"Y/N, I'm boooooooored."

Michelangelo let out a long, drawn-out sigh and turned to look at you. You were both strewn about the living room of the lair, him on the floor and you on the couch. This time was normally used for your weekly Mortal Kombat sesh, but Donatello had shut off the lair's power to make a repair, so the two of you were forced to find an alternative activity. Which sounded like a simple task, but had since proven the opposite.

You mimicked your friend's long-drawn out sigh with a smirk on your face. "Yeah, I bet Don decided on purpose to do this right now," you replied. "Not that I blame him, we do get pretty loud when we game." You were laying on the couch as you spoke, scrolling absentmindedly through your phone's home screen and hoping that an app or notification would give you some sort of inspiration.

You thought for a moment as Mikey continued his mock sighs, which were rising in both volume and drama, before turning to him with an idea. "Hey Mikey, do you use Spotify to listen to music?" He looked to you again before pulling out his phone. "Yeah, team Spotify all the way! Why?"

You sat up with a new invigoration. "We should create a blended playlist!" You exclaimed, opening the app on your phone. "We can compare our music tastes and see what we have in common, it'll be fun!" Mikey sat up from his spot on the floor and handed you his phone with the Spotify app open. "Hell yeah, girl! I'm always in the mood to bump some tunes! Lemme go get my speaker." And with that, he took off to his room.

You got to work with both of your phones in your hand. When he returned, you hit shuffle on your blended playlist and the music started flowing from the speaker. You moved to sit next to him on the floor.

"When I look at the playlist story, it says we have a 56% music match." "Okaaaaaaay, that's not too bad," Mikey replied. "Where do we match up, dudette?" You tapped the screen again, showing him. "Our number one match is Tyler the Creator. That makes sense, I listen to him a lot!" "No way, me too!" Mikey exclaimed. "He's definitely one of my fave artists."

The two of you began chatting away and singing along to songs as they came up, while unknowingly summoning a third party.

"Poor Don'll never get the quiet time he wants," Raphael spoke, shaking his head as he walked into the living room from the dojo. His gruff voice startled you from behind and your heart rate increased, as it often did around the short-tempered brother. You had had a crush on him for a few months now, but were far too intimidated and nervous to make a move, so it went unaddressed. The turtle in question strolled over and plopped down on the couch, looking down at you both on the floor. "What're you two idiots doing, anyway?"

"We're just bumpin' some tunes, bro!" Mikey called, shaking his head to the beat of the song playing. "We're comparing our music tastes!" You excitedly said. "And actually, we're using a very technical algorithm, so this is in the name of science! Donnie couldn't argue with that," you grinned up to the turtle in red. Raph rolled his eyes but let a small smirk grace his features in return. Dork.

"Alright dollface. Since it's so impressive, show me how it works."

You explained the process to him as Mikey continued to jam to the music playing from his speaker. Raph listened and examined the blended playlist you had created. "Hmm... Y/N, see what ours would look like," he pondered, reaching for his phone. Again, your heart sped up, but you breathed out an "O-okay" and took his phone from him. As you tapped the screen, you ignored Mikey wiggling his brows at you in your peripheral vision, knowing about your feelings toward his brother.

When you finished, you gasped slightly, and turned the screen to Raph. "We're at 84%!!!" you squealed, showing him where your favorite artists intertwined. You scrolled through the playlist to see a mix of heavy metal, grunge, classic rock, R&B and rap. Tyler the Creator was also listed as one of your top matching artists.

"No way," the brute scoffed, leaning towards you so that he could look over your shoulder at your blended playlist. You both pointed out which songs were your favorite and why, and also chatted about the favorite artists you had in common. Your nerves eased as you connected with him, your heart thrumming at the realization that he was being... kind of vulnerable with you. You were getting to see a part of Raph that he had never shown you before.

All of the sudden, the song changed to 'Dogtooth' by Tyler the Creator, and Mikey jumped up, hollering. You gasped with joy, and you both looked to each other with excitement. "I love this song!!!" You both yelled, and then: "JINX!" You laughed hard as Mikey ran from the living room, yelling the lyrics at the top of his lungs, 100% looking to annoy his other older brothers.

As your laughing ceased and you turned back to Raph, you took in a quick breath as you realized how close you two were leaning in before the outburst. You were still on the floor, but had scooted towards his spot on the couch until you were practically leaning on his lap. You could feel his warm breath brush your face, and he got an amused look on his face as he gazed at you.

