Something I finished on the day that the Rise Trailer dropped.

Wanted to do a redraw of the “poster shot” and added Scarlett and Violet into the mix.

After seeing the Rottmnt Trailer, I imagined what an older set of Scarlett and Violet would look like.

Scarlett and Violet knew of the Kraang from their species’ history, as they were the ones to create the Changelings darkest enemies, The Darklings. Changelings have a unique ability to prevent the Kraang from taking over their bodies (due to their shape shifting abilities.)

Scarlett’s powers make her a formidable foe, but she spends most of her time using her powers for defensive purposes. Violet can also use her powers defensively.

Unfortunately, from why I see of the trailer, it looks like Raph and Donnie perished in the future. My possible story is that Violet and Scarlett both escaped at the urging of their significant others and saw them perish. Violet inherited Donnie’s tech to use. I’ll nail down more of this when I see the movie.

Young Adult AU

I’ve had the idea for an aged up AU for a while with the turtles. I’ve always been a sucker for long term relationships and it’s not different with my OCs.

In This AU, It’s been 4 years since the events of the finale. Scarlett (20) has fully taken over her fathers dojo, making it a successful self defense center. She and Raph (19) are celebrating 4 years together and have become a well oiled machine for missions and fights.

Violet (18) is a ballerina for a dance studio in New York. She is also a college for programming and coding. Her and Donnie (18) have been together for 3.5 years. Donnie has become an academic through Scarlett’s resources via an online university, working on multiple majors in science and engineering.

ROTTMNT Young Adult AU

This is a group picture for my aged up AU.

Ages:

Scarlett & April- 20

Raph- 19

Donnie, Leo, & Violet- 18

Mikey- 17

Scarlett is running her fathers dojo. Violet is a student for coding/ programming as well as dancing.

April is working through college for environmental studies.

Donnie is working through multiple science and engineering majors,

Raph is continually training and working with Scarlett for missions as well as automechanics.

Leo has been training harder to be a good leader and investing his free time into different fighting styles and languages. (As well as some magic)

Mikey has been focusing on his physical and mental spaces as Well as taking online classes for culinary arts.

I got inspired by @bootyyy-shaker9000 s post to make a cute little comic with my Rottmnt OC Scarlett.

It was a fun project and I haven’t made a comic in years.

After taking 24 hours to decompress and coming back to see my boys in Tuxes, I had to draw for the first time in weeks. ❤️

Started thinking about a soulmate AU with My Rise OCs. Scarlett and Raph would be the Red String one where you have a string connected between you and your soulmate. Been practicing backgrounds and new poses so I wanted to do a full piece.

When I get nervous for the new Rise episodes, I draw my own comfort characters. Had the love theme from Pirates of the Caribbean in my head all day so here is Raph and Scarlett as pirates (cause you know since Snow Day I have a head cannon that Raph loves pirates) + bonus image of just Raph.

I had a horrible week with my anxiety and had a big PTSD episode because of my abusive father. Thinking about being protected helps and I ended up with tons of pictures that looked awful but these were the best ones.

During this time, creativity has been coming and going but I am proud to say that I am definitely getting art done regularly. Decided to do a redraw of my first Raph and Scarlett picture I ever did on procreate (back when I was using my sister in law’s iPad once every few weeks.)

I did a comparison of both works (Dec 2019 vs Apr 2020)

I see this and realize I have been constantly improving and growing in my art even when there has been a lot of stress. It’s crazy to see the difference.

All the artists are right, Practice and you’ll see the improvement in your art. ❤️
