! Don't you dare!

[Norma] (Snaps picture with her phone) Frazie is gonna love this. (Pretends she didn't hear him) Hmm, did you say someting, maninho? Anyway, I'll leave you two lovebirds to it. (Leaves)

[Raz] Norma? NORMA? (Grunts) Lili, get me down from he- OOMPH! (falls on the ground in a crumpled heap) (Groans) A bit gentler would've been nice. (Scrambles up and dusts himself off)

[Lili] Well, something in your tone suggested you'd wanted it done 'quick' instead 'careful'.

[Raz] You-

[Lili] (Checks her phone) And Norma posted it on the group chat. Hey, I look great in that skirt.

[Raz] (Blushes) (Runs out of his office) NORMA!

[Lili] (Giggles) (Lets out a huff) Too bad we got interrupted. I was about to go full seductress on him. Meh, next time, then.