Your eyes widened naturally with the proximity, and after a moment of silence and staring at each other, you opened your mouth you speak. But before you could, Raph began rapping along to the song playing from Mikey's speaker, a growing smirk on his face and a unique glint in his hazel eyes as he watched you.

"She could ride my face, I don't want nothin' in return. Except for some her time and all her love, that's my concern. I'm tryna buy my neighbor's house..."

The eye contact he was giving you in this moment could only be described one way: heavy. And your face turned beet red. The closeness, his gaze, his smirk, the words- it was all too much for your poor heart to take.

"R-raph, w-what are you doing?"

"I'm just bumpin' some tunes, dollface."

My favorite turtle duos (ranked) and why

OKAY.

This is my all time fave duo I’ve said it like 7 times already.

I don’t know why, but Donnie and Raph (especially in the 2003 version) go so well together. DONNIE CALLS RAPH “RAPHIE.” I LOVE IT. They also seem to together when fighting (there’s a small scene in the 2007 version where Raph asks Don for his help while fighting a foot soldier, it’s cute brotherly love y’all I love it)

ANYWAY

I also hc that Raph's favorite brother is Donnie, i don't know why, but i can really see it through every version of them

There’s literally a 2003 TMNT compilation of just Donnie and Raph moments, Donnie canonically calls Raph “Raphie,” and Raph seems to insult Donnie less if not barely. (although in the 2012 version he throws his lil nerdy jokes at him)

Donnie & Raph 100% gives off middle child vibes, so it’s only right they’re the best duo. We see Leo as the oldest and Mikey the youngest, but we never really talk about where don and Raph lie. It’s simply because they’re the

*shudders* middle children

& because they’re the middle children they do A LOT together than people think. They play video games together (as shown in the 2003 version,) have a sarcasm match together & anything else!

Raph also looks out for Donnie during combat since he knows he’s the weakest out of the four of them<3

Okay, rise!donnie & leo??? MY FAVORITE.

I feel like Donnie is the backbone of a lot of Leo's plans. If you think about it, a lot of the time Leo may rely on Donnie to either hack or invent something for them to use in their mission. Though in the 2012 he doesn't allow donnie to use the turtle mech because it was too risky, but a lot of his inventions seriously save Leo all the trouble of making a plan up and stressing him out

I also love the thought of them as twins bc it makes so much sense & I enjoy it A LOT!!!

Leo praises Donnie for a lot of his work, but Raph does it the most

Okay, I LOVE. In every installment, they seriously kill it together.

I enjoyed them a lot in the 2012 version, it wasn't like bayverse or 2003 where a lot of the screentime was taken up by them arguing. We saw how caring Raph was during the farmhouse arc and how he really missed Leo, and tried to help him get back on his feet as leader. Not only that, but 2007 Raph secretly really cared for Leo A LOT, i think the line where Raph says

"Youre gonna need these [katana] if youre gonna lead us out of here," & Leo says, "I'm gonna need you, too." LIKE BROOO????? *cries*

I truly love their small rivalry but brotherly love at the same time like wut

But anyhoo, I really like that although they may get into it (yuh) with each other, they still fight really good together regardless I love them wtf.

I love the little brother older brother dynamic here seriously!

I feel like Mikey is a trouble magnet and Leo is just a worried mom friend who tries to steer him away from it yet winds up getting involved anyways

I also hc that Leo carries hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE he goes no matter what. They’re not touching anything foreign unless they slather a gloop of hand sanitizer on

Makes sure Mikey is safe during combat. I’ve thought about this for a while, but I feel like Leo will always watch Mikey’s back without him even realizing it. Mikey is pretty oblivious and Leo is always there to pick up the things he misses!

Also i 100% think that Leo and mikey discuss pranks to do on Raph, almost all of them are Leo’s idea but don’t tell Raph that

Head Shrink - HOLY SHIT IM CRYINGGG. Go on. Make me shed tears why dont you.

