Stardust and The Crow ch 154

Crow left Seighdra sleeping in bed, so he decided to play with the twins before their nap.

“Herewa dadda” Ravenna said handing her daddy a plastic teacup.

Crow graciously took it a pretended to drink the fake tea.  “Why thank you sweetie.” He beamed at her bright little smile.

“Dadda, koowkie.”  Corvidae shoved a plastic cookie in Crow’s face.  Crow pretended to eat the plastic cookie too.  “ooh wike?”  Corvidae smiled.

“Mmmm good.”

Éowyn walked into the kid’s playroom holding a tray of spritz cookies and tea.  “Here, Crow, thought that this might work better" she laughed.

“Thanks, Éowyn.  Much appreciated.”

When Corvidae and Ravenna saw the tray of real cookies, they were overjoyed.  Ravenna began to jump up and down and looked at her twin and spoke in their hidden language – one only the twins knew.  Corvidae answered her back as he handed his twin a cookie.

Crow watched on in amazement then he noticed a few of their plushies, that were seated at their little table, began to move and lift in the air.

“Corvidae, stop please.”

Corvidae looked at his dad then at the plushies suspended in air.  His eyes were wide, confusion escaped in words.  “Not me dadda.  Wavie.”
