Rayman Heroes! (Character lineup)

Rayman Heroes is an Adventure-Comedy that takes place in an alternate universe of the Rayman series taking inspiration from other series like the Rabbid series, and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix.

It focuses on Rayman and his teammates working as Heroes-for-Hire in the metropolis city of Eden in the Glade of Dreams. They deal with looking for work as heroes as well as handle any issues in the glade whether it’s dealing with rabbids, fighting monsters, or worrying threats from mysterious dimensions.

This is my original character Rat Man stealing the magic orb from the prophets of "The Life In The World to Come".

Mr.Dunne is a cyborg because I love robots and the Real Will Wood Poster looks dope so I referenced the green lighting from it. The irradiated goop coming out of his mouth is something I don't have any explanation for other than it looks cool and spooky.

I made Mr.Wood a sort of ghoul creature because I thought it would fit his litwtc art and character lol. While I was rendering the glowing effects i thought it would be funny if Mr.Wood was hypnotized by the orb so he is kind of mind controlled by the "crystal meth ball", which makes sense for him being a prophet that looks into the ball so that he can see the future. Basically it speaks to him.

This is just a goofy little drawing I had lots and lots of fun making and isn't really a reference to anything on the podcast aside from the crystal meth ball joke haha I'm just practicing my skillz and I always get more inspired when drawing weird shit that gets out of control very fast 😅 Anyway- I do really love how it turned out and I feel like I grew alot as an artist and can finally start picturing how I want to draw my graphic novel!!! The forced perspective in this pushed me out of my comfort zone and I had to learn what process worked for me when illustrating characters in action and how they relate to eachother! I have lots of Computer Aided Design experience and I realized I could utilize my blueprint making skills into this without actually having to make a 3d model cuz that shit is balls and I am not a 3d modeler nor do I wanna be one ever... Also the "noise airbrush" is my best friend i used it for all of the non cell-shaded, non cross hatched areas and it gave a very realism otherworldly feeling to the table and chairs and also gave a needed depth to the figures. A while ago, I decided for myself that I'd return to the Fandom at some point. I just didn't know when. 😭

After a long time of thinking, I've decided for myself to just stop thinking about it too much and go for it. So I'd like to introduce to you my two Rayman fan characters, Arvid and Kalani! I'll post a proper colored reference of the two I've made a long time ago very soon.💕

But otherwise... yeah! I am back! I'll see how I'll handle it, but I'll likely just enjoy my time posting artworks and stories about them.

It's a good way to switch up and occasionally recharge energy from drawing my usual OCs so much.���️