Days - THE SWITCH?? damn holy !!! Its giving The Sticks!!! Holy shit the switch up!! Genuinely shocks you how good they are at seamlessly transitioning from one thing to another and its perfect

Forever - Holy shit I cant describe this. Please listen if you dont know

Normalise - A classic banger!!! Teased you with some elements and hid the experimental stuff hehe

Goddamn Staying Power - This etheral solo is AMAZING AND SO INSANE

The Matrix - Such an amazing spin on their classic style with such cool and grimey sounds to elevate it. The GUITARRRRR. The drop is on another level

Gods Plan - Insane semi spiritual like. Ironic take on the mysticism of life and religion. Its amazing. Second half has an amazing jazzy undertone?

End of Me - The insane distortion vibes??? Like im loving this scratchy record sound its so good. I feel like the musics being bended and twisted. Also animalistic vibes?it has such a funky cool beat!!

Grief Chapter - Yeah of course the album title song sounds like this. Its giving simplist yet immensly classy! Very reminicint of Ryans solo album GLDMTH. It almost feels like an alternative take on their other songs about family and difficult relationships. Very beautiful end of album song!

Overall Thoughts

I have to say this album has done an amazing job at absolutely taking you on a crazy journey. Like I cant explain how insane and cool listening to that first time was with no idea what was coming besides the few singles released. Even then I feel like the singles we got weren't as NEARLY experimental as the rest of the album - like a teaser lol.

But seriously, this album fully satisfied me. Not that I didn't have high expectations for this album, but regardless it absolutely blew whatever I had in mind out of the water. It was phenomenal. Another note, I'm so fucking glad that a lot of the songs in this album are longer than we usually get from the band. It really feels like they pushed themselves to their limits artistically. Like they just fully let go of any musical conventions during the making of this album and it WORKED SO WELL! the absolute amazing switch ups in near every song, I mean fuck some songs threw you for a loop 3 or 4 times in the span of 6 minutes. I can't even explain the artistry that goes behind this but it was so well done. This album truly feels like the peak of their career - and I mean that. They truly went to new heights with it and didn't hold back!

Thankyou Mother Mother for another album to define the next 4 years of my life!

On a serious note, its been an insane experience watching this band for the past decade. It's absolutely insane to say I'm still sitting here today obsessed with their music. The last 10 years have truly felt like a journey with this band. Every album ; Touch Up, Oh My Heart, Eureka, The Sticks, Very Good Bad Thing, No Culture, Dance and Cry, Inside , all of it has truly been like a backing track to my life! I can't even describe how much of an effect Mother Mother has had on my life. I'm continually shocked every time they release a new track and it manages to bring out new feelings in me. Thankyou for everything Mother Mother, I hope to keep growing with you!

A/N: you, m’dear, are very bright. I may have taken just a smidge of creative liberty with this, but here it is all the same :))

- Teddy bear (A Oneshot) -

Warm light filtered into the windows of your room, bringing the gentle warmth that often reminded you of your favorite turtle. Your bandaged fingers brushed against your sheets, a reminder of how hard you worked. Every day you mended, created, and thought up new stuffed animals. It brought you both joy and pain- but you were always thankful for it. Making little dolls for people was your favorite thing, so when you had met Raph, the sweetest plush of all, you couldn’t help but stay up a few nights — making what you hoped was a realistic adaptation of the turtle. This plush you were going to keep for yourself, unlike all the others. Your very own teddy bear, because you had a sinking feeling you would never be able to cuddle the real thing. 

Last night was a bit of a blur—  you had been working on another commission, tirelessly threading your needle through the fabric. You had invited Raph to hang out since his family had all left the lair— something about a surprise — and he didn’t want to be alone.

Throughout the hours, the red-clad turtle had helped every now and then— but eventually, you felt his gentle hand rest on your shoulder. In curiosity, you met his eyes, which held nothing but kindness. “isn’t it a little— late, (Y/N)?” He smiled, yet his brows held worry— what time was it again? You couldn’t remember. “I should get this finished by tomorrow, Raph..” you mirrored his smile, only to pause as he chuckled, a hand pointing to your clock. 

“It already is tomorrow, (Y/N).”

Why that memory in particular was so clear, you couldn’t tell, all you knew was at some point he had coaxed you to sleep despite your protests. You had sleepily told him he could find some blankets in your closet, and that he was welcome to spend the night, but the last thing you could remember was a hand gently sweeping your hair out of your face. Then— there was nothing.

Your eyes fluttered open, hands gently accustoming to the feeling of the Raph plush in your arms- which- last you checked, had been hiding under your blankets. Apparently at some point in the night you had found it again, clinging to the soft fabric with your life. 

“Sorry— did I wake you?” A soft voice asked, and as you looked towards the door, your gaze met the one of your favorite turtle. You sleepily sat up, muttering something about how glad you were it was the weekend. Before you could say any more, a tray was placed on your lap - filled with an arrangement of cut fruits, syrup, and a bowl of oatmeal. “I.. didn’t know how you liked it..” Raph admitted shyly, before his eyes lifted, landing on the plushie you currently held in your lap. 

His mouth held agape for a moment, and he shook his head slightly, as if trying to snap himself out of it. His eyes dilated, and reality struck as he realized he was not, in fact, imagining it. When he didn’t respond to your many thanks, you looked up from your food, and followed his eyes.. to mini Raph. 

You could swear you felt your heart drop into your stomach.

How were you going to explain this one? Say that you were bored? Say that you were going to make the others as well? You knew you weren’t— but you would have to if you said that! How would you explain how dearly you held him it? How would he react? 

“Is that— me?” Raph questioned, swallowing the bit of excitement that crawled up his throat. You felt heat rush to your face, the words escaping you as you avoided his gaze. He crouched next to your bed, leaning closer to the plushie, “Does he have a name?” His arm tentatively reached out, letting the stuffed animal’s hand perch on his finger. 

“Well—“ you thought for a moment, trying to recover from the shock that he wasn’t upset with you. “Uhm, I haven’t really thought of a name other than Raph..” your chin rested on the plush’s head, fiddling with the edges of its shell. 

At the sight, Raph could feel his heart explode. He never thought he could feel jealous of a plushie! Not that he didn’t love the doll, it was just a reminder of where he wanted to be— but maybe this meant he had a chance..? His eyes scanned your face gently, a content smile on his face. “Well, if you wanna just stick with Raph, I suppose I’ll have to let it slide.” He chuckled, nodding over to your tray. 

“Now cmon. Your oatmeal’s getting cold.” 

Right on time, you felt your stomach start to burn, begging for sustenance of any kind. Ignoring how embarrassed you felt, you leaned forward, taking the spoon from the tray as well as a few fruits. The oatmeal was warm and delicious, melting in your mouth as you smiled into the meal. Raph gave a small excited noise at the look on your face, delighted that you seemed to enjoy it. 

A while of comfortable silence fell over the two of you, Raph trying his best to suppress the want to hug the absolute crap out of you. He could feel his tail gently wagging as he watched you, entirely content to sit there the entire rest of the day if you wanted. 

“Soo..” he said after a while, an ‘eldest brother’ look on his face, “was there a reason you chose to make me?” He tried to hide the hopeful edge in his voice, ultimately failing when you looked at him— a slight starry look in your eye. You bit your lip, considering whether or not this was a good time to spill about the warmth Raph brought you every day. “You.. well..” taking a gander outside your window, you observed that the sun was making a once-in-a-blue-moon appearance, glistening against the hues of NYC, and you thought.. maybe today was as good a day as any. 

“You may or may not be..” you started, feeling a lump in your throat at his expectant expression, “my favorite— person.. to be around..” hiding your face in your plushie, you tried to stim out your panic, “I— missed having you around..” your fingers fiddled with the soft hands of the creature, snuggling into it’s head. Raph paused, a look of pure joy on his face, his hand lifted, squeezing where his heart fluttered. Your favorite person? Really? Him? His cheeks hurt from how much he was smiling, and suddenly he couldn’t contain himself. His arms reached out, pulling you from where you perched on your bed into a rib crushing hug. He nuzzled into your hair, grinning from ear to ear as you let out a surprised squeak. 

“You’re my favorite person, too.” He cheesed, loosening his grip a little so you could actually breathe. “Can I have one of you, too?” Letting you some space so you could look at him, he caught a glimpse of the cherry blush on your face. “You okay?” He cupped your face with his hand, brushing your cheek with his thumb. You gave a sheepish smile, leaning into his touch. “Yes to… both questions.” 

You had no idea how to capture your own likeness, but you were sure Raph wouldn’t mind helping you out.

A/N: It didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted it, but considering the grin I had on my face while writing parts of it — I’d say it was worth it 😤 I’m so glad I finally finished this, it’s been on the backburner for TOO long, especially with how sweet of an idea it is!!! (And that it may have been requested by one of my favorite ppl)

Day 14: favourite turtle movie

I actually like all the movies I have seen (not seen the 90's ones or the Batman vs Tmnt.. idk is there more of them) so I couldn't just pick one so have these.

Can you guess what my fave tmnt movies are? These are the clues for them as there are three movies included in this picture. And yes they are all Raphies, first I tried to draw them as Leos but it was hard to draw two of them to make sense.

Days - THE SWITCH?? damn holy !!! Its giving The Sticks!!! Holy shit the switch up!! Genuinely shocks you how good they are at seamlessly transitioning from one thing to another and its perfect

Forever - Holy shit I cant describe this. Please listen if you dont know

Normalise - A classic banger!!! Teased you with some elements and hid the experimental stuff

Goddamn Staying Power - This etheral solo is AMAZING AND SO INSANE

The Matrix - Such an amazing spin on their classic beat style with such cool and grimey sounds to elevate it. The GUITARRRRR. The drop is on another level

Gods Plan - Insane semi spiritual like. Ironic take on the mysticism of life and religion. Its amazing. Second half has an amazing jazzy undertone?

End of Me -The insane distortion vibes??? Like im loving this scratchy record sound its so good. I feel like the musics being bended and twisted. Also animalistic vibes?it has such a funky cool beat!!

Grief Chapter - Yeah if course the album title song sounds like this. Its giving simplist yet immensly classy! Very reminicint of Ryans solo album GLDMTH. It almost feels like an alternative take on their other songs about family and difficult relationships. Very beautiful end of album song!

Speechless

The opening sequence started with an abandoned warehouse, boards filling in the way inside mostly on the windows. There came moving noises and shouts from the inside and out popped our four favorite turtles one by one, Leo in the lead. The dust settled down slowly as they each tried to catch their breath. Eventually, came the half-hearted laughs.

"Okay...that was kinda fun back there." Leo piped up.

"Risky, but yeah, not bad for first-timer, Leo." Raph's arms crossed in pride. Mikey nodded in agreement and looked towards Donnie, already hunched over his wrist device tapping away.

"And you said I couldn't handle leadership." The red-eared slider smirked.

"W-What, I never said that?"

"Not out loud anyhow."

While the older brothers slightly bickered among themselves, the box turtle turned attention towards the middle child of the family. "Donnie? Yo, Donald." He reached to touch the other's shoulder. The softshell in question slightly seemed startled turning towards the baby brother. "Leo did a pretty good job leading us, didn't he? You didn't have that much doubt in him as you did from the start, right?"

Donnie gaped a little before pressing lips into a thin line, giving off a quick nod. He appeared a little pale all of a sudden.

It didn't get past Orange as he collected Purple's hands in his own, "Hey... what's up, bro? You act like you've seen a ghost so suddenly." His brow curved into one of worry, "You can tell us anything, you know?"

This caught the attention of the older brothers as they faced the two younger siblings. Donnie began opening and closing his jaw but hardly made any sounds, slowly reaching to feel his Adam's apple... something wasn't right.

'It feels like fire...why can't I say anything...??'

"Donnie- whoa!" Mikey yelped as the softshell launched forward, hand over mouth as one cough after the other poured their way out in a painful manner. Leo grew in panic, making his way over quickly.

"Mikey, the hell is going on...??"

"He-He won't say anything to me!" Mikey was getting a little scared, "I don't...think he can say anything."

Blue bit his lip hard, "You're not suggesting that...?" But he had to brush it off, for now, turning to his twin who was trying to collect his breathing, tears in his eyes from the coughing fit that kept building up. "Donnie! D-Donnie, just take it easy. Deep breathing, just breathe deeply and slowly, you hear?" The softshell did his best to follow said instructions. "That's it, just like you do with your panic attacks..."

"I'm gonna ring up Pops, maybe he can help!" Raph wasted no time in bringing out his phone to do so.

"Yeah, you do that!"

Donnie eventually got his breathing under control, but it still felt hot to the touch... it was making him dizzy. Leo calling out his name was the last thing he heard before passing out.

It could've been minutes or hours even, but Donatello slowly woke to find himself in the den laid on the couch. He felt something cool and wet around his throat, still felt warm from the inside regardless. He pushed himself into a sitting position...

"Hey, bro."

There was Leo, approaching him into a kneel beside his disaster twin. "Try not to talk right now, you'll end up with another coughing fit. Is there anything you need?"

Now that he mentioned it... Donnie did his best to gesture like he was drinking. Leo nodded in understanding, bringing up a glass of water, ice cubes bobbing about in it. The softshell took slow sips of the beverage and eventually looked towards the slider turtle silently asking;

 Have they figured out the problem?

"Well...it should be obvious what the cause is." Leo tried to laugh but it faltered, "At least... that's what I'm hoping anyway..." He felt Donnie's hand slowly take a hold on his own and he squeezed in return. The snapper and box turtles made their way into the den.

"Ah, good. He's awake." Mikey sighed, relieved. "Now remember, Raph-"

"I know." Raph approached the other two, a somewhat frown in the genius's direction. "You've got a pretty bad habit of scaring us half to death, don't you?" Donnie pouted; was he really gonna do this now?

"But the problem's been figured out, right?" Leo wanted to know. Raph and Mikey took concerned noticed how the slider kept hold of the other's hand.

"...Right?"

"Uh, yeah, kinda." Mikey cleared his throat, "The way Draxum described it... that dust we dealt with has a bigger effect on some more than others from the looks of it. And those who have had it say it's like having a fever of 100 except it's within your neck. Just some soft foods and liquids, he should be good in no time."

This somewhat settled relief for Leo. Donnie, however, wasn't sure about not being able to speak for a long period of time.

"And we're all gonna pitch in and do our best to help you get better. The only difference being you won't be able to protest against us." Raph's little joke was answered with Donnie's elbow connecting with his ribcage. "Oof!"

Mikey giggled sadly, "Actions still speak louder than words, you know that, Raphie." Leo would've laughed too, he just felt too glum to follow through.

"It's okay, boys." Splinter entered the room, "I'll take it from here, you're all free to go now."

"Sure, pops."

"Yes, daddy."

The rat turned to the slider, "That means you too, Blue...Purple will be alright."

Leo wanted to protest, say anything but Donnie's hand upon his shoulder and a sad smile aimed at him... Blue sighed in understanding, getting up and slowly following after his other brothers. As Splinter changed the towel from Donnie's neck to replace it with a fresh one, he took fatherly notice how the twin kept his gaze where Leo had walked out.

"Try not to worry about him right now, my son. He'll be alright, you'll see."

Leo paced in the other room while Raph and Mikey were doing their own things to pass the time. How could he have been so stupid, so overconfident, just so... with a grunt of frustration, he grabbed a cushion and tossed it across to the other side.

Raph couldn't help taking notice, "It didn't really do anything to you, Leo..."

"You can say it." Leo frowned, "You both can just say it already, get it over with."

"Say what?"

The slider growled annoyed, "You know what I'm talking about, damn it! I'm the one responsible for what's happened to Donnie! He's like this cause of me! Who knows how long it'll be before he's up and chatting again, maybe to even rub it in what I could've done differently!" He paused to catch his breath after his vent.

"Look, Leo-"

"So what're you saying?" Mikey glanced from his comic, "You'd rather be the one with the hurt throat while Donnie's blaming himself instead?"

Leo's brow curved in concern, "What, no, I'm not saying that..."

"Hey, none of us knew the dust in that house would have that type of effect but we made it through as best as we could. We've at least made it out alive, right?"

His fists clenched tightly, "I know that... but I just..."

Mikey, now marking a spot in his comic, approached his older sibling in blue resting his hands on his shoulders. "Leo, I don't know if this will be any help, but... you shouldn't consider your mistakes as failures but as lessons instead." He smiled, "You at least have an idea what to do for next time we approach a situation like this, again, don't you?"

Leo bit his lip... and nodded. Raph joined in, "And like I said, we all pitch in, Donnie's gonna feel better in no time."

"...thanks guys." Leo embraced both his siblings in a group hug.

Mikey eventually broke away, "So... which one of us should take turns with Donnie first?"

Blue smiled, "I've already had my turn, you guys can decide among yourselves."

The next few days flew by faster than you could blink. Mikey helped out with whipping up soft recipes that Donatello could easily swallow, Raph assisted with telling some of his middle brother's fave stories (preferably ones that didn't involve too much magic). And as for Leo, he simply shared episodes of Jupiter Jim, some of them being Donnie's favorites too.

Purple was eventually able to speak again once the burning in his throat went away, but he and Leo didn't have to share an apology/forgiveness between them; it felt on that day after that mission, they already have both said their peace.
